It began Saturday afternoon as a grim, if familiar, ritual. Dozens of protesters gathered outside the south Minneapolis apartment building where police fatally shot a Black man two days earlier. His name was Andrew Tekle Sundberg; his family said he was having a mental health crisis that led to an overnight standoff with officers, and activists wanted to know why the police could not have taken him in alive. "We're here to respect life, demand justice, and we're demanding the release of the body cam footage," Trahern Crews, a lead organizer for Black Lives Matter Minnesota, said through a bullhorn.

Comments:

"Tekle' was shooting wildly and barricaded himself in an apartment. Protestors say he was just having a bad day and police should have taken him peacefully.

You have to watch crimewatchmpls to see what's going on in this cesspool.. Lots of info on this story. E.g. The Pohlad Foundation (owners of the minnesota twins) have announced after this incident they are contributing 1.25 million for a tech system that will report even FURTHER on the bad cops.. good to see they and soros and the RedStar and NYC Carpetbagger Frey are on the same page

Interesting side note to the depth and breadth of the Lefty network in urban America. A year ago, the Salt Lake City School District reached all the way to the Minneapolis to find their new Superintendent -- a black man. (SLC is run by a gay mafia. They have a publicly funded collection of St. George murals.) A year later he is in the paper this week for being suspended from duties for cause.

Why the police respond to any problem in a black community is a mystery. They get no respect and the blacks are nothing more than useful idiots. Every day in these same black communities blacks are killing each other, every week in these black communities a child is murdered. Any protests, didn't think so. The democratic plantations will never change. Got it.

Let's play "Twenty Questions." First Question: Do you live in Minneapolis? If "yes," then go to Question 2. If "no," game over. Second Question: Are you white? If "yes," move out as soon as possible and game over. If "no," then game over for you, too, because you probably can't count any higher.

50 cops for 6 hours, an entire neighborhood evacuated, streets shut down, no one able to get to work/school...many of those evacuated without even the clothes or money to stay elsewhere, go about their lives, while a "Crazy Person" is firing guns randomly. Cops had only 2 choices, say "Times Up, take him down"..or...leave and say "Call us when it's over" This is yet another case of "Pick a better Martyr", this guy ain't worth it. Former Democratic Labor Secretary Robert Reich believes it may be time for Democrats to kick Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., out of the party because they "already lost control over the Senate" and can’t get anything done despite appearing to have power. Reich, who served as secretary of Labor under President Clinton and was a member of President Obama’s economic transition advisory board, wrote on Substack that kicking Manchin out of the party would at least allow Democrats to admit they didn’t truly have control when Americans head off to vote in the looming midterm elections. Manchin's office had reportedly told

The chances that Biden could attract a primary challenger are rising amid devastating polling numbers with Democrats and particularly young voters. His loyalists have defended him against the increasingly negative headlines. They say he stepped into a mess made by former President Trump and that some of the lawmakers in Congress who were supposed to help him turn things around have been difficult and disappointing. But that willingness to prop up the sinking president has been wearing thin. Day by day, Democrats are considering a possible new scenario: challenging the sitting president for the 2024 nomination. “Unless Biden comes to

President Joe Biden finds himself far underwater with voters, facing foreign crises and increasingly scary inflation figures — all of which attract comparisons to America's 39th president, Jimmy Carter. Carter is perhaps the president most closely associated with high inflation, and thanks to a legacy that includes a stiff 1980 primary challenge and a decisive reelection loss to Ronald Reagan, he's a president to whom no White House Democrat wants to be compared. "High inflation and rising gas prices are economic numbers that make people nervous, which tends to bring down presidential approval ratings — all of that is similar," said Robert
