UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that transgender women should not compete in female sports in comments he said he knew could be seen as "controversial." "I don't think that biological males should be competing in female sporting events. And maybe that's a controversial thing ... but it just seems to me to be sensible," Johnson said during a visit to a hospital in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire on Wednesday, PA media reported. Johnson made the comments while speaking on a number of issues, including the UK government's controversial decision not to include transgender people in the ban on so-called conversion therapy.

MEN should not compete in women's sports. There is no such thing as "transgendered", it is impossible.

No amount of fairy dust injections can change DNA. (When viewed from a godless point of view, some people choose not to acknowledge Gd's sovereignty in determining a person's gender and DNA.)

I guess that rules out Michelle Obama from competing in any sports events, including the All You Can Eat Buffet games, in the United Kingdom.

Boris Johnson has it right as far as the transgenders are concerned competing in woman’s sports. It’s unfair to women.

A Russian missile strike on a Ukrainian train station killed at least 50 civilians and wounded another 98 Friday. At least five of the dead and at least 16 of the injured were children, the leader of the Donetsk regional administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, confirmed in a tweet. The Kramatorsk railway station in eastern Ukraine was flooded with nearly 4,000 people, many of them elderly, women, and children, trying to escape to less war torn parts of the country at the time of the attack. Russia has been conducting a bloody invasion of Ukraine for nearly two months, inflicting a high civilian and military death toll and widespread destruction.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed Thursday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has tested positive for the coronavirus, kissing President Biden on the cheek and holding his hand did not meet the White House’s definition of "close contact." "How can you guys say that President Biden was not a close contact with speaker Pelosi when there's video of the speaker kissing him?" Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Psaki on Thursday. "Their definition of it is 15 minutes of contact within a set period of time, within six feet," Psaki responded, referring to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention definition of "close contact." "It did not meet that bar."

There are a lot of indicators that the November midterms are going to be a big red wave for the Republicans. From the November wins in Virginia to the historic win this week of the first Republican county executive in decades in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, a lot of things are trending toward the Republicans. People are largely fed up with Joe Biden and the Democrats according to virtually every poll, with numbers in the basement. The polls are also indicating that Americans are trending toward Republicans leading in their choice for Congress. Now there’s some more bad news for Democrats and it’s a very big sign.

I didn’t expect this. But I suppose some realities are so plain that even Russia won’t bother to dispute them. As the photos of burned-out tanks and dead Russian troops pile up on social media, claiming that losses are minimal would make the Kremlin seem ridiculous while failing to convince anyone. The most Dmitri Peskov can do here to spin the state of the war is to say that the country’s troops withdrew from northern parts of Ukraine like Kiev and Chernihiv as a goodwill gesture towards negotiation, not because the Ukrainians were about to run them off. The truth is that if Russia had left

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors (BOS) on Tuesday approved a motion suspending official travel to Florida and Texas over the southern states' legislation regarding parental rights and transgender minors. The LA County BOS responded to the legislation by voting to "suspend all travel to the States of Texas and Florida for the conduct of County business unless the Chief Executive Officer determines that the failure to authorize such travel would seriously harm the County’s interests."

Former President Donald Trump could still face criminal charges over his business dealings, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg signaled Thursday in a statement that said his investigation is continuing and that he would explain his final decision to the public. “While the law constrains me from commenting further at this time, I unequivocally pledge that the Office will publicly state the conclusion of our investigation — whether we conclude our work without bringing charges, or move forward with an indictment,” Bragg added. “In the meantime, we will not be discussing our investigative steps. Nor will we be discussing grand jury matters. In short, as we have previously said, the investigation continues.”

Pope Francis, a leading advocate of Doormat Christianity, is at it again, trying to reverse nearly two millennia of Christian doctrine, by preaching total passivity—even against violent aggression. On March 18, 2022, Francis declared before an audience that “A war is always—always!—the defeat of humanity, always. We, the educated, who work in education, are defeated by this war, because on another side we are responsible.” So far, all well and good, if only because such lofty but impotent words are expected. But then Francis went so far as to say, “There is no such thing as a just war: they do not exist!” That is a remarkably dangerous claim, of similar naïve thinkers—
