President Biden attempted to allay concerns about the performance of the U.S. economy on Thursday after the Commerce Department announced that the economy shrank over the first quarter of 2022.
“I’m not concerned about a recession,” Biden told reporters at a press conference at the White House.
“I mean, you’re always concerned about a recession, but the GDP, you know, fell to 1.4 percent,” Biden added. “But here’s the deal: we also had last quarter consumer spending and business investment and residential investment increase at significant rates,” and “unemployment’s the lowest rate since 1970.”

The doddering fool is confused about +1.4% vs -1.4%. It didn’t fall “to 1.4%” it fell to -1.4%.

1% growth was projected(and BidenInc. claimed that was overly pessimistic) 1.4% was the actual...a 240% difference.
Final line of this story? "A report by Deutsche Bank economists to clients on Tuesday warned that a “major recession” is coming and could be “worse than expected,” although the authors noted their outlook was more pessimistic than other economists’ views."
A wise man once said..."If you are a pessimist long enough, people will begin to see you as a Prophet"

I presume he's not concerned about how people who may end up losing a job due to the upcoming recession, because he doesn't know what's going on anyhow.
I'm sure there are a few Democrats running for Congress who may feel differently.

Of course he's not worried. He and all the other DC snakes have more than enough money to see them through anything they throw our way. When the SHTF they will have plenty of everything in spades and then some. FJB has an empty brain and the puppet masters are doing a horrible job of filling his mind and mouth with their words and deeds. But JFB is to far gone to understand any of it. I was a young woman when carter's inflation/recession had a strangle hold of this country. It was horrible but I fear this will be so much worse. The remnants of Afghanistan, gas shortage, the border, supply side issues, TOO MUCH MONEY being printed and given out like candy, food shortage/famine issues for everyone on some level, inflation, public schools turning into outhouses of knowledge, war in Europe, debt, and on and on as a result of the FJB/puppet master clown car administration. Here's hoping there is another morning in America. Tired of this roller coaster ride into that great socialist/communist hell hole.

The Dem/Marxist Party continues to crash the economy. In the left hand ditch, and still steering hard left, stepping on the throttle.
