Special Counsel John Durham appears to have methodically built a case of historic consequence. It’s just not the case he has brought against bigshot Democratic Party lawyer Michael Sussmann.Jury selection begins in Sussmann’s trial on Monday, in Washington, DC. It will be the first trial to arise out of the Russiagate probe, which began over three years ago. That’s when former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr assigned Durham, a longtime Justice Department prosecutor from Connecticut, to investigate how, in the middle of a heated presidential campaign and based upon scant evidence, the FBI came to suspect one of the candidates of being a clandestine agent of the Kremlin —

FTA: Durham will have enough evidence to prove the narrow crime he’s charged. The biggest challenge may be the jury in Trump-hostile Washington. Durham may be the government’s lawyer, but this will not be a home game for him.
So true.

I feel that even the democrats are starting to feel the pain that this administration has caused to everyone in the U.S. Durham may not have to look far for people to indict. What I hope for is Durham to expose Obama and his people in this mess. I would love to see them serve time.

The Obama appointed judge keeps ruling evidence Durham has cannot be revealed to the jury. Looks like Sussman probably skates.

Justices, Berman-Jackson, Reggie Walton, Emmett Sullivan and now Cooper are the Beet Juice stain on the Federal Judiciary. These low-life Democrat Hacks could NEVER pass the smell test when it comes to integrity and ethics.

I'm sure this will be a teachable moment for the deep state, further sharpening their sleazy skills at how to entrap innocent people while keeping themselves out of harms way. Unless, of course, Sussman and others are convicted and receive prison sentences...

The most over rated position in our country today is that of "Special Prosecutor".
How many have investigated the Clintons since the 1980's and what have been the results. If a Judge can overrule any evidence in a Special Prosecutor's case before a trial even begins..please tell me what have the millions of tax payer dollars spent on these investigations done for Americans other than fodder for the news world.

The evidence will overwhelmingly point to guilt. No one will be prosecuted. (See Charlie Brown's football.)

The first thing Durham should do is...ask for a change of venue to Iowa...far away from the reach of the corrupt Washington toads...and the FBI goons...I must stop at the Piggly Wiggly and buy some more popcorn...this is gonna be a show...

#8, waaaaaaaay too late to seek a change in venue, and there likely weren’t any grounds for one to start with. The crimes took place in DC, the Defendant lives in the area, and so the trial would have to be there. While I suppose it’s theoretically possible for the prosecution to claim a specific venue is so prejudiced in favor of the Defendant that no fair trial could be had there (As in, for example, a few Civil Rights-Era prosecutions), the change of venue remedy is overwhelmingly for the benefit of the accused.

(Now, if Durham had charged a larger conspiracy, he could have selected a better venue, and tried all the defendants there. Such is the problem with the incremental, minimalist approach.)

Expect more "Arkancide" cases.
I saw the name "Cooper" as one of the Sussman judges? If that "Cooper" is any relation to the Cooper's of TN, it will be one crooked trial.

Durham has "methodically" played his role in a kabuki theater. In a war of metaphors, let's say Sussman, a little fish, has been thrown under the bus or thrown to the wolves. In the meantime, American toffs, fat, sleek and wearing designer pantsuits still holding political ambitions, or their friends in the FBI clad in $3k bespoke business suits (under full pensions) swim through MSM garbage happily unhooked, smiling and unafraid. The Bidens remember Leona Helmsley and take to heart "only the little people pay taxes."

I hope that something will actually come of this. However, I remain skeptical, while hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
Until about a couple or three dozen of top FBI, DoJ and CIA leaders go to prison for YEARS, nothing will change, this sort of criminal, treasonous conspiracy will be the new normal in DC.

It's an interesting look at the details.
I still think that the FBI thugs-in-charge were extreme leftists and corrupt insiders who hated Trump on their own and did the whole thing because it offered a great chance to use the government powers to batter someone who wanted to reverse years of slide into more leftist corruption in DC.
The FBI top leadership was totally dirty in this whole treasonous mess, and they still are today.
