He hasn’t been caught off guard at all - everything that is happening is caused by him and his cabal and it’s all intentional. “Caught off guard” is just CYA.

President Biden is correct, there is nothing inevitable about a recession. The one we are in was created by his policies and will continue(likely into a depression) unless he changes his policies away from attempting to control the economy from Washington, or until he is replaced by a President who implements policies which reduce central planning.

Maybe the Jan. 6 hearings are, as some assert, really about distracting Americans from the Democrats’ shocking policy failures. How else can one explain the refusal of President Joe Biden and the Democratic Congress to address our ongoing energy crisis? And, no, it’s no exaggeration to call this a crisis. With consumer prices rising at a four-decade-high of 8.6% in the most recent year-over-year comparison, Americans are watching their standard of living fall fast. A just-released national survey has found that 83% of U.S. households are cutting their personal spending and travel due to soaring inflation. These cutbacks

The governor of the biggest state in the country has said he isn’t running for president. But there’s no question Gavin Newsom wants to be in the White House. The only question: Is this country foolish enough to elect such a miserable failure? Newsom has said publicly that he has no presidential ambitions. But it’s no secret that he’s been groomed for White House occupancy by rich, progressive San Francisco elites. And now he’s “picking exactly the kinds of fights that presidential candidates like to pick” and is “clearly laying the groundwork for a presidential run,” in 2028 if not 2024.

President Joe Biden signed a sweeping gun control bill into law over the weekend that aims to prevent future massacres like the one that occurred in Uvalde, Texas, a month ago. The new law enhances background checks for young would-be gun buyers, encourages states to pass so-called “red flag” laws, and devotes some money to improving school security. The May 24 attack on a Uvalde elementary school that killed 19 students and two teachers created a wave of anger across America over gun violence in schools. Parents wondered not just about how a young deranged man could carry out such a horrendous crime,

WASHINGTON, June 31, 2022 — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Frisco, is readying new articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, Issues & Insights has learned. “Sixteen months is too long to go between Trump impeachments,” she told her Democratic caucus in a secret meeting surreptitiously recorded by I&I investigators. She said that despite her previous claim that Trump had been “impeached forever,” she now believes that the effectiveness of a Trump impeachment is only about as long-lasting as a COVID vaccine. The 1973 Roe v. Wade abortion decision, it’s fair to say, is one of the most divisive in the history of the U.S. Supreme Court. And the media have largely played up that divisiveness. But a new I&I/TIPP Poll shows that while Americans show deep splits over abortion, their opinions about the controversial medical procedure are far more nuanced than media accounts suggest. A new Supreme Court ruling on Roe is due any day now. Based on a leaked draft of an earlier version of that decision, it seems highly likely that Roe will be overturned. With this in mind, the I&I/TIPP Poll asked

The Clintons are back at the top of the news, claiming in recent separate interviews that we are at risk of “losing our democracy.” Of course we’re not a democracy, and shrieking about “losing” it is the Democrats’ cover for their campaign to achieve absolute and unchallenged political power in this country. And no one is more to blame for that than the Clintons. In an interview with talk show host James Corden, a hopelessly silly man who apparently fawns over every Democrat he talks to, Bill said he believes “there’s a fair chance that we could completely lose our constitutional democracy for a couple of decades

Today the Democratic House takes a strong step to bring down crucial kitchen table costs of the pump and grocery store and across the board.” That’s the transcript of what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on the House floor before all but five of her fellow Democrats voted for the “Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act” last week. Pelosi’s garbled syntax aside, the only thing this bill would lower is the public’s trust in anything Democrats say these days. Despite its title, this bill would expand government but do nothing – repeat, nothing – to lower prices today, tomorrow, or any time in the future.

If there’s a topic uppermost on most people’s minds today, it is certainly the surge in inflation over the past year. Soaring prices have affected virtually every person in the country. And Americans say they know who’s responsible: President Biden. Surprisingly, that includes more than half of all Democrats, too. May’s 8.6% annualized inflation rate, the highest in 40 years, shocked financial markets and alarmed consumers and workers alike. As we’ve been reminded over the years, inflation acts as a tax on everyone, lowering standards of living, raising costs across the board, and eroding the very foundations of a productive economy. And once entrenched, it’s very difficult to get rid of.

No doubt about it, the economic news in recent weeks has been relentlessly negative. Indicator after indicator shows activity plunging sharply in key parts of the economy. Now, a widely followed indicator signals economic growth is likely to be zero in the current quarter, after the first quarter’s “unexpected” 1.4% decline. Buckle up, looks like we’re entering a recession, folks. On day 487 in office, President Joe Biden set a new record. He has the lowest approval rating of all presidents at this point in their presidencies since Gallup started tracking this in 1945. According to Gallup’s Presidential Job Approval Center, just 41% approve of the job Biden is doing. That’s worse than Gerald Ford, or Lyndon Johnson, or even Jimmy Carter on day 487. Much worse than Ronald Reagan, the Bushes, Bill Clinton, or Barack Obama. To add insult to his injury, Biden’s approval rating is now lower than Trump’s was at this point in Trump’s first term. Biden’s oh-so-presidential response to his cratering support: he is “seething.”

Then-President Donald Trump angrily demanded to go to the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and berated his protective detail when he didn't get his way, according to two Secret Service sources who say they heard about the incident from multiple agents, including the driver of the presidential SUV where it occurred. Not since the decade leading up to the Civil War has there been as much discussion about the possibility of the United States splitting into two or more countries as there has been in the past 10 years. The reality is that this nation has effectively split into two countries which are, for the moment, tenuously living side-by-side. Race or ethnicity has been the underlying foundation in the creation of every nation in the history of mankind except the United States, as its founding was based on the tenet that all men are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights that government cannot abrogate.
