No Compromise on Guns

Original Article

Here is my proposed gun control compromise following the latest attack on children that millions of us did not commit. Ready? You gun fascists can kiss my Schumer and we keep our guns. In fact, let's also repeal the National Firearms Act and impose national constitutional carry. I think this compromise fairly balances our respective legitimate interests regarding guns. Our legitimate interest is maintaining the capacity to deter and defeat tyrants and criminals. Your legitimate interest in limiting our ability to do so is non-existent. There are several Republicans who are apparently eager to come to a compromise on guns with the Democrats, whose ultimate goal is to

You think you have bodies in the streets now, wait until the feds send their stooges out to grab guns from law-abiding patriots. Remember, most of us were trained by the military when it was a real military, not a sexually-confused bunch of fatboy Vindmans. You won't hear the one that gets you.

Because it is not guns you are compromising on. You are splitting the difference on your right to self defense. Only a fool would do that.

The last people I will listen to are Joe Biden and Generals active or retired. When they think opposite than me along with our Constitution I know why. Like the writer mentioned they will be the ones confiscating the guns. The new mantra 'weapons of war', really? Have you ever seen WWII footage of Germans with their weapons of war rifles? Bolt action caliber 8mm Mausers just like my deer rifle. My deer rifle is more deadly than the 22 caliber AR-15. Once the AR-15 is banned my deer rifle is next then my pellet air rifle. You don't compromise with the left or get squishy or nice with them. They don't know what they are talking about only wanting to stomp on the 2nd amendment talking away our rights. They fear us when they should fear the school shooters and murderers.

FTA: "You can be sure there are GOP dummies just aching to, held back only by Mitch McConnell – the frustrating Murder Turtle who nevertheless is no dummy – whispering in their ears that screwing us over on guns is just about the only thing that can turn an electoral environment of $6 a gallon gas and public school groomers into a Republican rout." And that's the name of that tune. Instead, Mitch, et al, will throw money at more expensive useless school cops to roam the halls because that generates "safety" for kids in greater danger from lightning strikes. Arm teachers, another genius idea, turning our schools into armed camps for the youngsters to grow in. Harden schools to prevent entry by the unauthorized when one could simply lock doors. Billions here and there...spent and respent annually...it's only money and the boobs will feel so much better and safer. But everyone will keep their AR-15s and both sides of the gun control theatre will keep their money-raising issues on which to fatten accounts.

As the late Margaret Thatcher said, “Now is not the time to go all wobbly.” I’ve not seen Trump’s response to Biden’s speech where he calls for banning certain guns and magazines. Revoking a Nobel prize is far less important.

Re #13, sometimes that is totally justified. I read the back story in that one how that captured VC terrorist had just shot down a family minutes before. The South VN general with his pistol made certain that he would never do it again. Sometimes that is the right answer. Good control on that gun, looks like. Proper gun control.

It is no surprise that Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) dislikes President Donald Trump. After all, no man has done more to denigrate the Iraq/Afghan War strategy that her father crusaded for than Trump. He not only opposed Cheney’s approach to war, but he also mocked it mercilessly. As the former Vice President’s oldest daughter, with her own dose of less charm and less savvy, Liz Cheney has now entered on her own crusade. She stands athwart the House floor denouncing Trump, all his pomps, and all his evil works. Instead of Holy Water, she will sprinkle the tears of fellow Republican failure Rep. Of all the crazy policies we see implemented around us, from decriminalizing theft to teaching children to change their “gender,” perhaps the craziest is government’s determination to force us to drive electric vehicles. EVs like the Tesla are perfectly fine cars, or would be if they weren’t subsidized or mandated. But they are terrible for the environment, and the conditions under which their materials are mined raise serious ethical questions. Ronald Stein makes excellent points in his column titled “Is it ethical to purchase a lithium battery powered EV?” "The lower image is just one lithium supply mine where entire mountains are

Readers are encouraged to propose additional definitions and terms in the comment thread, and we’ll update this lexicon from time to time. Populism: When the wrong person or cause wins a free election, like Brexit, Trump, or a Soros DA recall. Racism: Any opposition to the agenda of the left. Democracy: Any institutional design or voting system that enables the left to get what it wants. Threat to democracy: When Republicans win an election. Equality: Outmoded idea from the Declaration of Independence.

In April, a black nationalist terrorist named Frank James opened fire on the downtown N subway train in Manhattan. While the racist gunman had a large stockpile of weapons, he happened to use a Glock pistol that he had bought over ten years ago. Now Glock is being sued. James bought the gun in Columbus, Ohio in 2011. So he quite clearly didn’t purchase it, intending to shoot up a New York City subway train. Nevertheless the lawsuit blames the gunmaker for having "contributed to creating and maintaining a public nuisance in the State of New York" even though the gun wasn't even sold in New York.

It turns out coffee bean reserves have plunged to their lowest since the 2000s. …Stockpiles of high-end Arabica beans, a favourite of artisan coffee shops and chains such as Starbucks, totalled 1.078 million bags, or about 143 million pounds, according to data released Monday by the ICE Futures US exchange.” Brazil is the world’s top coffee producer. By the 1820’s it was already producing thirty percent of the world’s coffee. Today, it produces a third of the world’s coffee with 40 to 60 million bags annually.

It wasn’t that long ago when the left’s narrative on ‘gay rights’ was simple, straightforward, and easy to support: Let’s all be tolerant of one another, live and let live, and don’t discriminate. Tolerance is, after all, one of the fundamental tenets of the philosophy which drove America’s founding. But as the saying goes, “give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile,” which is the situation in which we find ourselves today. The message of ‘tolerance’ eventually morphed into ‘acceptance.’ At some point late in the Obama Administration, our culture decided that it was inadequate to merely tolerate the shenanigans of the LGBTQ community, we needed to welcome them.
