The Atlantic writer Mark Leibovich called on President Biden to not seek re-election in a new opinion piece, declaring the most elderly person to ever hold the White House "too old" to stay on another six years. "Let me put this bluntly: Joe Biden should not run for re-election in 2024. He is too old," Leibovich wrote. (Snip) Biden, already the oldest president ever elected, turns 80 in November and would be 86 at the end of a hypothetical second term. Leibovich quoted one senior administration official telling him he "just seems old." Leibovich, a veteran journalist and author known

Comments:

Leibovich is a 'hate Trump' guy who apparently had no problem with a flat-lined Biden in 2020. Now that Biden is dragging down the Democrat party, they all want him ousted.

President Biden loaded first cat Willow onto the Marine One helicopter for yet another long weekend in Delaware, as first lady Jill Biden cut short her husband’s replies to questions on what most Americans are struggling with — record-high gas prices and soaring inflation. The cat, stowed in a crate, was spotted by journalists Friday being walked across the White House lawn as the chopper hummed. Biden, who on Thursday gave his first on-the-record press interview in four months, took several reporter questions before joining Willow and Jill for the trip to his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Del., including

President Biden appeared to get defensive when asked during a Thursday interview if his energy policies were to blame for inflation. In his first interview with The Associated Press, the president – running contrary to what many economists are forecasting after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates – said a recession was "not inevitable." (Snip) At the notion that his administration’s policies were responsible for the worst inflation in 40 years and record-high gas prices, the president reportedly bristled. "If it’s my fault, why is it the case in every other major industrial country in the world that inflation is

Despite a wave of negative news coverage and reports that Democrats are ready to junk President Joe Biden in 2024, he still leads all other potential challengers by a good margin. In the latest Zogby Poll, provided to Secrets today, Biden’s support among Democratic voters is 41%. His only weakness appears to be among younger voters. Former first lady Michelle Obama, who has signaled no interest in running, remains in second at 16% followed by Vice President Kamala Harris at 11%. Caterpillar Inc. said Tuesday it will move its global headquarters from Illinois to an existing divisional office in Irving, Texas, in the Dallas-Forth Worth area, in another blow to the Chicago area, which last month lost the Boeing Co. headquarters. The move is “in the best strategic interest of the company,” Chief Executive Jim Umpleby said in a statement. The heavy-machinery maker has had a presence in Texas since the 1960s, it said. Even with the move, Illinois has the largest concentration of Caterpillar employees anywhere in the world, the company said. The headquarters was historically in downstate Peoria, Ill.
