Harry Potter author JK Rowling has been excluded from The Big Jubilee Read of 70 books, pioneered in part by the BBC, amid ongoing leftist attacks on her views on transgender ideology. The initiative, co-founded by BBC Arts along with The Reading Agency, is intended to showcase Commonwealth books spanning the seven decades of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign to coincide with her Platinum Jubilee, but the Harry Potter series’ total exclusion from the supposedly “reader-driven list” has raised eyebrows.

"Her views" are exceptionally tolerant and reasonable, but anything less than joining them as a radical advocate... is verboten.

You have to read down but Tolkein and C S Lewis were also excluded. They did keep in Barbara Cartland, Enid Blyton, and William Shakespeare. I guess.

To quote another British author (at least he is credited with the statement)… In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. George Orwell “Sex is real.”

I assume George Orwell is excluded too. It is depressing to witness how this horde of small minds is taking over everywhere in the world. If they’re not stopped before it’s too late, the world enters a true Dark Age. As Orwell wrote, it is all “Groupthink.”

The genius of Rowling was to write books at t a time when computer games were taking over children's minds and minutes. Instead of robotic responses to the computer games, a child had to imagine as he or she read the words. That, alone, makes Rowling the writer of the century, if not the best in the entire history of England. (Shakespeare was difficult for kids, and some grown ups to understand/decipher. Agatha Christie's genre was stupid.) I suggest that Rowling accept the rejection as a badge of honor.

Most notable on the list are the names that are excluded (along with Rowling)~~ C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Whatever "group" is drawing up the Jubilee list needs some direction...perhaps they should ask the Queen for suggestions? After all, it's her Jubilee...

The greatest author of the 21st Century is excluded from a book reading. That is solid proof that the transgender movement ranks right down there in yuck factor along with climate change, critical race theory, electric cars, black lying marxists, veggie burgers and the new world order.

Rowling is laughing at these people all the way to the bank. Sounds like the left is coming up with an approved reading list, and everyone else is canceled. Hypocrites! These people preach tolerance and practice the exact opposite of what they say. Trump would refer to these people as lightweights because they have no real influence.

McEnany’s comments on Tuesday’s episode of Fox’s “Outnumbered” come as footage of Biden shows him being “whisked away” after a crowd asked about Afghanistan during the White House’s Easter Egg roll on Monday. Biden can be seen and heard saying, “Pakistan should not… and Afghanistan should be…” before the Easter Bunny promptly draws him away from the reporters.

Evicted five centuries ago by crusading Christians, jihadists have historically dreamed of, and worked towards, regaining the “lost Caliphate” of Spain. Spanish citizens are under constant threat by Islamic migrants who have illegally entered their country. Yet, despite the dangers and instability, the illegals pose to Spaniards, especially Christians, the country’s left-wing government led by Pedro Sánchez has been unwilling to close its borders, properly vet illegals or deport potential terrorists. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that illegal Muslim migrants have attacked Christians during their Holy Week. A group of Muslim migrants from a local shelter pelted Christians with rocks and projectiles at an Easter procession
