President Joe Biden’s Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen, said Tuesday that making abortion illegal would be bad for the economy.Yellen was asked by Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez during a Senate hearing about the economic impact of the Supreme Court’s reported decision to undo Roe v. Wade, opening a path for states to impose increased restrictions on abortion. Yellen said that legalized abortion helped women make more money and participate in the labor force.WATCH: (Video) “I believe that eliminating the right of women to make decisions about when and whether to have children would have very damaging effects on the economy, and would set women back decades,” Yellen said.

Black women make up around 3.5% of the Gen Pop., approx 1/2 of that is "Breeding age", ergo 1.25-1.5% of over all pop., yet account for 40% of all abortions. equal to approx. 250,000 per year. Equivalent to an entire Reno, Nev., Ft. Wayne, Ind., St Pete Fla., Norfolk Va., Winston Salem, NC, every single year.... Half of those are female fetuses.
Over ten years? An entire Chicago, or an entire Houston...that would be entirely black.
THAT is what Democrats really want, same as Sanger originally did.Fewer Black People.

Anyone over 60 from Ivory tower should not be allowed to work in the Government. They are all brown nosers and have no clue how the real world lives

More black women in NYC got an abortion than gave birth and kept the baby. So I think there is ample access.

Margaret Sanger would be pleased. She wanted all of them dead.
And some say that the crime rate is lower because of it. If they had fathers, I don't think this would be the case, but what percentage of black kids have an actual married-to-mother, live in the house father these days?
Some sadly too low number.

Nobody's reproductive rights are being taken away. Women and men still have access to birth control. Most women use some form of birth control and nobody is taking about taking it away. Now, if a person is too irresponsible to not use birth control and be sexually active; you made your choice. If you get pregnant you live with the consequences. Its not like you didn't know what could happen. Be responsible! Abortion is mot health care.

FTA: "I believe that eliminating the right of women to make decisions about when and whether to have children would have very damaging effects on the economy,"
Since when does anyone from the Biden fiasco give a damn about the Economy? They've all done the ir best to destroy it thus far.
I gotta figure that without Planned Parenthood, there would be at least 30 millions more Black people in America than there are now. A case is made for Planned Parenthood too be called a genocidal organization.

Following the leak of the SC's draft opinion of its Mississippi abortion decision, has anyone heard on TV any reference to birth control? It's as if birth control does not exist.

What is she talking about? A woman has a choice to get pregnant in the vast majority of instances. There are multiple ways to prevent pregnancy such as a shot that lasts 5 years, the pill or the word "No". If all that fails there is the morning after pill and abortion in the first trimester. These democrats only know bomb throwing when something doesn't go their way.

Birth control is FREE under 0bamacare, so there’s no excuse for not using it.
I would think that more babies being born would be good for the economy - I have 2 grandkids and it’s amazing the amount of equipment that’s required to take care of them. Not to mention that they will grow up to participate in society.

Tim Scott's editorial says it all - "hope and opportunity". The story of hard fought for opportunity and achievement for black people in the past 70 years is remarkable and should be what is noted in history as we, collectively, enjoy the rights and freedoms of this country. Instead, so many "accomplished" people and "achievers" themselves, keep that race/victim card on the table and allow pathetic elitists to convince them of what they can't do, rather than what they can. These folks are building back a wall that was gone and it is sad...
