The "press" is so untruthful so often these days, it's hard to know what to believe from them. The U.S. government is full of duplicitous liars who everyone knows are lying and the "press" goes along with it. Back in the old days when Firesign Theater was so popular when I was in college, "What is reality?" became a humorous shout... but now it's a REAL question. "What is reality?"

Every hour of the day - Ukraine war and atrocities propaganda porn from the communist death democrat controlled media including the phony "fair and balanced" Fox News. All designed to divert our attention to the destructive war being waged against us in our Country by the communist death democrats and their stealth, not so stealth anymore, republican traitors in congress. Make no mistake about this false media propaganda blitzkrieg, Russia will win in the end. Don't be fooled, this is not our fight in any way and no money should be sent to Ukraine. This is all mass distraction by the communist propaganda media. No one cent, not one weapon, and no American soldiers should be sent to Ukraine. Let the Europeans deal with this. We have our own raging war to deal with right here in our own Country. Next up from the communist death democrat regime - Much higher gas prices and gas lines, food shortages, medical shortages, collapse of our economy due to out of control inflation, and mass chaos as people begin to fight over food. Our country will not survive another year under this illegal communist death democrat regime. Does anyone with half a brain really think that if the republicans take control of Congress, they will actually do anything or fight against this illegal regime?

How big can conspiracies get? Big enough to suppose that politicians and armies would bomb their own maternity hospitals and no one would leak the truth? Big enough that Putin can seem harmless? Can we mistake good for evil, or evil for good? Can annoying lefties like Simon & Garfunkle be the clock that's right twice a day?-- "All lies and jest Still a man hears what he wants to hear And disregards the rest."

How big can the conspiracies get, #5? So big that people believe that anyone who thinks differently is the enemy. So big that people believe there is a hero on one side and a villain on the other. So big that they forget they were endowed by their Creator with critical thinking skills that should have taught them the same media that told us about WuFlu, Russian collusion, and January 6 is the very media telling us who to route for in this conflict, who the good guys and bad guys are. How many will say this isn't happening, it's all a plot . . . #7? I've yet to hear even one. I only hear people questioning the narrative. And that is a very good thing.

Why have so many apparent Russia supporters come out of the woodwork lately? On every thread dealing with war in Ukraine, there are those who very condescendingly disparage the notion that Russia is a bad actor and that it is a myth that the citizens of a former Soviet Union client state may desire to join the free world. Sundance mavens have doubled down on his warning to disbelieve everything you see on TV and read on the Internet, except you must believe Sundance, the consummate DC insider. The anti-Ukraine, pro-Russia faction have started sounding like democrat politicians reading off of the daily DNC talking points. Re: #3 and #6 - Keep in mind, democrats are essentially amateur communists or communist wannabes, while Russia is the mother country of communism. There are those among us who have seen and smelled the effects of warfare on civilian populations and it is no laughing matter. Although fewer in number, some of us have gone to war against Russia-sponsored communists armed with Russia-provided weapons. Why Putin has his own A-men corner on this site is a mystery to me.

#9. This is what happens when people (who shouldn't) lie. No one knows what is true anymore. How do you believe liars? I have no doubt that there is a disastrous calamity happening now in Ukraine. I simply have no reason to believe the veracity of the reports. I know for certain that the U.S. government is hugely responsible for the rift between Ukraine and Russia. Even Vice President Biden was involved in the coup which removed President Yanukovych from office. I know that Victoria Nuland and Ambassador Pyett managed the coup and that they chose Yatseniuk to become the next Prime Minister. Threatening to bring Ukraine into NATO came from Washington, D,C, I am ashamed of our government. We invaded Iraq twice and killed or led to death over 1 million people. We bombed the city of Belgrade in 1999 to support a breakaway autonomous zone which is now the tiny country of Kosovo where we now have a U.S. Army base. We are as guilty as hell for the disaster in Ukraine.

Speaking of condescending, what is it called when you disparage those who question the Ministry of Truth as "supporters of Russia" when they are merely fellow prisoners in the mental gulag who aren't quite as willing to accept what they are told by the same folks who told us the last lie? There are no heroes in this thing. Only villains. On both sides.

Putin just before the attacks on Ukraine warned they would experience the effects of Communism and now we see it - death and destruction. Communism can not survive anywhere in the world without imprisonment or death to those who dissent. Communism is communism whether it is Russian or Chinese. They are cut from the same cloth of misery for all.

Conventional wisdom is that the 2022 midterms will be a political bloodbath for the Democrats. For starters, historically speaking, the party in power typically loses seats. But on top of that, Biden’s poor approval ratings are dragging down his entire party, and more than 30 House Democrats have announced their retirements. Nevertheless, during the Democratic National Committee’s winter meeting on Thursday, Biden insisted his party could defy history. How? All they’ve got to do is replicate their 2020 enthusiasm. “If we do that, we’re going to keep the House and keep the Senate — and add seats,” he claimed. Good luck with that.
