Democrats have got nothing to run on for re-election. And that’s eating at the politicians who’ve been casting about for a catchy slogan that would fit on a bumper sticker and sweep the country.
Originally, the Biden people thought that “Build Back Better” would carry them to victory. But it’s become apparent that BBB is the punchline to a joke and wouldn’t be useful.
Some Democrats hit upon the brilliant slogan “Democrats Deliver!” but the White House polled the tagline and found it came in near the bottom of other suggestions.
Given what Democrats have “accomplished” so far, Republicans could easily make a mockery of that slogan. “Deliver what?” they might counter.

The bill also established a $5 million fund to offset the revenue loss of local governments.
The bill was sponsored by state Rep. Shane Stringer and cosponsored by 36 other Republicans in the state House.

The “cancelled” statue of Theodore Roosevelt that was hauled away in the dead of night from the American Museum of Natural History’s steps should be headed for the scrap heap rather than a presidential library in North Dakota, a group of woke academics and artists claims. The bronze depiction of the Rough Rider on horseback flanked by an African man and Native American, which was decried as colonialistic and racist, is slated to go to a planned Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, N.D. It was removed in January and is currently in storage in NYC. “New Yorkers cannot simply dump their toxic cultural products in other communities,”

Upset New York Times staff pressed an executive editor about the sting operation where one of the newspaper’s correspondents said media coverage of the Jan. 6 capitol riot was “overblown” and “no big deal,” according to a Politico report.NYT reporters expressed their concerns with executive editor Dean Baquet over the comments of national security reporter Mathew Rosenberg at a Thursday lunch for the paper’s Washington bureau, Politico Playbook reported Friday. Rosenberg was the target of a Project Veritas undercover operation, where he reportedly made numerous claims about the events of Jan. 6, even describing the day as “fun.”

Amid record-high inflation and gas prices, Americans may soon have another economic crisis to worry about at the dinner table: a wheat shortage.President Joe Biden and his administration have already blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin and his invasion of Ukraine for soaring gas prices and general economic mayhem. Now, with Russia and Ukraine responsible for exporting more than one-quarter of the world’s wheat supplies, shoppers in the U.S. may start to feel the pain of the war at the grocery store, too.In 2019, Ukraine and Russia combined to supply about 25.4% of the world’s wheat,

A man has been killed by police in Marseille, France, after he attacked three officers with a knife. Authorities said he repeatedly ignored warning shots and the reason for the attack, which took place at the town hall that was also a donation collection point for Ukraine, was unclear. The Mayor of Marseilles, Benoît Payan, praised the police intervention, saying: 'This is a heroic act, I dare not imagine what could have happened if they weren't there.' Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin described a 'violent attack with a knife' and said police were able to 'neutralize the victim and avoid the worst.'

Former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr said he did not believe Donald Trump would win a 2022 presidential election bid because he's petty and divisive, and that his former boss is not his pick for commander-in-chief. Barr, 71, criticized the former president during an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on Friday, admitting that he knew Trump was going to lose in 2020 because of his temper. 'He's not my idea of a president,' Barr said. 'I felt he was going to lose the election because he was not controlling himself.

The two admitted Republicans who dared to venture into the snake pit of ABC’s “The View” on Friday were put on the spot by an emotional Sunny Hostin over why they are still members of a party that has been all but declared as enemies of the state by the Biden administration. The batty banshees were once again joined by Stephanie Grisham the former press secretary for first lady Melania Trump who may or may not be auditioning for the open spot at the table for a regular conservative punching bag that was vacated after Meghan McCain quit, and predictably, the topic turned to the former president.

Climate czar John Kerry told an informal U.N. Security Council meeting on Wednesday that President Joe Biden is committed to increasing U.S. funding to developing countries by upwards of $10 billion annually to help combat the “climate crisis.”
Kerry told the meeting on “Climate Finance for Sustaining Peace and Security” U.S. taxpayer dollars will be forthcoming and placed at the disposal of the globalist body to help redistribute wealth in a time of crisis to poorer countries that need it most.
AP reports last September, he said, Biden promised to increase annual U.S. climate finance to over $11 billion, quadrupling the funding from the 2009-2017 presidency of

Fact-checks often strikeout. Sometimes they appear to be downright malicious, as was the case with the PolitiFact fact-check on Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), as I highlighted on Sunday. But then there are those which really don't make any sense. For whatever reason, USA Today's Ana Faguy thought it necessary to fact-check an article from the Babylon Bee, which most people know is a satire site. The claim in question was a social media post from March 7 that "Biden Sells Alaska Back To Russia So We Can Start Drilling For Oil There Again."
Faguy is blaming the Facebook account of "Being Libertarian," which mostly shares political articles and amusing memes.

The year 2022 is shaping up to be a good year for the electoral prospects of the loyal opposition. Two years after losing the presidency — and then watching helplessly as Donald Trump’s petulance poisoned the Republican effort to win in Georgia and keep control of the Senate — the GOP is suddenly poised for a comeback in Congress. Inflation and rising gas prices, frustration with liberal political leaders who clung to COVID-19 restrictions well past their expiration date, and concerns about how the administration is handling the twin threats of Russia and China (to say nothing

Joe Biden should be hopping mad about inflation, which rolled in at 7.9% and is destroying the purchasing power, wage gains, and savings of the citizenry even as he touts good economic times in his speeches.
Instead, he's going bonkers over the voter reaction to inflation, not the inflation itself. (Snip for tweet) "I'm sick of this stuff!" he hollered. "We have to talk about it because the American people think the reason for inflation is the government spending more money. Simply. Not. True."
Which of course is perfectly true. He's wallowing in denial about it and now thinks he can yell his way into making Americans think differently.

