Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan warned parts of the East Coast could be "swallowed by the ocean" in a dissenting Supreme Court opinion in an environmental regulation case Thursday.
"If the current rate of emissions continues, children born this year could live to see parts of the Eastern seaboard swallowed by the ocean," Kagan wrote in her dissent.
Justices Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor joined Kagan's dissent in the 6-3 case.
"Today, the Court strips the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of the power Congress gave it to respond to ‘the most pressing environmental challenge of our time,'" Kagan wrote.

President Joe Biden on Thursday said that American motorists should expect to pay elevated prices for gasoline until the Russia–Ukraine war is over.
In a press conference following the NATO summit in Madrid, Biden was questioned about how long people should pay higher gas prices.
“How long is it fair to expect American drivers and drivers around the world to pay a premium for this war?” a New York Times reporter asked Biden.
“As long as it takes,” Biden said in response, “so that Russia cannot in fact defeat Ukraine and move beyond Ukraine.”
“This is a critical, critical position for the world,” he added, again blaming the elevated gas prices on the

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) further strutted her woke posturing at the Reagan Presidential Library, where she said the world “is really not going that well” under male leadership.
As part of the “Time for Choosing” speaker series, Liz Cheney briefly honored former President Ronald Reagan before segueing into a diatribe against former Donald Trump, calling him a “dangerous and irrational man.” Cheney also characterized Republican leadership as being loyal to the former president at the expense of the Constitution. Towards the tail-end of her speech, Cheney celebrated that which gives her the most hope for the future: “young women.”

Heavy duty trucks were parked in front of police headquarters in Akron Friday morning as the northeast Ohio city is on edge after reports a Black man fleeing a traffic stop Monday was shot and killed by eight police police officers who reportedly fired ninety rounds–hitting the man, 25-year-old Jayland Walker, sixty times. Akron announced Thursday the city’s four-day Rib, White and Blue Festival was being canceled, however there are still fireworks displays planned for Monday.

It was the gasp heard round the world. "They could run Michelle Obama, and if they do ..." said Monica Crowley before the CPAC 2022 audience reeled audibly in shocked recognition, cutting her off in mid-sentence. Crowley had seen an early screener of my upcoming film and book of the same name, Michelle Obama 2024: Her Real Life Story and Plan for Power, which will be released on July 11. Crowley was not trying to make waves at CPAC. She was trying to send a warning.
The CPAC crowd, and conservatives in general, have failed to realize that the ever present Michelle Obama was

This term of the Supreme Court has been a big one for based decisions and here’s another big one.
The Supreme Court sharply curtailed the power of the EPA to regulate greenhouse-gas emissions that cause climate change. In a 6-3 ruling written by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court sided with conservative states and fossil-fuel companies in adopting a narrow reading of the Clean Air Act.The Court found that Congress had not authorized the EPA to induce a shift toward cleaner energy sources.
“Congress did not grant EPA…the authority to devise emissions caps based on the generation shifting approach

On Thursday, June 23, the Supreme Court released the Bruen decision which settles the pitched battle over whether the Second Amendment assures the God-given right to self-defense by being able to conceal and carry a gun most everywhere but “sensitive areas.”
On Friday, June 24, Rob Bonta, the attorney general of California, one of five entities whose “may issue” or “right of good cause” tests for carrying a gun were found unconstitutional, told law enforcement that its laws were no longer valid.
On Monday, June 27, Bonta’s department leaked the names, home addresses, phone numbers, race, and other personal information of every single concealed carry gun licensee in the state.

Support from some of the Republican Party’s biggest donors for a 2024 White House run by former President Donald Trump is dwindling, especially after damaging new details of his actions on Jan. 6, 2021, were revealed at a hearing Tuesday by the House select committee investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Republican financiers and their advisors have been privately meeting since the committee started to release the initial findings of its probe in a series of public hearings earlier this month, according to interviews with top GOP fundraisers who have helped the party raise millions of dollars. Most of the people asked not to be named because

The explosive testimony delivered Tuesday by former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson has driven a rift through alumni of former President Donald Trump's team.
Hutchinson, who served as an aide to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, outlined to the Jan. 6 select committee a pattern of concerning, erratic behavior by Trump and some of his closest advisers on and in the lead-up to the day of the Capitol riot.
The Washington Examiner spoke to more than a dozen former Trump administration staffers, including a number who were still serving in the White House on Jan. 6,

The serial lying Fox News is not only the number one cable news outlet in America; it is frequently the number one overall cable channel in America.
Why is this allowed to happen?
Why would anyone trust Fox News more than CNNLOL or MSNBC?
If anything, Fox News is worse than CNN and MSNBC.
MSNBC is open about its fascist agenda, and the only lie CNN hides behind is the old trope about being objective.
Fox News has been lying, hoaxing, and hoodwinking millions of good people for more than two decades with its fair and balanced; we’re not like those other guys lie.

Biden economic advisor Brian Deese said that Americans should 'stand firm' on paying record-high gas prices because the 'future of the liberal world order' is more important. 'What do you say to those families that say, 'listen, we can't afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years?' the director of the National Economic Council was asked on CNN Thursday. 'What you heard from the president today was a clear articulation of the stakes. This is about the future of the Liberal World Order and we have to stand firm,' he replied.(Snip)'The Liberal World Order?! These people are nuts!' Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., wrote
