I have no gay pride. I don’t have gay hatred either. I simply don’t care very much. (snip) I bet most people, like me, dislike the annual barrage of mandatory love for the LGBTQ+++ crowd and especially dislike the industry that’s sprung up around confusing kids about their biological and then giving them expensive, mutilating surgery and toxic drugs. These same people almost certainly don’t make up NASCAR’s fan base. Corporate NASCAR, however, has decided to stand with the LGBTQ++ activists. (snip) NASCAR, though, has been having a bit of a problem keeping fans.

It's a shame Big Bill isn't still around to give his offspring a swift kick in the pants. There's a reason why family owned businesses rarely survive the third generation, and the current crop of France Family members are proving why.

My DH was a fanatical NASCAR fan when I met him in the early 90s. Not anymore. There were a lot of little things, but Bubba Wallance and the "noose" controversy was the final straw.

"Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations," an old friend used to say about blown fortunes. The France family isn't immune. After being a big NASCAR fan in the late '70s and early '80s who even drove down and camped out before Sunday races at Talladega and Atlanta, I transitioned to Formula 1 and IMSA (Le Mans, Sebring, Daytona, etc.), and that's where I have remained. Formula 1 represents the pinnacle of technology in racing. And F1 races at Spa Francorchamps!

NASCAR, going down hill faster than a freakin roller coaster. Sad part is most people respect the personal life of another person. Do what you want in your home or with your life. So far so good. Then when you give them a foot, they take a mile. Now is where you have to draw the line. You can do what you want but when you start going after children and start pushing your sick perverted agenda down our throats, it's push back time. Now it's overboard. Now I'm done with NASCAR for caving to the insanity of a group of people who care nothing about you or your children but all about themselves and their sick perverted lifestyle. Get it yet...

Nascar is doing everything they can to drive away their fans. Pandering to homosexuals, insisting on homogeneity with the cars, stage racing, holding races in places where people don't care, more road courses, dumping dirt on asphalt tracks. They're grasping at every shiny object they see and it's not working. Let car builders build their cars and drivers drive on oval tracks and get the suits out of the way.

Liberals HATE everything about us. People who hate obsessively like that work hard to ruin EVERYTHING that gives the hated any joy. Businessmen work very hard, notmally, to placate democrat politicians, because Republicans don't generally hate like that, and won't try to desyroy you if you don't kowtow. Democrats attract and enhance the sociopathic elements in society. Which also includes pedophiles, sexually obsessed and serial killers.

I used to ADORE everything Nascar. The drivers, the crew chiefs, and the crews were amazing. Taking one half a pound per square inch of pressure on just one of the rear tires to adjust to changing track conditions was, yes, fascinating. Even when they made every car look the same, with the idiotic pre-race template that each car had to comply, the drivers, crews, and chiefs still made it interesting. Strategic decisions, such as when to pit, how long to pit (2 tires vs 4 tires) gambling with NOT pitting near the end of the race, and trying to stretch out a tank of gas until the end. All these made it very interesting. Not any more. They have taken something that filled our hearts with joy, and made it just one more thing to avoid.

Why Democrats Want to Get Rid of the Suburbs 4 replies

The war on America's suburbs has opened a new front. Buried in President Biden's proposed budget for 2023 is a $10-billion bribe for suburban communities to remove zoning barriers to high-density housing. (snip) It is a strong signal to Democrat-controlled states to gear up the decades-long efforts to bludgeon affluent communities into submitting to "housing justice" and providing their "fair share." Hunter Biden is one of the most deeply disturbed, even revolting, people known to the American public. Yet Miranda Devine, at the New York Post, says there’s evidence that the person on whom Joe Biden is relying for political advice isn’t his wife, chief of staff, or former boss, despite what everyone thinks. Instead, it’s Hunter Biden. That would certainly explain both why and how our country is going so quickly to Hell in a handbasket. It's almost impossible to exaggerate just what an appalling man Hunter Biden is.

She refers to voters who question the results of the 2020 presidential election as "kooks, crooks, and freaks" and then smears the citizens who went to Washington, D.C. January 6, 2021 as "[t]hose poor stupid people." What is the basis for this criticism, which, arguably, is less ad hominem and, more accurately, descriptive of her mindset? Perhaps Ms. Noonan has not read Margot Cleveland's analysis in The Federalist showing how Georgia election officials failed to enforce the state's election laws in 2020.
