The Muslim call to prayer will soon be heard regularly in parts of Minneapolis. Minneapolis mosques can now publicly broadcast the adhan, or call to prayer, over loudspeakers without acquiring a permit and so long as they abide by the city's amplified noise ordinance. Arabic words like "Allahu akbar," which means "God is great," will be heard ringing out from mosques around the city. Minneapolis City Council Member Jamal Osman announced this week that mosques will be allowed to play the adhan several times between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily and all year round. The City Council unanimously supported the broadcasts

So, can Christian churches install loudspeakers to blast out "Jesus is Savior" several times a day? And Hindu temples, "Hare Krishna!" And Jewish synagogues, and Scientology orgs, and Buddhist temples, and Sikh, and on, and on, can they all install loudspeakers? And can Republican headquarters call out over loudspeakers, "Let's go Brandon!" several times between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily and all year round?

Maybe once this takes hold they can move on down to Crawford. On the morning of 9/12, I was astounded we had not bombed something to oblivion. And then W reminded us that Islam is a religion of peace (complete ignorance with no thought of 1200 years of history). After that, his buddies got rich fighting ??? in 2 wars, and we became best friends with our enemies.

There's a pattern here. Muslims hate us, attack us and kill innocent Christians and Jews. How do we deal with it? We accommodate their every need, feed their lazy and indigent and look the other way when they do what comes natural to a sixth century barbarian. Blacks murder, rape and rob in ever-increasing numbers, have adopted a sick habit of beating senior citizens, especially Asians, and demand that we respect their culture and support their lazy and indigent. What do we do? We put their faces all over the television, include them in ridiculous, endless commercials where they do not logically fit and give them parts in every movie made to make sure that everybody knows who the golden race is. It looks like the way to get ahead is to break every law, hurt people and demand more from other races and cultures no matter how much you are given now. Some day we will wise up if we survive.

#7 & #10. I Agree. Maybe I am just one to hold a grudge but it rubs me the wrong way to know how we kow-tow to our enemies. After 9/11, it makes us look like chumps when they come here and make demands and we cannot oblige them quick enough. Of course, we do not wish to hold what a few of them did to us forever, but I am not ready to allow them to push their beliefs in our faces. You would think that they would have some sensitivity about taking advantage of our good nature in this manner, but it appears that as long as we are willing to appease them, they will continue to push us. When we visit or live in their countries they give Christians and Jews no quarter. It’s their way or the highway or worse. Progressive minded folks here must understand that we must stand up for our culture and values not to the exclusion of others but to the principle that this is our country, founded upon Judeo-Christian beliefs and it is a supreme offense to us to have individuals come to this country and attempt to make their culture superior to ours. Let’s see just how tolerant this bunch is, throw up some billboards that state Jesus is God in their neighborhoods, put a street preacher out on one of their corners, or assemble a group of people to pray publicly in their neighborhoods and see what their response would be. Doubt they would be very welcoming or silent. I just believe each one of these accommodations that are made is a feather in their cap. They enjoy sticking it to us. It’s a form of non-violent rebellion. Stop feeding their egos and make them understand that we are going to adopt the very attitude toward Christians and Jews that is practiced in their countries. They don’t get to come here and run the show.

Note that they are still not completely satisfied: FTA The approved time frame for broadcasts in Minneapolis means that the adhan for fajr, or dawn prayer, will not be called because it would be too early...The time restriction violates Muslims' constitutional rights, said a local representative of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN), a Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization Now they will push for allowing Obama's favorite sound to be heard at dawn too. Sens. Charles E. Grassley and Ron Johnson have revealed financial records showing how an arm of the Chinese government transferred $100,000 to President Biden’s son Hunter Biden. Speaking on the floor of the Senate Monday night, Mr. Grassley, Iowa Republican, cited an Aug. 4, 2017, Wells Fargo wire transaction from CEFC, a Chinese energy conglomerate, that sent $100,000 to an account controlled by Hunter Biden. “Now there is no middleman in this transaction. This is $100,000 from what is effectively an arm of the communist Chinese government direct to Hunter Biden,” the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee said. “To the liberal media and my Democratic colleagues:

Officials and witnesses described a choreographed massacre in which assailants in military uniforms arrived just after 10.30pm on Sunday night and opened fire with assault rifles at the crowds of primarily middle-aged men. Two small trucks, one of them branded with the logo for Sabritas, a potato chip company, were used to block the highway leading to the cockfighting arena. Video filmed by witnesses nearby captured the sound of machine gun fire, which could be heard several miles away.

The number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. soared by more than 1 million last year, reaching 11.4 million as of this January, according to new research released Tuesday that puts new contours on the border chaos under President Biden. The surge is the largest in two decades and is among the largest single-year increases in U.S. history, said Steven A. The Continental Congress orders that Thomas Jefferson’s draft of the Declaration of Independence “lie on the table.” … Jefferson, who enslaves hundreds of people, nonetheless includes an assertion that “all men are created equal.” Moving forward to fugitive slaves: It is September 18, 1850.
