Update 6/8/2022 3:00 p.m. Eastern: Three hours after first trying to claim the attempted assassin of Justice Brett Kavanaugh didn't have a weapon "at all," CNN's Whitney Wild finally admitted on-air that the man had a gun, a knife, and other gear to carry out the killing. More below. After taking over an hour to get to the major breaking story of the day Wednesday – the attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh at his home earlier that morning – CNN’s At This Hour tried to downplay the incident by suggesting the man wasn’t armed “at all” and tried to claim there were threats from “both sides” of the political

The guy comes from Ca., takes a taxi to a SC Justice's house, and is armed with a handgun, knife, and pepper spray. There is more evidence in his possession, as he planned and researched this trip. And then there's this, he tells the FBI he came to kill a SC Justice, because of the Roe memo.

#2, and exactly where did the firearm come from? Did he take it on the plane with him? Did someone in DC/Maryland/Virginia provide it to him when he was on the ground? Where did it come from?

Another fine example of why I call it the Clown New Network. She tried so hard to excuse, justify or rationalize the person's attempted murder of a sitting justice. I can only speculate that her producer was helping her with the story they wanted to tell. Article says the gun and tactical gear was in his suitcase, but did the drive there, or did he arrive on an airplane? Did he violate any DC gun laws in this process too? Her reckless comments is partly why people are feeling they need to "do something". Trust we'll hear about all of the websites this person was viewing, who he was listening to, and why he felt he needed to do something about the possible Roe decision when he lives in California where it will remain legal even if Roe is overturned which means he likely has not heard that considering the campaign ads being run by Democrats on this issue, and the media not reporting the facts. After all, Gov. Newsom boasts of California being an abortion sanctuary for the rest of the country - imagine.

Now if someone had threatened me near my home, the cops wouldn't do a darn thing. Might have busted the guy for possession of a weapon, but nothing else. He didn't DO anything else. Why is my life less important than a judge?

Reactions to Jan. 6 Presentation Indicate

If the Democrats thought that the reaction to the Jan. 6 Committee was going to be riveting, the reaction so far from a variety of quarters says not so much. CNN’s Chris Wallace expressed skepticism that the Committee was going to produce anything of worth. “I’m kind of skeptical about what we’re going to see tonight and over the next couple of weeks,” Wallace said on CNN minutes before the hearing was set to begin. Wallace said the committee had put itself in danger of falling victim to too much “hype” about its findings and “over-selling” what they have to tell the American people about the attack.

Yesterday we learned that the suspect in the attempted murder of Justice Kavanaugh showed up at his home with bags containing a gun, a knife, pepper spray, zip ties and tools to break into his house. He told investigators he wanted to give his life purpose by killing Kavanaugh (before killing himself). Today, media outlets have gotten hold of the two 911 calls that Roske made shortly after he arrived. He made two calls. The first one was about a minute and ended when he couldn’t tell the dispatcher exactly where he was located. But he called back a moment later, gave an address and spoke

Joe Biden and the Democrats don’t want to have to talk about policies or any of the real issues afflicting the country right now. Because if they did, the focus would be on all their failures. That’s why they want the focus now to be on the Jan. 6 Committee and the show trial that they want to sell you. Not only is it a show trial, it even has a producer, as my colleague Jeff Charles reported, like any TV drama — according to Axios, “James Goldston — former president of ABC News, and a documentary storyteller who ran ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘Nightline’ —

The push to re-send the letter is the result of a partnership between Levi’s and Mike Bloomberg-affiliated Everytown for Gun Safety. Joe Biden was speaking at the Summit of the Americas on Thursday. As we’ve already noted, it hasn’t been going well. Biden stumbled up the stairs as he was boarding Air Force One for Los Angeles. Then, Biden was met by a protester rushing the motorcade who had to be subdued. Meanwhile, a lot of the countries didn’t show up because of the poor way that the Biden team dealt with the event. While objecting to the human rights violations of Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela is a good thing and we should encourage that, how weak is it if

Let me quote myself from a post published May 8 about the danger of people showing up at the justices’ homes: “[I]n the current political context, a fanatic has more motive to kill one of the Court’s conservatives than just satiating his or her rage. Doing so would provide a strategic benefit to the pro-choice side. Congress should give them all the bodyguards they need, and then some.” When you have reason to believe that five justices have signed onto overturning Roe but the decision hasn’t been handed down yet, that’s an incentive to take one of those votes away by any means necessary. Especially since a Democratic president

Biden spoke with reporters on his way to California for the Summit of the Americas, even as some of the leaders of prominent Latin American countries refused to attend. The establishment media has grown more skeptical of Biden’s efforts to help reduce inflation, lower gas prices, and solve the baby formula shortage that has plagued his administration.

The man who traveled to Maryland to try to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh has been identified as Nicholas John Roske, from Simi Valley, California. He apparently made it to Justice Kavanaugh’s house before being apprehended: Nicholas John Roske, 26, of Simi Valley, Calif., was charged with attempted murder after two U.S. deputy marshals saw him step out of a taxicab in front of the justice’s house in Chevy Chase, Md., early Wednesday morning, federal prosecutors said. Mr. Roske was dressed in black and carrying a suitcase and a backpack, according to a federal affidavit. Among them were such heated topics as debates over the coronavirus pandemic and efficacy of vaccines, and what Homeland Security described as “conspiracy theories about the validity and security of elections.” The documents also suggested the board would play the role of policy cop at Homeland Security,

It wasn’t that long ago when the left’s narrative on ‘gay rights’ was simple, straightforward, and easy to support: Let’s all be tolerant of one another, live and let live, and don’t discriminate. Tolerance is, after all, one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy which drove America’s founding. But as the saying goes, “give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile,” which is the situation in which we find ourselves today. The message of ‘tolerance’ eventually morphed into ‘acceptance.’ At some point late in the Obama Administration, our culture decided that it was inadequate to merely tolerate the shenanigans of the LGBTQ community, we needed to welcome them.

Speculation is rife concerning the possible presidential candidates representing the two major parties as the nation approaches the 2024 elections. Everyone has an opinion, and the pundits are competing in the expertise sweepstakes. What can we say with some degree of plausibility? Biden, who speaks in tongues, is plainly beyond redeeming; the question is whether he will manage to survive the year, let alone stumble, lollop, and whiffle to the end of his first term. Kamala Harris belongs in vaudeville or farce, given her talent for provoking laughter. Both will have to be retired in favor of an electable candidate. But who?

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nearly a year since its inception, the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol will go public with its findings starting this week as lawmakers hope to show the American public how democracy came to the brink of disaster. The series of hearings that will take place over the next several weeks begin with a prime-time session Thursday night in which the nine-member panel plans to give an overview of its 11-month investigation. More than 1,000 people have been interviewed by the panel, and only snippets of that testimony have been revealed to the public, mostly through court filings.
