As a result of Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot's defund the police efforts, 660 cops retired in 2021. That is 660 fewer police protecting the citizens of Chicago. Now we know that an additional 70 police are not protecting the citizens of Chicago, because they are assigned to a secret unit to provide round-the-clock protection for the city’s mayor. Another example of how Democrat politicians serve the public.

Lori may need that much protection from the hood. She knows them well, and that they settle disputes violently. She doesn't need protection from anybody else, as they don't want anything to do with her.

The White House has been forced to correct yet another error by President Biden after he said Americans who use renewable energy to power their homes could save “about $500 a month on average.”Biden made the claim during remarks announcing the planned release of 180 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve over the next six months. The speech included a plug for the administration’s proposed green energy programs currently before Congress. “If your home is powered by safer, cheaper, cleaner electricity, like solar or heat pumps, you can save about $500 a month on average,”

The House of Representatives voted Friday to federally legalize marijuana with a vote of 220-204, mostly along party lines, sending the legislation to the Senate. Three Republicans - Reps. Matt Gaetz, Brian Mast and Tom McClintock - voted alongside the Democratic majority, while two Democrats voted no with the GOP. It marked the second time the Democrat-led House passed a bill to decriminalize pot, the first happening in December 2020. The United States does not have a real president right now. There is an individual named Joe Biden who shows up occasionally and sits in the Oval Office, but in no way can he be considered to be “President” in the traditional understanding of that term. Biden is an ersatz president. An American president is essentially the CEO of the federal government. He or she sets the overall strategy and direction of the country, outlines and articulates its major objectives and manages the subordinate elements that create the actual policy in order to achieve the big-picture goals laid out by the president.

President Joe Biden released a video Thursday to encourage millions of insecure and vulnerable teenagers to embrace the elite claim they can transform into a popular “transgender” person of the opposite sex: I want you to know that your President sees you. Joe, Kamala, Doug, our entire administration, sees you for who you are … deserving of dignity, respect, and support. But we know it’s hard when there are those out there who don’t see you, don’t respect you.Biden also threatened the loving American parents who disagree with their teenagers’ claims to be members of the opposite sex, saying:To parents of transgender children, affirming your child’s

Who could have possibly predicted this? Well, I did, and we’ll get to that in a minute, but first the background. Some days ago, CBS News ran a “BREAKING” report asserting that there were gaps in the White House telephone logs from January 6th. The story centered on two assertions: One, that the Trump administration had altered the call logs, and two, that the then-president had used a burner phone during the time period in question. From there, the implication was made that those actions were taken to cover up an organized insurrection being directed by Donald Trump.(Tweet)

New York's electoral maps were thrown into chaos on Thursday after a judge on the state Supreme Court ordered Democrats to go back to the drawing board and work with the Republicans. The new maps were signed into law in February, as a consequence of the census - which every 10 years gives an updated view of the population, and a chance to redraw electoral districts to match. It is meant to provide a chance to rectify fluctuations in the number of residents, so that each district is as equal in population to all other congressional districts in the state. President Joe Biden vastly overpromised Americans that they can expect savings of $500 a month by transitioning to renewable energy, which the White House corrected by saying the savings would actually come over a year. In the final days before what appeared to be a neck-and-neck 1980 election, Republican Ronald Reagan landed a haymaker against President Carter by asking a simple question: "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?" Americans were not, and Reagan ended up beating the incumbent Democrat in a drubbing — carrying forty-four states, taking 489 electoral votes (snip) As we near what looks like his return to battle for the 2024 election, though, a potent six-word slogan reminiscent of Reagan's rhetorical thwack is inescapable: Were you better off with Trump?

Back in 1967, the Reedy Creek Improvement District agreement was created to lure Disney to Florida. The agreement allows the district governmental powers to facilitate recreational projects and tourism. Florida's legislature felt that it would benefit the state if recreational organizations had the power to act as their own government in areas like property development, water control, public utilities, law enforcement, and fire protection. The mouse eagerly took the cheese, and today most of the land is owned by Walt Disney World. It's been a pretty sweet deal (snip) Now Florida legislators are threatening to pull those special privileges if Disney continues to strike at HB1557

Two years ago, far-left California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, established a task force with the assigned mission of examining slavery reparations. On Tuesday, that task force finally made their recommendation, and they may also have given a hint that whatever steps were to be taken would only be the beginning. After a lengthy debate and prior to holding the actual vote, the vice-chair of the task force,
