AJ was donning his Derby threads (orange in support of the Vols) when he went to the race over the weekend. While there, AJ also picked out a ticket for Rich Strike, the horse who pulled out a comeback victory during the race. I went through the link, thinking there was much more in article. Alas and regretfully, no. This tone of reporting, of human interest stories particularly, was the stock-in-trade of the papers and periodicals I read growing up. Am I more stable, less prone to aggravation and violence, than people who consume today's "journalistic" fare? Can't say but I'm old as black pepper, old as dirt, and I've never killed or seriously harmed another out of anger. Yet
