Unwilling to take their political and legal losses like the good citizens of a democratic republic and work within the system, Democrats are more and more demanding they get their way through harassment that includes the threat of violence. What has set this country apart since its birth is unraveling. The U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs ruling, the “unflinching repudiation” of Roe v. Wade, set an already fuming political left on fire. And the flame still burns. White hot. “The six justices who overturned Roe should never know peace again,” a Harvard law instructor, and democratic socialist, tweeted

And welcome to Amerika. This mob behavior is the very reason why no democrat should ever hold high office ever again and why our own msm must go the way of Air America. All of whom support a violent antifa. Harvard law professor, based on your tweet cited in the I & I editorial, now just who is the fascist here?

The Progressives/Democrats are by word and deed proving that they are the true insurrectionists in this country. It is ironic that they seem to be totally obvious to their deplorable hypocrisy when they accuse anybody that disagrees with them of being insurrectionists. The country needs protection from them. After all, it was one of their’s that was caught armed and ready to murder a Supreme Court Justice. Students of this “Harvard law professor” should demand their money back.

Constitutions, laws, regulations, contracts, agreements, moral legal or ethical principles, traditions, logic, religion, mental consistency, whatever, are only means to an end for the Left. They only give them lip service when useful. This is why they can espouse conflicting principles and logic at the same time — they don’t really care. All they care about is whatever they want at that moment and they will take any position, any action, to get what they want.

These people are truly acting like a 2 yr old throwing a temper tantrum. They are an embarrassment to this country. We just have to treat them like 2 yr olds - when they misbehave, they have time out. We need the republicans in congress to start getting a backbone and stick up for the country. Laws are laws - if you don't like them, work within the system to change them. Majority rules, not 2 yr olds.

I, for one, am sick of the phrase "rule of law." Rule of law in and of itself means nothing positive and can carry a boat load of negative. All totalitarian governments have the rule of law to enforce their will. Does that justify the law? I think not. It is time to qualify "the rule of law" with one or both terms: just or moral. We live under a government that promulgates unjust laws every day. We live in a society that is legalistic to the point that simple existence means you are violating at least one law. The rule of law only has meaning when it is just and fairly enforced. Can anyone say that about our legal system today?

"Biden shakes hands with the air … again” is the label on a video clip of President Joe Biden after he receives \the Presidential Medal of Honor from Israeli Isaac Herzog at an event in Jerusalem.[snip] But that’s not the most embarrassing handshake flub at this event. After carefully making his way down to his chair, Biden smiles — as though happy with his achievement — and then he and Harzog watch a pop duet sing a Hebrew rendition of “Let it Be.” At the end of the song, they walk over to the singers,

When the latest government report on inflation came out on Wednesday, showing that it had hit another grim milestone in June of 9.1%, President Joe Biden told the public not to worry. That figure, he said, “is out of date.” Prices for key components of the Consumer Price Index have eased so far in July, he said. Besides, he said, inflation is higher “in many countries (in Europe) than in America.” The public would do well to ignore anything Biden says about inflation, given his horrible track record

The Jan. 6 hearings mark the third major investigation into former President Donald Trump’s time in office. To many people, in particular Republicans, these investigations have looked suspiciously politicized, especially the most recent hearings. What’s surprising is that a large share of Democrats agree, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll results show. Republicans have been front and center in criticizing the Jan. 6 hearings as little more than a political circus intended to besmirch Trump. Even the makeup of the “bipartisan” committee has come in for ridicule, since the two GOP members of the nine-member panel were handpicked

Reports of unrest over environmental policies from the Netherlands and Sri Lanka are much more than novelty news. What is happening in both spots is a lesson that has to be learned quickly. If not, there’s deep trouble ahead. Dutch farmers, whose history of crop yields puts them among the most productive in the world, continue to protest rules that limit their use of nitrogen, a nutrient in commercial fertilizers that converts to nitrous oxide, which is feared as a greenhouse gas. Officials expected them to cut use 50% nationally, which means in some regions, the reductions will be as high as 95%.

After months and months of bad news and metastasizing crises, who can blame President Joe Biden for seizing one glimmer of good economic news? Too bad the good news isn’t really that good at all. On the surface, the economic news from Friday looked celebratory. The Labor Department reported that the economy had created 372,000 mobs in June, beating the consensus forecast (a rare thing under Biden). The unemployment rate held at 3.6%. And, to top it off, jobs in the private sector regained all the losses from the COVID lockdowns. In response, Biden rushed out a statement bragging about

Psychological projection is the act of attributing one’s unpleasant traits to someone else. Psychological deflection is a way of shifting attention away from one’s poor behavior to another person. Both are used expertly by Democrats, who don’t want the voters to catch on to their act. We could start with any of the Democrats’ many examples of projection and deflection, but let’s focus on one of the most recent instances of a Democratic pot calling a kettle black: California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Florida television ad. “Freedom is under attack in your state,” Newsom said

A little over 500 days into his presidency, Joe Biden has an unblemished record — of being “caught off guard” by every major crisis that has engulfed the country since January 2021. The question now is, what’s the next crisis that will catch Biden flat-footed and for which he will have no solutions? Search for “Biden caught off guard” and see for yourself how often this has made news over the past year and a half. To save you the effort, here are just a few examples:

Maybe the Jan. 6 hearings are, as some assert, really about distracting Americans from the Democrats’ shocking policy failures. How else can one explain the refusal of President Joe Biden and the Democratic Congress to address our ongoing energy crisis? And, no, it’s no exaggeration to call this a crisis. With consumer prices rising at a four-decade-high of 8.6% in the most recent year-over-year comparison, Americans are watching their standard of living fall fast. A just-released national survey has found that 83% of U.S. households are cutting their personal spending and travel due to soaring inflation. These cutbacks

President Joe Biden signed a sweeping gun control bill into law over the weekend that aims to prevent future massacres like the one that occurred in Uvalde, Texas, a month ago. About the Christian churches in the West, he said that it feels to him like we are at the point of the downfall of the Kingdom of Judah, just before the Jews were taken to Babylon in captivity. He said that in those days, many false prophets appeared, telling the Jews what they wanted to hear:

Spectacular and groundbreaking snapshots of the early cosmos gripped the world earlier this week when NASA released the first images from its new super space telescope. James Webb captured an unprecedented look at a 'stellar nursery', a dying star cloaked by dust and a 'cosmic dance' between a group of galaxies, along with hints of water vapor in the atmosphere of a remote exoplanet. What is even more exciting, however, is that astronomers say this is just 'the tip of the iceberg'. This accelerating trend is especially pronounced among young adults. We found that scientific theories about the unguided evolution of life have, in particular, led more people to reject belief in God than worries about suffering, disease, or death.
