Ukrainian refugees are being turned away at the U.S. southern border because asylum seekers are still subject to coronavirus-era Title 42, which allows migrants to be expelled due to the ongoing health emergency. President Joe Biden has kept the Trump-era policy in place and his administration has defended it in court in order to help quell the southern border crisis as the pandemic prevails and record numbers of migrants arrive.(Snip)The outlet said Tijuana journalists have witnessed dozens of Ukrainian and Russian families gathering outside the U.S. southern border and families in Tijuana claim Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents are selective of who they let in.

And yet literally a million other unknown background third world trash has moved freely across the border in the last year without the slightest restrictions, and ZERO effort at containment of the ChiCom virus as long as you were a Mexican, Guatemalan, Iranian, Nigerian, or literally any other country.....but now somehow being Ukranian is exclusionary? These are truly evil, deranged, mindless drones running DHS. Defunding DHS and permanently erasing it from our country should be one of the top goals of the next president.

The Daily Mail is only good for lining the bottom of a bird cage. It spins and lies constantly. Refugees are supposed to stay in the first safe country they come to which never happens because many refugees are trying to get to the US. But of course the Mail must blame a Trump policy.

Setting aside the Ukranian situation in Europe, any Ukranian crossing our southern border, by definition of the UN is NOT a refugee. Refugee status is conferred only to displaced persons fleeing to the first nearest neutral country, in Ukraines case Poland, Moldova, Slovakia and Hungary. They are expected to remain there until the cessaton of hostilities and the possibility of a safe return to their homeland. That is the UN Definition of refugee. Leaving that nearest noncombatant country makes them immigrants and they must follow all the laws any other immigrant must. Ditto with application for asylum in any but the nearest non combatant nation. The UN protocol for asylum seekers is that they flee to the nearest safe country, generally accepted as having a contiguos border with the country of origin and then making application for asylum through the receiving countries embassy. If they were refugees fleeing their homes exactly how did they end up in Mexico, they certainly did not fly there from Kiev. And under no circumstances would mexico be considered the nearest noncombatant country and furthermore once in Mexico they would be safe and should apply for either immigration or asylum through the US embassy in Mexco City. What they should NOT be doing is flying to mexico and attempting to enter the US illegaly across the southern border. There is a reason they didn't just fly into Kennedy and ask for asylum there.

The principles of queer theory have escaped from the college campus and made their way into a summer camp for children in rural Kentucky.
