The Senate voted 53-47 on Thursday to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, with three Republicans voting with all Democrats.Jackson, a 51 year-old federal appeals court judge, will be the first black woman on the high court and the third black justice. Her confirmation vote was not nearly as bipartisan as that of the justice she'd been chosen to replace, Stephen Breyer, and others. But still, President Biden can tout a bipartisan win thanks to yes votes from GOP Sens. Mitt Romney, Utah, Susan Collins, Maine, and Lisa Murkowski, Alaska.

Once the truth of her rulings on child pornography is public, the three Republicans need to get non stop calls demanding resignation and stating shame shame! Billboards in their home states and neighborhoods with victims names and ages.

Is she qualified?
It doesn't matter. She's female, black, and a Democrat.
That's all that matters.
The good news is at least she didn't replace a conservative judge.

The American people and the"representatives," which they have empowered to lead, plainly elucidate that, far from the "Greatest Generation," many of today's Americans are members of the INGRATEST Generation. You reap what you sow. America has failed it's test now as two-faced Republicans have "sold out." They could care less about the people. The MASK is off for all to see. WE ARE now THE S******E COUNTRY we used to accuse other nations of.
Jan 6 political prisoners: be afraid ... Real (not illegal) American citizens: be afraid. The Supreme Laws of the Land are now influenced by those of questionable morality. THIS means that NOBODY is SAFE FROM the law anymore. Except Creeepy Joe and those whom he favors. R.I.P. America.
It has been a good run, and many have died for your freedoms. All gone now,

Collins, Murkowski and Romney all have it out ….for America. And Romney ran for President of the US. What do they know that we don’t, to make this stupid of a career ending move? Is Obama coming back and he promised them something? Do the democrats or deep state have something on them? Epstein clients? Kamala should have taken the heat as tie breaker but now the Republicans take heat with despicable democrats.

Of course, what would really make this funny is if the justice she's to replace decided to not retire because he didn't want history to mention he was replaced by such an incompetent.

Once again, the prized inductees into the RINO Hall of Fame help the Democrats. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mitt "Pierre Delecto" Romney. They've been traitors for a long time.

Revealing the true "balance" of the Senate: 53-47. All the more reason for us to intensify our efforts to elect only MAGA candidates in the primaries and general election. Mitch. Mitt, Kevin, and other GOP "establishment" RINOs are now officially irrelevant.

It is a tragically sad day for the USA. How incredibly easy it’s been for the left to slowly just infiltrate the GOP so that there will always be just enough sell-outs to get Democrats plans enacted into law. Obamacare and now this. The three Republicans were well-known traitors yet their states keep them in office. This did not have to happen.

I would be interested in hearing any of those three persons describe, in their own words, the values that one must uphold in order to be a "good" Republican.

Judge Jackson went to Harvard undergrad and Law school. She is not stupid. Her judgement regarding the issue of pedophilia was the problem.
Repubs did not want to be seen on camera opposing a black person in an election year. Period.

#9, you do realize that Ketanji Brown Jackson has marriage ties to Paul Ryan? Would you expect Mitt Romney to vote differently?

Let me clarify. Marriage family ties. People in Brown-Jackson's family are brother/sister to Paul Ryan's wife. Quite interesting in who knows who and who benefits from knowing those people. . .

Respectfully, #26, after the aggressive implementation of "affirmative action," the most that can be said about her is that she was credentialed by Harvard. That's a different kettle of fish and is the natural result of picking people by color rather than picking them by ability and character.

I am sorry for my third comment but it is related to who knows who because I think that is a big problem in government and it creates so much bias. Just because someone is related to a politician should not give them an advantage for a position. The head of the RNC is the niece to Mitt Romney. It goes on and on. If a position is open or available, every person should have an opportunity to apply for it.

#26, most of us know that the phrase “No one gets a B at Harvard” has more to say about the perception of Harvard than it does the education one receives.
So, if one gets in on say…..AA…….well, there is no incentive for Harvard to allow you to fail.
Making the degree worth less than the paper it is printed on.

It is a shame that Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed for the Supreme Court. She was very skilled in dodging and evading answering questions. The one question she refused to answer -- define a woman -- was startling. One would think this was a slam-dunk softball question, but she reacted to it like it was a ticking time bomb. If Biden had said, "I can't answer that," when asked what flavor of ice cream he liked, it would have been more believable.

An unworthy and biased judge who will make rulings based on her current personal views and NOT the RULE of LAW.
Our nation will fall soon with this kind of political appointment.
Much worse than the "wise Latina" Sotomayor and Elena Kagen who should have recused herself since she was someone who put together NoBamaCare type programs...
It calls into question how Antonin Scalia met his fate, how many connections John Roberts has to Epstein and how RGB was given deity status.... this move most certainly is another effort for "dumbing down" the Court
