House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul bought up to $5 million in stock of a computer chip company ahead of a vote on a bill next week that would hand billions in subsidies to boost chip manufacturing, a financial disclosure shows.
Paul Pelosi purchased 20,000 shares of Nvidia, one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies, on June 17, according to the speaker’s disclosure report released Thursday. Now, senators will convene as early as Tuesday to vote on a bipartisan competition bill, which allocates $52 billion to boost domestic semiconductor manufacturing and gives tax credits for production, Reuters reported Thursday.

this stuff is so blatant it's comical if, I were in a mind to find it as such. I don't find it comical and I'm not in a frame of mind to find it comical. the utter arrogance this woman displays is stupendously irritating but she knows she is the leader of the protected class and will continue to do this kind of criminal behaviour for as long as she can and as Larry Kudlow says: "the cavalry's coming" and I hope they have their swords drawn when they get here

From No. 9; "Our public servants would make the Don Corleone blush. What a bunch of criminals."
Now here is the broken record that needs to be straightened out. We NEED term limits and we needed them twenty years ago. The longer anyone, except the truly honest few, stays in a position of authority, the MORE corrupt they become, and I do not just mean politicians.
Please try to prove me wrong!!

FTA - "“It certainly raises the specter that Paul Pelosi could have access to some insider legislative information,” Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist for the left-wing think tank Public Citizen, told the Daily Caller News Foundation."
The best way to connect the dots here is to determine which members of congress, including Nanie of course, have or will receive campaign donations from Nvidia and which members of congress voted or will "yes" on the $52 billion bill. Checking the call and texting history on their cell phones and emails for evidence of contact with Nvidia would also work. Short of all this, Pelousy will probably skate despite the bad optics.

Remember this, friends, the Congress EXEMPTED themselves from insider trading laws for just this reason.. when they “tried” to reform this a couple of years ago it was voted down. This current “Congress” does not represent We the People, they represent themselves and their donors.

After George W. Bush was elected in 2004, Nancy Pelosi ran with the theme of "drain the swamp" and people bought into her mantra. Well given now, how little we knew about the Bushes and the Cheneys, they may have been part of an even bigger swamp. Unfortunately, it seems that if a person gets voted into Congress, there are some where their swamp gets bigger. Instead of being humbled, they become arrogant and elitist. That is how I view Nancy and Paul Pelosi. They have a pretty big swamp and only believe that other people's swamps need to be drained. Not theirs.

The World's Greatest Deliberative Body™ knows the winners and losers in advance because they affect the stock market through their actions, and insider trading laws do not apply to them. Best of all, these actions (here, a massive subsidy) are done using our money, and the resulting inflation and stock market losses are our problem, not theirs, because the casino is rigged in their favor.

Moreover, semiconductors are not manufactured here because federal government regulations (environmental, capricious safety inspections, etc), along with highly inflated costs for energy, employee health insurance, taxes, and other inputs makes it impossible to do so at a profit. Instead of addressing these "root causes" by closing various agencies and getting out of the way so producers can produce, the US Congress simply steals more taxpayer money to mask a problem that they created. A deeper reason why we don't manufacture critical items domestically is that the communists decided years ago to deindustrialize the USA so we could not be self-sufficient; spending us into fiscal collapse is just icing on the cake to them.

The Congress is corrupt, they have given themselves exemptions from the law whenever they use official government limited access information to buy and sell stocks and bonds that is commonly referred to as insider trading. If anyone else outside of Congress did that, chances are they would be prosecuted and be put in prison, especially if they are a Republican.

While this is sickening, I have to question the timing of the exposure here. Has the okay somehow been given to go after Nancy Pelosi like this? She used to be able to keep all their 'business' out of the public venue. Yet the past couple years have not been very kind to Pelosi at all with regards to bad publicity. Now with Gavin Newsom taking a tour of the WH at the behest of the DNC, it really makes me wonder what the heck is going on?
