President Joe Biden said he would take "strong executive action" on climate change following the apparent failure of Senate Democrats to reach a deal on major green energy legislation. The pledge is a response to news that Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, a centrist of West Virginia who has been the main holdout in Democrat-only reconciliation process, said he isn't prepared to support new climate spending and tax hikes right now because of high inflation. (Snip) He added that actions he would take "will create jobs, improve our energy security, bolster domestic manufacturing and supply chains, protect us from oil and

Climate change is a natural occurrence which takes place over hundreds of years. It has happened since the beginning of time and will keep happening. There is no way man can stop volcanoes from erupting, oceans from rising, rain from flooding and drought. The left uses it as a scare tactic and means of control and the majority of people are not concerned and do not care.

Three months ago in our quarterly list of the top 10 most likely Democratic candidates for president in 2024, we changed things up. For a while, we had been ranking only the candidates not named Joe Biden. In the seemingly unlikely scenario he didn’t run again, the idea was, here’s who would be next in line. But that scenario seemed to be growing more likely, so we decided to also include Biden on the list. The reason: There might come a time when the incumbent president isn’t the most likely nominee the next time around, for whatever reason. And his

President Joe Biden finds himself far underwater with voters, facing foreign crises and increasingly scary inflation figures — all of which attract comparisons to America's 39th president, Jimmy Carter. Carter is perhaps the president most closely associated with high inflation, and thanks to a legacy that includes a stiff 1980 primary challenge and a decisive reelection loss to Ronald Reagan, he's a president to whom no White House Democrat wants to be compared. "High inflation and rising gas prices are economic numbers that make people nervous, which tends to bring down presidential approval ratings — all of that is similar," said Robert

This accelerating trend is especially pronounced among young adults. We found that scientific theories about the unguided evolution of life have, in particular, led more people to reject belief in God than worries about suffering, disease, or death.
