Elon Musk’s Tesla is covering travel costs for employees who get out-of-state abortions, joining the ranks of several other companies that have introduced similar reimbursement policies in the wake of multiple states passing pro-life legislation.
Since 2021, Tesla has expanded its “Safety Net” program and health insurance offering to include “travel and lodging support for those who may need to seek healthcare services that are unavailable in their home state,” according to the company’s “Impact Report,” released Friday. The electric car maker officially moved its corporate headquarters from California to Texas last year.

Hmmm…recently, Musk said that civilization will crumble if we don’t have more children.

Not surprised. Still appreciate his free speech stand and hope he continues to scare the pants off the left for that, but I never made the mistake of building him up as a conservative hero. He never was and never will be.

Maybe he's thinking of what the women go through to get to that decision. If his insurance coverage for his employees covers abortion, then it sounds reasonable to allow for the cost to get to one. Okay, let me have it.

Elon is a disciple of evil by doing this. A high priest of the child sacrifice pagan god Moloch. Start the fires Elon. Too bad you don't push for adoption instead.

Has he discussed this with his mum?
Anyone who doesn’t realize this is murder, who could chose adoption instead, needs to be jailed for LIFE.
Heaven help us.

Do the math. Travel costs are much cheaper than paid maternity leave.

I'm not surprised either. I don't trust Elon Musk.

I don’t like this trend of corporations essentially virtue signaling by funding abortions. We have for all intents and purposes slid into an oligarchy which is just too cozy a relationship with government to suit the majority of Americans. While this policy may please the pro-choice among them, it greatly offends their employees who are pro-life not to mention their customers who do not support abortion. I can remember few companies if any ever coming out in favor of a conservative policy.
Musk and his ilk who want to support infanticide, are wrong to get involved in this hot button issue as a company policy. They do this because they know conservatives are not like leftists who will dox them, harass them, and violently protest against them. Bullying these companies into submission is the demented left’s standard operating procedure. The marketplace should not be in the business of politics. It is just bad decision making. However, it does fulfill the need to be accepted by the only group that matters to them, the unhinged leftists. Decency and a basic right to life means little them as long as they are accepted by their leftist peers. I will take note of these companies and make decisions accordingly. Since they chose to support abortion, I have a right to spend my money elsewhere and I will.

But up to only two abortions per year per person, I heard. Will that be enough?

Everyone seems to think that ending Roe vs Wade ends abortion, it doesn’t it just takes it back to the states. There are red states and their are blue. Governors and Senators of those states will use this as part of their platforms when they run for election. Does anyone think for one minute that California, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, New York, etc etc will stop aborting babies? This practice will never stop. It’s sad but it’s the truth.

Another point to add, if the info I read is correct black women abort 5 times more than white. If that is correct it’s almost like they are allowing termination of a race. Where is the out rage BLM? And yet they still will support a democrat over anyone else.

Elon Musk isn’t our savior. His supporting abortion is definitely evil. His supporting free speech is laudable.
So he’s kind of a mixed bag.
So is Donald Trump. So we shouldn’t be hero worshiping either man.
However, I’ll take them as flawed leaders over the entirely evil leftists we have in charge now.

What changed with HIPPA? When I was a manager at an aerospace corp we were told employee health issues were none of the corporation's business. Perhaps abortion really isn't a "health" issue after all - at least not for the "birthing person"

At least taxpayers aren't paying otherwise we will have to pay for free transportation and medical care to blue states. An abort-a-cation.

Material participation.
Latae sentenciae...
No issue for me with Tesla. Had no plans to get involved with them.
Had grown more resigned to ordering from Amazon in recent years, though. Giving that up might be harder than it was to give up Girl Scouts Thin Mints cookies was.

I suppose they figure it is cheaper to kill the babies than to grant maternity leave .

Elon's employees are highly educated. I imagine they know how to avoid pregnancy.
