Former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman's inquiry into the 2020 presidential election has reportedly been halted amid several lawsuits over his investigation. While his investigation into the election is paused, Gableman's $11,000 monthly salary will be halved to $5,500, and he will receive a $2,500 monthly stipend to pay for rent, General Assembly Speaker Robin Vos announced Wednesday, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "Until we win those lawsuits, you know, we are pausing the investigation because it's not like we're going to keep looking into things we've already discovered," Vos, a Republican, said.

This Article says Gableman's "inquiry" (interesting description) is being paused because of 5 lawsuits, but does not explain how these suits individually, or collectively, are preventing continuation of the inquiry. None of these suits enjoin the inquiry. Some by their very nature should have miniscule, if any, effect on the inquiry. Hopefully Gableman is not being beaten into submission by 1,000 cuts.

I’m always hearing about “standing” involving lawsuits and I thought that was a way to weed out the nuisance suits. More BS to keep the truth from being found out.

Where was Robin Vos and the REPUBLICAN Wisconsin legislature when it mattered? Why did the legislature allow unquestioned certification of Biden electors on 30 November - did Vos, et al, have no doubts? This investigation began in May '21. CYA.

Former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos ridiculed His Fraudulency Joe Biden and his “Disinformation Board” Friday over an absurd tweet about inflation.A little after six p.m. Friday night, probably an hour or so after the real Joe Biden had fallen asleep in front of a Murder She Wrote rerun, I’m assuming it was a White House staffer who used Biden’s verified Twitter account to spread this ridiculous lie:“You want to bring down inflation?” the tweet reads. “Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”Whuh?Granted, I’m no economist, but I know of no correlation between inflation and tax increases. In fact, inflation is caused primarily by the government’s wasteful spending,

Justice Clarence Thomas on Friday compared the leak of fellow Justice's Samuel Alito's draft opinion, which would overturn abortion protections under Roe v Wade, to 'infidelity.' Thomas, 73, said at a conference that the leak would weaken the public's trust in the Supreme Court as an institution, calling the unauthorized disclosure of deliberations 'tremendously bad.' In his remarks, the conservative justice, who has long called for overturning Roe, hinted that a liberal clerk may have leaked Alito's draft opinion, and lamented that partisan rancor has grown more entrenched on the high court.

Liberal, Democratic Party-aligned strategists, pollsters, and think tank experts spent six months coming up with the “ultra MAGA” label that President Joe Biden has begun to deploy against Republicans ahead of a difficult midterm election. The Washington Post reported Friday: Biden’s attempt to appropriate the “MAGA” brand as a political attack was hardly accidental. It arose from a six-month research project to find the best way to target Republicans, helmed by Biden adviser Anita Dunn and by the Center for American Progress Action Fund, a liberal group.

It’s just not the case he has brought against bigshot Democratic Party lawyer Michael Sussmann.Jury selection begins in Sussmann’s trial on Monday, in Washington, DC. It will be the first trial to arise out of the Russiagate probe, which began over three years ago. That’s when former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr assigned Durham, a longtime Justice Department prosecutor from Connecticut, to investigate how, in the middle of a heated presidential campaign and based upon scant evidence, the FBI came to suspect one of the candidates of being a clandestine agent of the Kremlin —
