Richard Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, told 'Morning Joe' on Wednesday that Liz Cheney Republicanism is conservative: "What we see today is that Republicans have ceased to be conservatives, and modern day Republicanism has become radicalism. It's become populist. (snip) That, to me, is obviously an unbelievably dangerous departure. (snip) Can we basically get to a point where Liz Cheney Republicanism, which by the way is extremely conservative in her policies, whether we can get back to the point that regains control of the Republican party?

In a word, no. That kind of Republican may survive in safe states and districts, but cannot win a popular vote in a national race. This is what a political party looks like when it controlled by its voters, rather than insiders, rich donors, and small cadre of coastal intelligentsia. Why would WE want that party back when we control the course of the party now?

Historically, that means a candidate convincing conservative voters that he will reduce federal spending, taxation and regulations then, once elected, refuse to do any of it and lecture their supporters about how they’re radical right wingers for having expected them to do as they said. “Liz Cheney Republicanism” is a newly fabricated term for that? “Self-serving Backstabberism” is a more truthful term, but we all know how fond politicians are of the truth. Too many of these Republicans have proven themselves less than worthless during the time I’ve followed politics, and at this point they can’t elicit shame out of me.

We hear plenty of reasons for the perfect storm that imploded California. One-party, progressive government, of course. Decades of unchecked illegal immigration, without doubt. Years of mass flight out of state of the productive middle classes, certainly. But perhaps the most important, but overlooked, reason has been the infusion of trillions of dollars of mostly tech capital into the state. Unimaginable sums of market capital warped politics and led to a top-down, feudal society, run by progressive elites who are shielded from the ramifications of their own toxic ideologies.

Euphemisms are always meant to sound true, not be true. In fact, they intentionally try to prevent people from knowing the truth. Reproductive Freedom. Women’s Healthcare. Reproductive Justice. Women’s Right to Choose. Abortion Care. It’s all just clever but cunning branding. But it has fatal consequences. “Right to life is short, catchy, composed of monosyllabic words — an important consideration in English. We need something comparable. Right to choose would seem to do the job.” These are the words in a 1972 memorandum from the late Episcopal priest, Jimmye Kimmey, who is credited with coining the deceptive phrase “pro-choice”.

Studies suggest a link between an incurable and fatal prion disease known as Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) and COVID-19 vaccines. Researchers believe the prion region from the original Wuhan COVID-19 variant’s spike protein was incorporated into mRNA vaccines and adenovirus vector vaccines — given to hundreds of millions of humans — and that it can cause a new type of rapidly progressing sporadic CJD. According to Mayo Clinic, CJD is a degenerative brain disorder that leads to dementia and, ultimately, death. Although the Omicron variant does not have a prion region on its spike protein, current COVID-19 vaccines still use the genetic material — including the prion region — of the parent Wuhan strain.
