There is something fishy in Montecito. A putrid smell is said to have inundated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s $14.65 million, nine-bedroom, 19-bathroom mansion, according to several reports. Neighbors in the upscale Santa Barbara community “disgusted” by the pungent fragrance have reportedly complained about the issue to no avail.

This sounds like the story of the woman who got revenge on her cheating husband and his new wife by letting the former husband have the house, but only after she filled the curtain rods with dead fish. When the new wife could not get rid of the smell she demanded they buy a new house. Former husband gives the house back to former wife, and former wife replaces the curtain rods.

Probably several of their nineteen bathrooms, seldom if ever used, have dried out sanitary drain traps and they are emitting sewer gas. I mean, how do you consistently put water into those drains because there is no f'n way those two nitwits either use that many bathrooms or have any idea how a house works

My memory of Montecito tells me that their mansion is nowhere near the bird refuge. They are in upper Montecito near Oprah and all the fat fat faux celebrities. The bird refuge is south Hwy 101 adjacent to the most westerly part of Montecito. The estates are above East Valley Road in the most easterly part of Montecito, miles away.

Wealthy people often live in areas where septic systems are common. Malibu has many mansions on septic, this by design. Once sewers are installed it is easier to build lower cost housing. Housing tracts using septic are not possible because of groundwater contamination. So, places like Malibu use this to keep out the hoi polloi. Harry's septic has gone awry.

I have to laugh. Ten bathrooms over the count of nine master suites, the saunas, double kitchen set up with prep and cleanup sinks...what is the fixture count on toilets, lavatories, tubs, showers, dishwashers, sinks, clothes washers, etc. that went into the calculation to determine the size of the septic tank and leech field? They might have made an error in their math. Shoulda done that old due diligence thingy.

Four Senate Republicans failed to show up to vote on an amendment that would have defunded President Joe Biden’s remaining vaccine mandates, thus ensuring its failure. The Senate voted on Sen. Mike Lee’s (R-UT) amendment to the continuing resolution (CR), which would defund Biden’s remaining vaccine mandates. The measure failed 46-47, with Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Jim Inhofe (R-OK), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Richard Burr (R-NC) failing to show up, depriving Senate Republicans a potential majority to pass the amendment to the CR.

It seems even the most prestigious legal institution in the land is not immune to COVID, that is the politics of it all. The Court did strike down the employer-based COVID vaccine mandate the Biden administration was pushing that was going to be enforced by OSHA. Yet, it didn’t come before we all saw how wrong the liberal wing of the Court was on the issue. I’m not talking about legal differences. I’m talking about facts. Justice Sonia Sotomayor claimed that 100,000 kids were hospitalized with COVID and on ventilators. She also said Omicron was just as deadly as Delta. Not true.

Experts are warning that an increase in buried bodies as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic could be having an impact in the environment. In the U.S. alone, the number of people who have died with COVID-19 exceeded 900,000 this month and the number is increasing all the time. Around the world, the death toll is over 5.8 million according to the World Health Organization (WHO), though some estimates of excess mortality—a measure comparing all deaths recorded with those expected to occur—have put that figure close to 20 million. What this means is that burial facilities have faced unprecedented pressure as they attempt to allocate space and resources to store the bodies

Democrats are beginning to want change in the White House, whether it is a new strategy since the administration has minimal accomplishments or new top staffers surrounding President Joe Biden. The report stated that the president’s message isn’t resonating with Americans. His party’s chances of keeping their congressional majority are slim, his Build Back Better plan is dead, he failed at fixing the Chinese coronavirus, and inflation is on the rise.
