There has been no series of events more indicative of government tyranny in the name of COVID than what we’ve seen with the protest by truckers in Canada over the past several weeks. Truckdrivers who spend the vast majority of their workdays isolated in their vehicles were mandated to receive the controversial COVID vaccines, and they objected. Since then, the movement has increased in intensity and participants are no longer limited to merely truckdrivers. Arrests have been made, livelihoods have been lost, and bank accounts have been seized. And for what purpose? To force folks to receive a vaccination that doesn’t stop the spread of an endemic virus.

Comments:

Now we find out that the woman who was trampled was an Indigenous elder. Uh oh.

The horse didn't trample the indigenous woman. A Mountie on the horse directed the horse to run over the woman and as a result the horse trampled the woman. The Mountie is at fault. The horse did what the Mountie directed the horse to do. The Mountie is the criminal. In this case the Montie go the indigenous person. Shame on the RCMP.

I am generally supportive of the police...Ottawa is another question. The human garbage who make up the Orrawa police dept are the exception. Is it possible the hiring practice and indoctrination include a unit on The Marquis de Sade? The actions of the law enforcement of Canada are at best despicable, Surprisingly enough the foregoing would include the once honourable RCMP. Trudeau must be taking clues from Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, et alii.

Your father is the devil, and you do exactly what he wants. He has always been a murderer and a liar. There is nothing truthful about him. He speaks on his own, and everything he says is a lie. Thank you,#3. You beat me to it. Horses are not aggressive animals and depend on their speed for safely. They have to be rigorously trained in a “boot camp” to be used for crowd control and, given the choice, I can’t imagine that they would not prefer to be far far away from the noise and activity. I have been thrown from a horse who spooked at the sun glancing off of a shiny metal trash can. Imagine the stress put on these horses in that protest situation. The officer on its back is the one who trampled that woman.

Those were very large horses. They did not appear to be little Morgans or even quarter-horses. To me, they appear to be crosses between ordinary riding horses and big draft horses.

A Las Vegas woman was sentenced to eight to 20 years in prison Friday in the death of a 74-year-old man she shoved out the door of a bus in 2019. Last month, Cadesha Bishop, 28, pleaded guilty to abuse of an older vulnerable person resulting in substantial bodily harm or death. She had originally been charged with murder, FOX 5 of Las Vegas reported. "I’m sorry for my behavior," Bishop told the judge Friday while complaining about her portrayal in the media. "I’m sorry for the way that I was portrayed in my lowest and weakest moment of my life," she said.

San Francisco Unified School District Board of Education President Gabriela López, who lost a recall election this week, said Thursday those who supported her recall are "aligned" with White supremacists. López and two fellow board members — Vice President Faauuga Moliga and Commissioner Alison Collins — were all voted out Tuesday in a landslide, with more than 72% of voters opting to recall each of them. "So if you fight for racial justice, this is the consequence," López tweeted along with a photo of a Washington Post headline that said she and the two other recalled board members were "seen as too focused on racial justice."

San Francisco residents overwhelmingly approved of a vote Tuesday to recall three of the city’s school board members, election officials said. Critics, including San Francisco Mayor London Breed, argued the members — school board President Gabriela López, Vice President Faauuga Moliga and Commissioner Alison Collins — pushed progressive politics rather than act in the best interest of children during the pandemic, and voters agreed, according to the San Francisco Department of Elections. "The voters of this city have delivered a clear message that the school board must focus on the essentials of delivering a well-run school system above all else," Breed said in a statement after the vote.
How the Corrupt Power Of Fauci And Federal

Blame Congress for letting the federal health agencies harm the lives of millions of Americans in this pandemic. Sure, people despair about the incredible amount of influence over Congress by corporate, narrow, and biased interests. But the bigger problem has been the uncontrolled power of Fauci and federal health agencies. Congress had lost its power to offer needed alternatives to actions by Executive agencies, namely CDC, NIH and FDA. There is an important opportunity: refund the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, closed since 1995. It may be the only way to curb the powers of federal health agencies

I can usually never do Peterson justice; he’s just a uniquely gifted thinker and orator. As always, he captures what so many people feel innately but often can’t communicate.

There has been a full-on media blackout of the new study outlining the ineffectiveness of lockdowns to prevent COVID deaths. According to a Johns Hopkins University meta-analysis of several studies, lockdowns during the first COVID wave in the spring of 2020 only reduced COVID mortality by .2% in the U.S. and Europe. "While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted," the researchers wrote. "In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument."

President Biden said Monday that his administration is committed to improving the border crisis by trying to "figure out" why migrants are leaving their home countries for the U.S. in the first place. "We’re working a lot with neighboring countries. A lot to do," Biden said during a meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris and the National Governors Association (NGA) at the White House. "I think one of the fundamental things we've got to do in addition to some of the changes we'll make, which we won’t get into it today, is that if we figure out why they're leaving in the first place," the president continued.
