WASHINGTON — The US Secret Service has dubiously claimed to The Post that it has “no records” of visitors to President Biden’s two Delaware residences and therefore cannot divulge that information in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.Biden was at his residences in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach on about one-quarter of all days during his first year in office, but little is known about who stopped by for official meetings or less formal lobbying efforts — such as by members of his family and their associates. The Post sought more than one year of visitor log records, including for Biden’s first year in office,

A little over a decade ago, two researchers at Wharton published a paper showing that, despite women’s increasing work and educational opportunities, their self-reported happiness was in steady decline. Back in 1970, women were on average happier than men; they are now less happy than men.
Broadly, since 1970, everyone has gotten more miserable. But the decline in women’s overall happiness has outpaced men’s, and the happiness curve inverted sometime in the early 1990s. The paper also documents increasing anxiety and neuroticism, as well as decreasing social cohesion among women.

Will the Magic Kingdom leave the swamplands of Florida for the clean, cool air of the Rocky Mountains?
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis is openly lobbying The Walt Disney Co. to relocate its theme park from Orlando to his state over what he calls “authoritarian socialist attacks” from the Republican Party. “Florida’s authoritarian socialist attacks on the private sector are driving businesses away,” the Democratic governor tweeted on Tuesday.
“In CO, we don’t meddle in affairs of companies like @Disney or @Twitter.”

The Walt Disney Co. is the worst performing stock in the Dow Jones Industrial Average for the past year, plummeting 31 percent in the last 12 months.
Of the 30 companies that comprise the Dow, Disney has seen its stock drop the most on a percentage basis, followed by 3M, which is down 25 percent, and Home Depot, down 23 percent. Disney shares were down more than 5 percent Wednesday as investors remained skittish on streaming entertainment companies following Netflix’s disastrous first quarter results. Disney+ subscription results recently disappointed Wall Street when the company reported quarterly results in November, causing the stock to tumble.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is asking the Department of Justice to proceed with its appeal of a ruling issued by a Florida judge on Monday which tossed out the Biden administration's mask mandate for public transportation passengers. "To protect CDC’s public health authority beyond the ongoing assessment announced last week, CDC has asked DOJ to proceed with an appeal in Health Freedom Defense Fund, Inc., et al., v. Biden, et al. It is CDC’s continuing assessment that at this time an order requiring masking in the indoor transportation corridor remains necessary for the public health. CDC will continue to monitor

Netflix on Tuesday reported a loss of 200,000 subscribers during the first quarter — its first decline in paid users in more than a decade — and warned of deepening trouble ahead.
The company’s shares cratered more than 25% in extended hours after the report on more than a full day’s worth of trading volume. Fellow streaming stocks Roku, Spotify and Disney also tumbled in the after-hours market after Netflix’s brutal update.

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace compared Republican Govs. Ron DeSantis of Florida and Glenn Youngkin of Virginia to Russian soldiers raping kids during a Wednesday segment of “Deadline: White House.”Wallace accused DeSantis and Youngkin of “dehumanization” through their successful passage of parental rights legislation and executive orders, which she called a “tactic of war.”“I worry [that] in covering Glenn Youngkin and his politics of parental choice, all of the focus was on how well it worked,” she said.

Elon Musk has slammed 'unwatchable' Netflix for becoming infected by the 'woke mind virus' as the streaming giant hemorrhages subscribers. The US company lost 200,000 users between January and March this year, a quarterly report announced yesterday, causing shares to plummet by 25 per cent, with a further 2million subscribers set to leave by June. The service is now proposing introducing adverts and stopping password sharing to stem the exodus, which it is trialing in Chile, Costa Rica and Peru in a bid to clamp down on the estimated 10million households who use someone else's account.

Shares of Netflix plunged 37% Wednesday morning after the streamer reported earnings Tuesday evening that showed it lost subscribers for the first time in more than ten years. The results and weak outlook led to a wave of downgrades from Wall Street over fears of the company's long-term growth potential.
Netflix said several headwinds are impacting growth, including competition and the easing pandemic restrictions. The company had been significantly boosted by coronavirus stay-at-home orders, as more people sought out digital entertainment. But people spent less time on digital platforms as vaccines rolled out and mandates eased.
Slower household broadband growth also played a role in the company's weak forecast.

Make. It. Stop. Kamala Harris delivered remarks at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California this week. (Tweet) Harris announced the US called off anti-satellite missile testing. “I am pleased to announce that as of today, the United States commits not to conduct destructive direct-ascent, anti-satellite missile testing. Simply put, these tests are dangerous and we will not conduct them,” Harris said. “We are the first nation to make such a commitment and today, on behalf of the United States of America, I call on all nations to join us whether a nation is space-faring or not.”
Comments:
This speaks in volume. The majority has lost all confidence in the current disaster, I mean the administration. The excuse used to be Covid and they had limited crowds. Not anymore lol The Democrat-media complex claims Biden got 81 million votes in 2020, yet virtually no one turned out to see him speak in a state he supposedly won.
