A 40% Fatherless Nation?

Original Article

In 1941, when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and the United States entered World War II, there were 2,515,427 babies born in this country. Of those babies, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 95,700 -- or 3.8% -- were born to unmarried mothers. The traditional family led by a mother and father was a foundational fact of American culture. In 1945, the percentage of babies born to unmarried mothers rose to 4.3%. But, by 1946, the first full year after the war, it dropped back down to 3.8%. The traditional family survived. Then in the 1950s, the percentage of American babies born to unmarried mothers began to slowly tick upward,

"Why by a cow when milk is cheap or free?" Old say, still true. Women choose really, really poorly much of the time. And the whole feminism thing, too.....being empowered is having sex with random one night stands? The single best indicator of poverty is a single parent home. It's the MOST CERTAIN way to have no money, limited future, limited options in life. And huge numbers choose to be caught in a web of disaster, entirely of their own making. Life is all about choices. 40% are choosing extremely poorly.

There is a difference between being a widow or even divorced and choosing to have four children fathered by three different men who don't give a crap about their spawn. The woke must condemn married couples raising children because 90% of the black community doesn't live that way and they certainly cannot disagree with them. If you really think this is not a problem you are an idiot.

Feminism has screwed up the whole relationship between the sexes. Add in the false narrative of the oppression of women which resulted in every government program from kindergarden to college being geared toward advancing girls at expense of boys, and you now have a generation or more of females thinking they can have it all simply because they're female. Trouble is, mother nature is still playing by the old rules. I know a lot of young men in their mid-twenties. They find many of today's young women pushy and somewhat obnoxious, so they've decided to concentrate on their jobs instead. They don't avoid contact with girls, but in those moments when they think I'm not listening, they comment that in some cases, it wasn't them that brought up the topic of having sex, it was the girl's idea.

The Media kind of culture we have permits "sexual activity" as an activity we all do - with anyone anyone (male or female). The nation's welcome of immorality (a rejection of God) is destroying us. And it is not getting better.

This issue should be talked about ad infinitum as it is probably the single most important reason as to why so many children raised in Fatherless homes turn out to be thugs, drug dealers, drug users, and are always getting into trouble preying on innocent people. A home without a Father is not a home. There is a complete lack of morality in our society as a result the left demonizing anyone who connects the dots on the horrible outcomes of Fatherless children. It would be grossly redundant to say the left doesn't give a damn about the inevitable path these kids go down without a Father or other male role model in the home. The lack of or inability of people to speak out about this generational problem just creates an endless loop of failure. Progressive left policies have kept Blacks from succeeding since the 60's. The left is absolutely ok with this perpetual problem.

Saw this on Newsmax earlier this afternoon - some bill to help fatherless boys in Florida is working its way through the legislative process. The person hawking it didn't say exactly what the bill would do: more money, what exactly? I don't begrudge him and others wanting to help but not with our tax dollars. These children, i.e., whoever is raising them, already get plenty of tax dollars via Medicaid, WIC, EBT cards, etc. As far as I am concerned, use our tax dollars to build orphanages, etc to house the boys, train and educate them to be proactive young men and stop with the handouts that fail everyone.

I don't like these kinds of articles because they are usually an excuse to blame women. Why aren't men equally at fault for "fatherlessness?" After all, they are the fathers. Both men and women should be expected to delay having children until they are married. The men who have children by multiple mothers and effectively abandon them are let off the hook while the women are blamed for having picked losers.

Claiming single parent status enables federal support for unofficially married moms as well as committed bachelorette moms. For many this is a well established strategy that has been going on for years. Unfortunately for many other moms it is out of necessity as they have no help and are unable to provide for themselves and their children. Federal programs were intended for them, but they have become an income source to be maximized as part of a lifestyle choice.

