Elon Musk has revealed that he would reverse Twitter's permanent ban of Donald Trump if he completes his $44 billion acquisition of the social media platform. Speaking virtually at a conference in London on Tuesday, Musk said that Twitter's move to ban the former US president 'was a morally bad decision and foolish in the extreme'. 'I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump,' added Musk, specifically addressing Trump's removal from Twitter for the first time since launching his takeover of the company last month. Trump was banned from Twitter in January 2021,

I always had mixed feelings about Musk. I have zero interest in EVER having an electric vehicle, despise those damned cars. OTOH, his space adventures, which I was initially a bit skeptical of, have proven to be quite impressive indeed. And now - his moves to support free speech, THOSE are brave and good. For me moves the needle from the middle to "support" side for sure. I still don't ever want an EV.

Elon, just reinstate Trump's account on Twitter. Then leave it up to him if he wants to go back and use it. But yes, same as #1, I have no interest in your ecar. They are basically useless in Colorado.

No Books. No Money. Just the Truth. That's the title of the meandering Substack post Steve Schmidt threw up last week at the tail end of a two-day Twitter bender. In that time, he didn't take more than an hour away from the keyboard, tapping out stilted and overwrought attacks against the late war hero John McCain and his daughter, Meghan.Since then, he's widened the aperture, lashing out at the living, from Republican lawmakers (New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts) to journalists (Maggie Haberman, Matt Lewis, Jonah Goldberg) and another subset of former colleagues (sorry, Lincoln Project).

Fairfax County’s school board has long prided itself on leading the way for the nation in cutting-edge education policy and curriculum. As the tenth-largest district in the nation, it holds disproportionate sway over other school boards. In 2015, the Fairfax school board blindsided parents with changes to its non-discrimination policy, followed by a sweeping expansion of the sex-ed curriculum and new rules governing student offenses and penalties.
