“Here is the letter. Addressed to my wife, sent to my home, threatening the life of my family,” the Illinois congressman posted Sunday on his Twitter account.
The unhinged note, addressed to Kinzinger’s wife, Sofia, begins: “That pimp you married not only broke his oath, he sold his soul.”
The letter then goes on to chillingly warn her husband would be “executed.”

The Republican Party of Florida gave the nation a “little taste of Florida freedom” last Saturday at a wildly successful “first in the nation” flotilla to honor Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), Christian Ziegler, vice chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, told Breitbart News during the event.
Roughly 1,300 boats registered for the event as individuals donned their vessels with patriotic flags, making their way down the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis staked his claim Thursday as the first governor in America not to provide state support for vaccinating younger kids against COVID-19.

Naperville police released a graphic video Tuesday that shows a veteran Naperville police officer fatally shooting a 28-year-old Naperville man who came at him with a hatchet on June 3.
Police said the officer was conducting a traffic stop around 11 a.m. on June 3 near the intersection of Bond Street and McDowell Road when another vehicle pulled up and a man armed with a hatchet got out and charged the officer.
The officer, who is a 22-year veteran with the department, fired six shots, striking 28-year-old Edward C. Samaan, police said.

In her June 18/19 column at the Wall Street Journal, Ms. Noonan takes Hillary Clinton's "deplorables" slap at Trump voters and goes one — nay, two better. She refers to voters who question the results of the 2020 presidential election as "kooks, crooks, and freaks" and then smears the citizens who went to Washington, D.C. January 6, 2021 as "[t]hose poor stupid people."
What is the basis for this criticism, which, arguably, is less ad hominem and, more accurately, descriptive of her mindset?

Near the end of an especially tumultuous week in his tumultuous presidency, Joe Biden gave his first media interview in four months to someone who wasn’t a late-night comedian. For a public hungering for answers, it wasn’t worth the wait.
The president chose The Associated Press and the sit-down lasted a little less than 30 minutes, but that was more than enough time for him to demonstrate again he’s got no new ideas or even a new way of packaging old ideas.
Biden acknowledges America is in a funk, but shows no sense of compassion or determination to turn the tide.
Multiple people including a police officer were shot at a social justice-inspired musical festival in Washington DC. The officer was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, police confirmed. The conditions of the other victims remain unknown at this time. The shooting took place Sunday evening near the intersection of 14th and U Street NW, where the Moechella music festival, a Juneteenth celebration, was underway.(Snip)Video shared on Twitter showed revellers twerking on top of cars as shots rang out, forcing people to flee for cover. So, this photo of Jill and Joe’s fall got me thinking… These two don’t ride bikes for real, do they? They just do this stuff for quick PR points and photo ops. Maybe 10 minutes once or twice a year, because if Hoe was this “avid biker” we’re told he is, he’d know how his peddles work. And if Jill was this super bicyclist, she’d know how to keep her helmet on straight. The point is, these are two the of fakest people on the planet, and everything they do is staged and fake. But for the record, I don’t think Joe actually fell because of the peddles. I think his motor skills are long hone, thanks to his advanced dementia.
