We’re not supposed to say “COVID is over,” but that’s about all there is to say when India’s latest breakout has almost nobody getting sick and doctors call it “no cause for concern.” Caseloads in the major city of Mumbai more than quadrupled in recent weeks, from 300 per month to nearly 400 each week. Despite the increase, “A lone death was reported in Gondhia,” according to The Times of India. Dr Pradeep Awate told the paper, “Data from genome sequencing shows there is no new variant in circulation and only Omicron’s sub lineages are present in India.” The city’s positive test rate is only 1%, but they aren’t enforcing a universal testing

As the strength of the virus wanes, globalists are deciding when to release the next one. I predict, just in time for the November elections.

In recent weeks, the mood of Democratic leaders at the state and local levels has darkened considerably. And it promises to get even darker in the weeks and months ahead as voters in every age group and every income bracket look to blame Joe Biden and the Democrats for the inflation. And inflation is far and away the number one issue American voters will make their decision on whom to support this November. The president’s approval rating has settled into the low 40s since January and shows no signs of rising. And my colleague Chris Queen points out it’s rare for a president’s numbers to improve substantially prior to midterms.

The devastation done to the Woke Gestapo at Disney, Netflix, Twitter, and CNN is glorious and proof of God’s love for us. As you know, my mantra since the Woke Terror began has been: Hang in there. This won’t last. I was confident of this for two reasons: 1) Woke is a violation of human nature, and 2) this is still America. Now, if you spend all your time on social media and consuming cable news, including Fox News, you are not aware America is still America. But once you escape that toxic echo chamber and spend some time in the real world with real people, you will discover that Americans

Bill Gates is worth $132 billion, but apparently, he still needs to go beg other rich people for money to fund his various pet projects. One of those includes the climate change hysteria the Microsoft founder pushes, and that recently led him to contact Elon Musk, the billionaire who is attempting to buy Twitter. In leaked text messages, Gates, who has been connected to now-deceased serial abuser Jeffrey Epstein, is seen pushing Musk to contribute to a supposedly philanthropic effort to combat climate change. This apparently pre-empted or followed an in-person meeting between the two (I’m not completely clear on that). Regardless, here’s how the exchange went.

Philadelphia reversed its decision to bring back indoor masking on Friday after just three days, and at the same time scrapped a new public health department COVID-19 response system that made it the only large U.S. city to bring back a mask mandate this spring. Health officials and Mayor Jim Kenney offered differing reasons. While the health commissioner framed the decision as one driven by data and science, Kenney cited politics and logistics. The day the mandate went into effect, a Florida judge struck down a federal rule requiring masking on public transit. Regional transit agency SEPTA lifted its requirement that people wear masks on its vehicles later that day.

President Joe Biden has accomplished in just 14 months what many thought was impossible — surpassing President Jimmy Carter as the most incompetent steward of the American economy. Biden just broke another record, leaving Americans saddled with 8.5 percent inflation — energy alone is up 32 percent since last year. Those of us who lived through the ’70s remember the fuel lines at the pump, staggering inflation, and Soviet aggression. There was a sense that America was in decline. What Carter termed "malaise" was actually the product of his terrible policies that hollowed out the middle class while inviting tyrants and adversaries to test American strength.

For weeks now, Disney has been embroiled in a culture-war battle over a Florida law forbidding teachers from discussing sexual orientation and gender identity with primary school students. Disney World, based in Orlando, has vocally opposed this law and vowed to fight it due to its supposed anti-LGBTQ implications. However, this law is immaterial for Disney's financial performance. Disney's shareholders are the real losers of this controversy. Since this bill passed Florida's legislature, Disney's stock is down about 10 percent as investors worry that the company will face political and consumer backlash for its woke stance. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has already threatened Disney World's special self-governance exemptions

State lawmakers in Rhode Island are pushing legislation that would require every person in the state 16 years of age and older to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and punish those who refuse to do so. Local outlet NBC 10 reported Tuesday that two state Senators have removed their names from the bill, Bill S.2552. NBC 10 noted that those who violate the proposed mandate would “face a civil penalty of $50 and shall owe twice the amount of personal income taxes.” Employers would be responsible to enforce the mandate and require vaccine proof from employees or face a $5,000 fine for each worker who is unvaccinated.
