Roman Abramovich has suffered a suspected poisoning along with Ukraine peace negotiators earlier this month, sources said. The Chelsea FC owner was reportedly poisoned just weeks ago after a meeting in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv whilst he acted as a a 'peacemaker' in the Russian war in Ukraine, reports the Wall Street Journal. Following the meeting in Kyiv, Abramovich as well as two senior members of the Ukrainian team developed symptoms that included red eyes, painful tearing as well as peeling skin on their faces and hands, sources told the newspaper. Analysts at Bellingcat confirmed that three members of the delegation - including Abramovich - attending the peace

Poisoning is one of Putin's standard methods of dealing with people he doesn't like. In Ukraine, presidential candidate Viktor Yushchenko was poisoned with dioxin, which caused his face to break out in horrible pustules, and while he survived, he has severe facial scarring. This was in 2004, when he was running against a pro-Moscow candidate. He defeated the pro-Moscow candidate in that election. Putin poisoned a Russian in Britain a number of years ago with radioactive polonium, which was a "calling card" since this is only available to people with access to nuclear reactors where this can be created. Only a top state agency in one of the major nuclear powers would have access.....and Putin wanted people to understand what he did to folks he was unhappy with. It took the guy a few weeks to die, painfully. Another Russian and his daughter didn't drink enough of this poison to die, by a fluke, but he was very sick, she only slightly. Putin is as hideous as any of the murderous tyrants of old, Stalin, Medici, etc.

Abramovich has close ties to Putin. So, this could just as easily be an attempt to make Putin look bad as an attempt by Putin to punish those taking actions he does not like. I can see three possible forces behind this: People working for Putin, People working to make Putin look bad, Enemies of Abramovich with no connections to the Russia V Ukraine war.

Facial peel, red eyes, and painful tearing . . . wealthy Russian and Putin's butt-buddy . . . Turkeys cosmetic tourism industry. Do the math. Abramovich got a facial peel and had his eyelids done. Finito. Abramovich recommended Putin to Yeltsin as his replacement. Putin made him a billionaire. This story is part of the head fake.

How much do you Putin trolls get for each reply? Whatever it is, you're vastly overpaid. Your excuses for Putin's aggression don't even pass the laugh test. Sure, Abramovich poisoned himself, to make Putin look bad, because he's Putin's friend, or something like that. What will you suck-ups do for cash once your best boy is gone?

LOL, it's always a hoot when those lacking in intellectual curiosity immediately and without question accept the premise from a media that has lied to them for years about almost every major story. But here's a news flash for them what so readily swallow whatever's stuck down their throat . . . the facts that 1) Putin's a bad guy and 2) Not everything that's written about bad guys is always true . . . A couple of weeks ago we learned there was concern within the Biden administration that Title 42, which allows the border patrol to quickly remove immigrants on health grounds, might be allowed to expire this week. And if that were to happen there was concern that the already high numbers of migrants at the border would spike. The situation was worrisome enough that Sens. Sinema and Kelly of Arizona sent a letter asking to see the Biden administration’s plan for dealing with the potential crisis that could unfold if Title 42 were to abruptly end. The CDC will complete

We still don’t know how or when the current war in Ukraine will end, assuming it does, and anyone telling you they know the answer is probably selling something. But there is no question that this event has reshaped many aspects of the current world order and some changes might be permanent. If events follow any sort of logical course, many of these long-term changes will not work out in Russia’s favor either before or after the dust settles. At CNBC, Holly Ellyatt has mapped out the five most likely consequences for both Putin himself and the Russian people in general.

We reported Monday on how Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the unfairly maligned Florida parental rights bill into law, which prompted the Usual Suspects on the left and in the media to once again howl with manufactured outrage that DeSantis had “banned” saying “gay” in public school classrooms (he hasn’t). One of the more noteworthy examples of a prominent DeSantis critic weighing in came from Disney, which promptly proclaimed that they would be on the frontlines of supporting efforts by dark money/billionaire-funded radical leftist groups to get the law, which among other things prevents instruction of gender identity and sexual orientation topics in grades K-3, repealed or struck down by the courts.

Centrist Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) on Tuesday shot down President Biden's new plan to raise $360 billion in revenue by imposing a 20 percent minimum tax on billionaires, a proposal the president formally unveiled Monday in his budget request to Congress. Manchin says he doesn't support the president's plan to tax the unrealized gains of billionaires, which would set a new precedent by taxing the value an asset accrues in theory before it is actually sold and converted into cash. "You can't tax something that's not earned. Earned income is what we're based on," he told The Hill. "There's other ways to do it. Everybody has to pay their

Movements of planes used by top Kremlin officials show Putin may be in a hideaway near Surgut, in western Siberia, it has been claimed . His defence minister Sergei Shoigu - who has been mysteriously absent for several weeks, sparking rumours about his health - is believed to be in a bunker near Ufa in the Urals, 725 miles east of Moscow, according to investigative journalist Christo Grozev. This theory is backed up by his daughter Ksenia Shoigu, 31, visiting Ufa for an estimated three days

Last Friday, the operations director of the Russian General Staff, Sergei Rudskoy, gave an otherworldly “update” on the status of the “special military operation” or “limited incursion” or anything but a war going on in Ukraine. In that update, he claimed that Russia had never tried to capture Kiev (pronounced “Keef” if you work for NPR or are named Christiane Amanpour). The Russian Army was not, contrary to popular belief, getting drubbed outside Kiev; it was just holding the Ukrainians in place as the master plan unfolded in Donbas (see Russia’s General Staff Claims Invasion Objectives ‘Mainly Accomplished’ and Phase II of Ukraine Invasion Is Starting). The White House on Monday attempted to clarify what President Joe Biden said to reporters about Americans training Ukrainian troops in Poland. During a question and answer session with members of the media at the White House, Biden responded to a question concerning his remark last week about what U.S. service members would see in Ukraine, “when you’re there.” “You’re going to see, when you’re there, and some of you have been there, you’re going to see women, young people, standing in front of a damn tank…” he said. But when asked Monday to explain what he meant, Biden said he was only talking with American troops

In the days following Joe Biden’s call for regime change in Russia, a comment that was walked back by the White House before Biden managed to reassert it, there have been lots of different takes regarding whether he was “correct” to say what he said or not. The foreign policy establishment, because they can never think more than one step ahead, absolutely loved it. It was Biden’s “tear down this wall” moment they asserted without a second thought for what it actually meant to call for Vladimir Putin’s ouster without any viable plan to bring that about. From there, accusations of being pro-Putin if one didn’t agree with Biden predictably emerged.

President Joe Biden appeared to reveal that the U.S. is training Ukrainian forces in Poland — stating for the first time since the war began that American troops are actively teaching Ukrainians to fight and kill Russians. The United States has been providing billions of dollars in weapons and other assistance to Ukraine, with much of that aid going through Poland. The president spent part of last week in the country, meeting with U.S. troops stationed in the southeast and delivering a speech about the West’s unity in the face of Russian aggression. But to date, the Biden administration has painstakingly made the case that that is as far as they’ll go.

Joe Biden was never smart. When I interned in Congress for two summers many years ago, other congressional members openly referred to him as one of the dumbest men on Capitol Hill. Officials and witnesses described a choreographed massacre in which assailants in military uniforms arrived just after 10.30pm on Sunday night and opened fire with assault rifles at the crowds of primarily middle-aged men. Two small trucks, one of them branded with the logo for Sabritas, a potato chip company, were used to block the highway leading to the cockfighting arena. Video filmed by witnesses nearby captured the sound of machine gun fire, which could be heard several miles away.
