Americans stuck in Ukraine fled the war-torn country on buses this morning after Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded the country with a torrent of airstrikes that none of them thought would happen. DailyMail.com spoke with a group of 23 American citizens as they were being transported from Kiev to Romania in two vehicles - a minibus and a car - arranged by Bryan Stern, a 23-year Army and Navy veteran who saved 2,000 people from Kabul last year with his volunteer group Project Dynamo. He collected the American evacuees at 5am in Kiev while 'missiles fell from the sky' around them. They are now driving for 18 hours to Romania,

Russia is less corrupt than Ukraine. The country will be better off. Not only that, it will cut off the Biden family's cash cow.

Considering Feckless Joe's family business and his actions in this matter I suspect Vlad has already given Joe the 10% he requires.

So what happened to all that expensive military equipment that Biden sent over to the Ukraine? Same as the Taliban, now Russia has their hands on it?

This may get me flamed here, but the sabre-rattling over this has been going on for months and months. Any 'stranded' Americans had plenty of time to get out.

First of all, Americans were warned to leave Ukraine weeks ago. If there are still Americans there, that's on them. Second, Ukraine is not a democracy. It's been stated time and time again that the current government is authoritarian which jailed opposition leaders, and shutdown any news organization that published or broadcast any opposition news about the current government. Plus, Ukraine was never going to be a member of NATO. Members of NATO in Europe were opposed to Ukraine becoming a member. Now we know why.

And I still say that 95% of all this 'Russia Invasion' fear porn is the worldwide Media (under the orders of the Deep State and the globalists) "Wagging the Dog'
Covid is failing to keep the sheeple sufficiently scared anymore, so they have to do something to keep people frightened and off balance.
Prove me wrong.

So, what do I hear from those 'experts' here about "Putin would never invade Ukraine", and then after it happened, even questioning if it would happen.
I've been predicting this for a long time, sadly, but so many of the "experts" here and in Washington, were doing their best Neville Chamberlain impersonations.

Should have started fleeing months ago. After all, every single day Putin increased his troops. He is not there for the view!

Some of the comments here are as misinformed and disinformed as any I have ever heard anywhere on any topic.
I can tell you for a fact that Russian is 100% totally corrupt, top to bottom, front to back, every single bit of it in every way. If you think otherwise, you are misinformed. I can also tell you that Russians are vicious.

These people should have left Ukraine a couple of months ago. What were they thinking? Obviously, they weren’t.

Well, #8, what areas have the Russians invaded? It doesn't appear at the moment that they have moved forward to occupy any of Ukraine outside of those two "breakaway regions", Luhansk and Donetsk. The other reports of Russian military action are along the border destroying certain military assets. The rest is bombings of major military assets within Ukraine, but not followed by any occupying force to my knowledge.
And so, beyond the told-you-so huff-and-puff, what do you propose to do about it? Send American troops into the line? American aircraft to neutralize Russian encampments or assembly points in Russia? Take out their missile and artillery batteries? How about NATO doing the same? Or, is that too much, too far to go, too much to risk?
Not to defend Russia, but it has essentially consolidated its hold on areas generally held by "separatists" with Russian support since 2014. Territorially, it is likely Putin has what he wants on his terms. He's a "peacekeeper." And now he has NATO displaying its sputtering impotence to the world. Russian power finally trumps those who "embarrassed" Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union, particularly with the expansion of NATO into Warsaw Pact countries. Putin may be calling Biden soon to ask that musical question, "How do you like me now?".

I wish those ex-military volunteers would deploy back to America and rescue US.
