Family budgets across the country are getting crushed by high gas prices and the pain at the pump hit a new record Thursday.
"The national average price of gas in the U.S. surpassed $5 per gallon today for the first time ever, according to GasBuddy, the leading fuel savings platform saving North American drivers the most money on fuel," Gas Buddy reports.
Since March, gas prices have hit five new record highs.
“It’s been one kink after another this year, and worst of all, demand doesn’t seem to be responding to the surge in gas prices,

Don’t fret, people. It’s all part of a master plan. Theirs, not ours.

We are only 4 months away from the start of next big consumer of fossil fuels, the fall and winter months. Let’s hope that the left’s big lie, global warming, comes true so that the home owners dependent upon home heating oil and/or natural gas for warmth, hot water and cooking don’t suffer. And if a police force has exhausted its gasoline budget, think what will happen when governments and institutions have to heat municipal buildings, hospitals, schools and more along with plow trucks,
Biden and his leftists are about to cause more than our winter of discontent.

Of the many reasons that caused the defeat of Nazi Germany, a major one was that the Luftwaffe ran out of gas. This time the good guys are going to get it.

"and worst of all, demand doesn’t seem to be responding to the surge in gas prices, (a)
meaning there is a high probability that prices could go even higher"(b)
(a) There is a certain level of inelasticity in fuel demand.
after you park the RV and cancel vacation,
you still have to get to work, and move product.
(b) Demand is only one side of the Supply/Demand equation...
Increase supply, price goes... you know

The release of strategic petroleum reserves damaged national security and had an imperceptible impact on gas prices. All Biden policies are harmful to American interests.

Waiting for Joe to use the Defense Production Act to direct fuel production to be reserved for public entities, like your local police and fire and the mayor's limousine...and the military, of course. The UNIPARTY will cut more checks to cover the extra expense, supporting "our heroes". Blame Putin and Trump. Problem solved.

Demand for gasoline is, using economists' terms, relatively inelastic. Fully elastic demand is something that if the price increases, you can easily do without it, so you buy less. Ice cream or movie tickets might be examples of demand that is 'highly elastic', increase the price, demand can easily drop.
Water demand is even more "inelastic". No matter what water costs, we WILL use a certain amount. We may have to bathe less frequently, stop watering the lawn, stop washing the car, but we have to drink a certain amount, no matter the cost.
Gasoline demand is fairly inelastic. We cannot easily eliminate much of our daily travel requirements. We MUST get to work, to the grocery store, to the doctor and similar errands. We can trim a bit, but adjustments in gasoline demand take years. Buying a more economical car, moving closer to your job, setting up a car pool are all things that one might do to reduce demand for gasoline, but they can't easily happen overnight, and people resist these big changes, hoping that this anomalous price increase will end soon.
They are EVIL. They want us to be peasants. Our nice, free, comfortable lifestyle offends them. They want the American middle class crushed.
