The lack of self-awareness among the global elites is stunning. After Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau cracked down on protestors in his own country and sent his henchwoman, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, to freeze the assets of protesting truck drivers and their supporters, he traveled to Brussels to speak to the European Parliament. His theme was the threats to democracy posed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the growing distrust of governments in the West in the face of economic uncertainty. (Snip)
Speaking directly to Trudeau, he added, “Canada, once a symbol of the modern world, has become a symbol of civil rights violations under your quasi-liberal boot in recent months.

That was really beautiful, but I fear it will have no effect. In order to be a world leader, it appears one has to be a complete sociopath; oblivious to the pain one causes to others and incapable of embarrassment. Look at our politicians for other examples.

A crude analogy might have been a Columbia Law School course on Business Ethics taught by Associate Professor John Gotti. No wait, considering the moral depths to which the noble profession of law has sunk in this country that may actually have happened. Dear me, I’m not as Swiftian in satirie as I fancied myself to be. Please excuse the post.

Trudeau may be too dense to have it hit him personally, but I think the Canadians won't forget what Trudeau did and it will be used as a campaign ad against him.

Very refreshing to hear these leaders who all suffered under the Soviet boot give their opinion of the Boy Blunder...and all of these tinpot dictator wannabes had best learn the lesson that Ceaușescu didn't lest they suffer his fate. It happened once, it can happen again.

Does ''democracy'' include the government seizing peoples' bank accounts, because they are protesting against the Prime Minister's policies?

Soviet leaders used to fo this all the time. Castro practiced daily. Before a full length mirror. So, Justin came by the tactic... off-handedly...

They never would have said those things - - if Justin's dad - - Fidel - - were still alive.

It’s peculiar that none of our congress has uttered a peep about this little dictator & the ruthless hardships he’s shackled his own citizens with. It appears to be a coordinated uni-party non response.

In my long (I'll be 80 in September) lifetime I never once thought Eastern Europe would be more free than America. I'm not mad anymore, I'm sad.

What should be printed is the response by a woman from the German delegation to Trudeau. She wouldn't have allowed him into the country.

There is only one flaw in the statement from the Romanian MEP, the Neo-Marxist tyranny he references is not pretending to be progressivism. Neo-Marxism and Progressivism are the same thing.

You've got to know how far "up a creek" FJB is when the press are devoting ink to Justin Trudeau.

This article is not great. The writer is naive. Trudeau will not return to Canada demoralized, this will have zero effect upon him, and we already live under a Western oligarchy. The government of the US is corrupted and owned by oligarchs.

Thank you to Mislav Kolakusic, the Croatian member of MEP. What a wonderful, insightful, even kind man to speak up for the Truth. God bless you. Can you come here and become a Senator or House Speaker?

I appreciated the comment from MEP Terhes who called out the "IMPOSTER leaders of the west". He's absolutely correct...this chaos is on THEM. Unfortunately for us all it is planned chaos.
But it's nice to know that other leaders recognize that Mr. Brandon is a total sham and Justin Castro is a soy boy bully.
But I agree with previous posters - This "spanking" will do not one iota of good. It most likely fell on Justin's deaf ears. I agree with #3; this smackdown will make a great campaign ad, though.

If you need cheering up, read what these Eastern Europeans had to say to and about Pierre Trudeau. These people who were deprived of freedom for decades under the Soviet boot have a visceral understanding of freedom which many westerners, particularly those in government, have lost.
