Gunmaker Daniel Defense Hit With First

In the wake of the tragic massacre in Uvalde, Texas, in May that took the lives of 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary School, it was probably inevitable that people would seek to lay blame for the shooting through the legal system. And just over a week later, that process has begun, according to NPR. "A speech pathology clerk who hid during the May 24, 2022 massacre at Robb Elementary has started court proceedings against Savannah, Georgia-based gunmaker Daniel Defense. It is the first reported legal action taken as a result of the mass shooting, which killed 21 children [sic] and two adults. While not a full-blown lawsuit,

The GUNMAKER did it. Is there no one in the whole State of Georgia who can get to the bottom of why those policemen behaved with such indifference? Especially, since some of them went into the school and rescued their own children! That strikes me as pretty evil intent.

Will the families of those that were murdered in Waukesha be suing the manufacturer of the SUV that was used ? Of course not because a very sick person made a conscience decision to kill . A person , not a car and not a gun.

If this is successful, every car manufacturer will be liable for the deaths the car caused. The driver would be exonerated because the car did it. What a bunch of idiots.

The name of the Company and their Products are "Daniel DEFENSE"....they are suing them for assaults, the exact opposite of the company's name and focus. NONE of their products fit the legal description of "Assault" weapons. I'm not sure that a frikk'n coward that ran and hid while children were being killed is the "Right Person" to initiate this suit either. So far unmentioned by the In Depth Media Coverage is...The brand, types and caliber of the Guns used to STOP the crazed baby killer. The cops fired 37 rounds in a matter of seconds, which is how long the entire episode would have lasted if a teacher or three had THOSE guns.

I'm not a lawyer but with TWO different long guns involved, won't the plaintiff's attorney have to have have forensic analysis performed on the lethal projectiles to determine EXACTLY which victim(s) were killed by the weapon manufactured by the defendant, Daniel Defense? Will they have to exhume the bodies of the children to recover those projectiles or has that already been accomplished through autopsy? And if they have not already been recovered, can an attorney secure a court order for exhumation in a civil case?

#7, the lawsuit may be a diversion. The "teacher" who left the door open was reported to be a speech pathologist. So this may be a blame-shifting move. The psycho shooter is the one to blame, but there are several adults who may be suffering guilt from their own actions on that day and who are susceptible to ambulance-chasing lawyers.

Guns Are Not the Problem 5 replies

In the wake of recent mass shootings in New York, Texas, and Oklahoma, Democrats are once again sending Americans up a blind alley. Their “solution” is to punish millions of law-abiding gun owners for the crimes of a few evil maniacs. Undeniably, there is a certain appeal to this response. Gun control is a facile “fix” to a complex problem. Americans have owned guns since the founding, but it wasn’t until comparatively recently that mass shootings became a concern. Guns are not the problem. Our culture is. Broken cultures produce broken human beings. For every school shooter, there are thousands of other weak, confused, mentally disturbed men
U.S. Seeks Jerusalem Consulate For Palestinians 6 replies

The US State Department once again is resuscitating the idea of reopening a Jerusalem consulate. But according to Al-Arabiya, the US is committed to the reopening of the US consulate in Jerusalem. Ned Price, the State Department spokesman told reporters last Tuesday that, “We continue to believe it can be an important way for our country to engage with and provide support for the Palestinian people.” If that is to happen, the Biden administration will be responsible for rewarding the Palestinians for their intransigence and terror, as well as undermining Israel’s sovereignty over a united Jerusalem. The Bennett government is very much against

There was a major problem with the 2020 Census, and most people probably haven’t heard about it, even though it has enormous implications. At the end of May, the Census Bureau admitted that it miscounted 14 states in the 2020 Census. Why didn’t the media make a big stink about this story? Maybe it was overshadowed by the recent mass shootings, that’s certainly a possibility, but I have another theory. Here are the states that the Census acknowledged it overcounted: Hawaii, Delaware, Rhode Island, Minnesota, New York, and Massachusetts. Here are the states that the Census acknowledged it undercounted: Texas, Illinois, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Well, gee, isn’t that interesting.

Two of the senators leading the bipartisan negotiations on gun reform legislation advised against President Joe Biden getting involved in their talks. In separate interviews Sunday, Sens. Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Pat Toomey (R-PA) rejected the suggestion that including the commander in chief would be useful to their efforts. Asked on CNN's State of the Union whether Biden's involvement would be helpful, Murphy said that the current talks should continue being led by lawmakers on Capitol Hill, rather than the White House. "I think the Senate needs to do this ourselves," the Connecticut Democrat said. "I have talked to the White House every single day since these negotiations began,

In fact, let's also repeal the National Firearms Act and impose national constitutional carry. I think this compromise fairly balances our respective legitimate interests regarding guns. Our legitimate interest is maintaining the capacity to deter and defeat tyrants and criminals. Your legitimate interest in limiting our ability to do so is non-existent. There are several Republicans who are apparently eager to come to a compromise on guns with the Democrats, whose ultimate goal is to

She is now working on election integrity issues for the Conservative Partnership Institute. Whenever I see a child who has clearly been corrupted by adults with LGBTQ agendas, I get angry at the kid’s father. Did he abandon his children to the full-time attentions of a deranged mother? Is he present but too whipped to be a strong father? What man would allow such a thing to be done to his son or daughter? Yes, the mother enrages me as well, but a society in which real men exist would never allow the over-the-top grooming and wholesale destruction of childhood innocence that goes on these days. Some observers say Turkish Recep Erdogan is once again using migrants as a political weapon against Greece as at least 40,000 people so far this year have been been turned away at the border. The Greek Coast Guard has intercepted around 40,000 migrants attempting to enter the country from Turkey via the Aegean Sea. “In the first four months of 2022, about 40,000 migrants tried to enter the country illegally,” Civil Protection Minister Takis Theodorikakos revealed. I haven’t written much about the latest round of gun control hysteria, mostly because I have said everything I have to say on that topic many times over the years. The liberal solutions to mass shooting incidents, which are very rare, are every bit as silly and ineffective as their solutions to crime in general, which is ubiquitous and therefore vastly more important. Defunding the police makes about as much sense as banning some arbitrarily selected category of firearm. Neither measure will do anything to stem the tide of crime and violence that has swept over us. The National Rifle Association has a great deal more expertise