Two weeks ago, PJ Media covered the growing scandal of the finances of Black Lives Matter. The group had raised $90 million and spent less than $30 million on “social justice” causes. The scandal is that no one appears to be in charge of that remaining $60 million. The Black Lives Matter board members who were supposed to be running the foundation denied they had anything to do with it. CharityWatch Executive Director Laurie Styron said that BLM was like a “giant ghost ship full of treasure drifting in the night with no captain, no discernible crew, and no clear direction.” To the rescue comes the Bill and Hillary Clinton cavalry.

Anytime you go to the grocery store, chances are you can’t help but notice the supply-chain crisis that has made life difficult for everyday Americans over the past few months. Some of the problems with our supply chain stem from the backlog at the ports in Los Angeles and Long Beach. Staffing issues, environmental regulations, and, well, California just being California, have made the situation worse. Thankfully, not all supply-chain traffic travels through California. Ports in the Southeastern U.S. have worked hard to help relieve the supply-chain crisis. The Port of Savannah on the Georgia coast is one example. January marked the 18th consecutive record month for the port.

After previously dodging questions about the bombshell revelations in Special Counsel John Durham’s latest filing, Hillary Clinton has finally gone on record to respond. According to the twice-failed presidential candidate, Donald Trump and Fox News are “desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones.” According to a motion filed Friday by Special Counsel John Durham, lawyers for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign allegedly paid a technology company to “infiltrate” servers that belonged to Trump Tower and, later, the Trump White House “for the purpose of gathering derogatory information about Donald Trump.” “Trump & Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones.

LEESBURG, Virginia — A Loudoun County, Virginia, judge struck down the mask mandate imposed by the Loudoun County School Board (LCSB) Wednesday evening, immediately allowing students to attend class without masks. In a lawsuit that saw the administration of Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) join forces with parents against the school district, Loudoun County Circuit Court Judge James P. Fisher decided to grant an emergency injunction in the mandate after weighing arguments from parent plaintiffs’ counsel, Attorney General Jason Miyares’s (R) office, and LCSB. “Today is a great day for Virginia’s parents and kids,” Youngkin said in a press release.

The midterm elections are still 10 months away but Democrats in Congress have been panicking about their prospects. They aren’t good. The voters are exhausted by COVID restrictions, worried about inflation, and uncertain that the president is up to the task of governing. When politicians get into trouble, the first thing they think about is how to throw money at the voters to distract them from their problems. Accordingly, Democrats in Congress are looking to ease the high cost of gas at the pump by suspending the 18-cent-a-gallon federal gas tax.

On Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) issued a statement touting the amazing rebound in the state’s tourism industry in 2021. As other states persisted in their draconian lockdowns over the pandemic, Florida became the ultimate destination for those seeking liberty, normalcy, and a real vacation—even for those implementing forced quarantines. The numbers are staggering. Florida enjoyed an influx of 117.7 million domestic visitors in 2021. Further, in the third and fourth quarters of 2021, tourism numbers beat the same periods in 2019, before the pandemic. This demonstrates that Florida has not just rebounded, but exceeded its pre-pandemic reputation as a vacation destination — and a destination for those seeking liberty.

Think you live too far from the Mexican border to be hurt by the chaos there? Bloomfield is a picturesque village in central Connecticut, 3,500 miles from the Mexican border. But illegal drugs flowing across that border nearly killed a 16-year-old student at Bloomfield High School two weeks ago. He tried marijuana, not knowing it was laced with fentanyl. Police rushed to the school nurse's office and administered two doses of Narcan just in time to save him. Responding to the surge in teen overdoses, Connecticut's Gov. Ned Lamont is asking, "How did this happen? How is there more fentanyl on the streets than ever before?" Look south, Governor.

Some days ago, John Durham dropped a bombshell filing that confirmed what has been suspected for years – that Hillary Clinton used operatives to spy on Donald Trump. More disturbing, though, was the revelation that those who were passing her information were exploiting a prior Pentagon contract to actually monitor the Executive Office of the President after Trump’s inauguration (click here for my take on why that happened). All of that was funneled through Perkins Coie, the now-infamous law firm which employed the currently indicted Michael Sussman. Now, a new report from Fox News says that Durham’s investigation is “accelerating,” and that it is also targeting “other matters”