When evaluating candidates for the week’s top knucklehead, or in assessing any political issues, we generally try to avoid focusing on family members of a public figure. Consider that despite her best efforts, First Lady Jill Biden has never made it to the top spot. It’s also worth noting that most spouses of elected officials tend to keep a low profile. Can you remember the last time you had an opinion on Nancy Pelosi’s husband or Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s wife? But with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s husband Chasten, his actions this week were too much to ignore.

Joe Biden has shown – time and time again – that he has no compunction against lying if it means shifting the blame away from himself. We mentioned some of his lying about inflation earlier.
We’ve seen him blame everyone and everything else, rather than take the blame and take the right steps to address it. His latest excuse is Vladimir Putin, despite the fact that inflation has been raging for several months, long before Putin invaded Ukraine at the end of February. He was speaking at the House Democrats Conference in Philadelphia, and he repeated the lie, saying inflation was “largely the fault of Putin.”

China’s state-run Global Times propaganda newspaper mused on Thursday that the Chinese coronavirus may have originated in America because Americans love “vampire-themed movies,” leading them to have a “cultural” inclination to experiment with bat coronaviruses.
An editorial by the Communist Party propaganda site made the assertion in a discussion on unsubstantiated accusations by the Russian government against America, accusing the United States of experimenting on “bat coronavirus” in laboratories in Ukraine. Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, but greatly expanded its war on that country on February 24 and has since seized significant blocks of territory in the country.

NFL quarterback prospect Malik Willis is rising up team draft boards based on his talent and athleticism. But the former Liberty University signal-caller is garnering more attention for what he recently did off the field.
Following his impressive workout at the 2022 NFL scouting combine, Willis was captured on a March 3 video, posted by Twitter user Ryan Lacey, giving some clothing from his bag to a homeless woman outside the Indianapolis Convention Center, the site of the annual NFL event.

I won’t lie: I’m a Tucker Carlson fan. He is willing to speak honestly about topics others ignore, sugarcoat, or lie about. Even when I don’t agree with him, I find him worthwhile, and never more so than his Friday night monologue about Biden’s latest, terrifying power grab and how our government is destroying the American economy. It was a tour de force and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Tucker opened with something I’d meant to write about and now don’t need to: Without a single pause, the Biden administration slipped effortlessly from COVID emergency powers

I was cancelled from giving a speech at a conference at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies, because of an article I wrote published by American Thinker criticizing some major Montessori organizations for supporting the social justice movement and implementing its positions. In the cancellation letter I received, I was told that they have plans to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion training for all their instructors every year, and have asked their instructors to integrate those principles into their content area. The following is the reply I sent to them:It is clear that I was discriminated against for disagreeing with the social justice movement.

On Wednesday, CNN's Chris Cillizza was hoping, desperately hoping that this could "finally," after all this time of utter ineptitude and awkwardness, be a "Kamala Harris moment" when she jetted off to Europe to address the crises caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. You could almost see Cillizza rubbing his worry beads of concern in "Is this, finally, Kamala Harris' moment?" It's been a rough first year as vice president for Kamala Harris. Beset by staff departures and lingering questions about how good a fit she is for the job, Harris has struggled to find her political footing.

While the media is focused the conflict in Ukraine, Congress has been occupied debating another massive $1.5 trillion omnibus spending bill. This is perhaps the last of attempts by the Democrats to push their agenda through before the GOP is expected to take over early next year. The bill they have got in front of them is divided into two sections: $730 billion dedicated to total non-defense spending, and was passed with 260 votes for and 171 against.
$782 billion dedicated to defense funding, and was passed with 361 votes for and 69 votes against. Within these bills, the GOP was able to retain $2 billion of previously-allocated border wall construction funds.

Conservative leaders are rallying around National Republican Senatorial Committee chairman Rick Scott’s (R-FL) “11-Point Plan to Rescue America.”Eighty-eight conservative leaders from the Conservative Action Project signed a memo supporting Scott’s plan titled “Conservatives Applaud Sen. Rick Scott’s Plan to Rescue America.”The memo said: Politicians should tell voters what they are for, what they plan to do, and then they have to do it. This is the clarity – and the accountability – that voters want to see from their elected leaders. Conservatives should be talking about our ideas as much, if not more, than we talk about Democratic missteps and overreach.

A suspect believed to be connected to the group of spring breakers who overdosed on cocaine laced with fentanyl was arrested in Florida, police confirmed to WSVN Friday night. Police in Wilton Manors, a city located in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metro area, did not release the suspect's name or indicate their connection to the six West Point cadets who were hospitalized Thursday after overdosing on the drug. At least two of the students were football players at the military academy, located in New York. A seventh individual, only identified as a woman, was later taken to the hospital and treated, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

“CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell is in third place in the ratings, but sources at the network gripe that she’s got a first-class attitude — even as she faces getting sidelined by her sharp-elbowed, bean-counting boss.CBS News co-president Neeraj Khemlani — who has been slashing costs in a bid to make the network profitable — is eyeing O’Donnell, who reportedly makes between $6 million and $8 million a year, and whose contract is set to expire this spring, sources told The Post.“The next big decision from him is revamping the ‘Evening News,’” said a CBS insider, who explained that the network can find a cheaper alternative
