Putin’s ‘Days Of Tyranny And Trying

Following Russia ordering troops into two Ukrainian territories Monday, a 2019 video of then-presidential candidate Joe Biden circulated showing Biden promising that when he becomes president, he would end Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “days of tyranny” and intimidation. “Once again, Putin and the Russians are trying to engage in our elections and decide who the president’s going to be,” Biden said in a 2019 fundraising ad. “This time I’m the object of their attention. Because Putin knows if I am president of the United States, his days of tyranny and trying to intimidate the United States and those in Eastern Europe are over.”

Dems voted for Uncle Joe because he had been in government so long. They figured he must know something. The reality is, there are some in government who are totally incompetent but are in safe dem districts and they build supportive relationships with other dems. They are good party people even though they are worthless. Unfortunately, both parties have these type of people. When they have been worthless all their lives and then become senile on top of it, it can be a disaster, a la Biden.

Biden is a joke and his crew are a clown car! They should remember that during the Second World War when the liberal Democrat US President Roosevelt placed sanctions on Imperial Japan, that for all intents and purposes he also gave the war lords in Japan cause, whether valid or not, to conduct a covert air attack on the US military at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where a large number of US warships were either sunk or seriously damaged, over 3,000 Americans were killed. When that war ended, well over 110,000 Americans lost their lives along with millions of other people in Asia. Now the Democrats are claiming that not all Russians support Putin and the Russian military in their invasion of Ukraine, and therefore Russians, especially the oligarchs who are being personally sanctioned, are likely to “take Putin out” and withdraw the Russian military out of Ukraine back to their bases in Russia. I would say that is wishful thinking.

The bird apparently accosted the letter carrier Monday, prompting him to grab a pole or stick from his vehicle and fatally beat the animal with it, the Sacramento Bee reports, citing eyewitness accounts on social media app Nextdoor. The incident has prompted a probe by California wildlife officials and the US Postal Service. “We are currently launching a thorough investigation,” Meiko Patton, a local USPS spokesperson told the outlet. “Our employees have had several altercations with aggressive turkeys in the area, including a recent attack on a letter carrier.”

How many industries have been damaged or destroyed by high taxes and excessive regulation? A lot. But I have mixed feelings about this one: California cannabis industry on brink as buyers return to dealers. The cannabis industry in California is on the brink of collapse because of high taxes and onerous regulations that have burdened legal operators and allowed illegal growers to flourish, campaigners have warned. *** About 75 per cent of cannabis consumed in the state comes from illegal sources, industry figures say. They blame taxes, too much regulation and a failure to tackle illegal competition, which is free from red tape and able to offer cannabis at much lower prices.

The Supreme Court on Friday reimposed the death penalty for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, undoing a federal appeals court ruling that had dropped the sentence. In a 6-3 decision authored by Justice Clarence Thomas, the majority of justices rejected the defense's claims that a judge presiding over Tsarnaev’s 2015 trial improperly barred the questioning of prospective jurors and was wrong to exclude evidence of a different crime two years prior to the bombing. "Dzohkhar Tsarnaev committed heinous crimes,” Thomas wrote for the majority. “The Sixth Amendment nonetheless guaranteed him a fair trial before an impartial jury. He received one."
