New Texas voting rules causing high number
of ballot rejections

Original Article

Election supervisors in Texas have warned that new stricter voter ID requirements ahead of next month’s state governor’s primary have already resulted in an uncharacteristically high number of ballot rejections. Voting rights activists have expressed fears that new laws making access to the vote more difficult–that have been passed in many states across the US by Republicans–will impact Democrat-leaning voters of color. According to officials in media reports, as many as 40% of roughly 3,600 returned ballots in Harris county, Texas’ most populous county that incorporates Houston, have lacked the identification number required under Senate Bill 1, a Republican-sponsored bill designed to tie voters to valid IDs.

Comments:

Disallowing voter fraud is fundamentally un-American, say the communists, pointing to the poor disenfranchised blacque eternal victims they use as human shields to mask their crime.

Well, early voting in Texas really doesn't start until Monday. I guess the Dem ballot mules just didn't read up on the law before they went over to Kinko's and started printing fake ballots.

They meant to say a bunch of invalid and illegal ballots have been appropriately and legally rejected for the first time leading to a cleaner and more accurate election. Exactly what the left hates.

I salute you with my middle finger. Of course there will be more rejections! If they don't qualify, they should be rejected! That's the point! If the voter didn't follow the rules... if the voter isn't registered in the area... if the voter is not a citizen... Rejections mean someone is WATCHING!!!

Mail in ballots in Texas now require you to identify who you are, and provide a physical address, and you have to be over 65, or physically impaired. Harris County, without any legal authority, mailed mail in ballots to everyone in the county in 2020. The mass mailings were voted by mules dropping them off at drop in boxes 24/7. Harris County had 100's of thousands of votes by anonymous, thousands living at the same address, many dead, and many not living in Harris County. Now you know why Harris County is a Democrat run city, a landfill. The city is filthy, as all the taxes go to Democrats. The taxpayers have funded the roads and schools time over time, and still the city never spends any of it on anything but Democrats and their friends.

I have no doubt that of-colors in large numbers are purposely gaming the system to get some judge nullify ID requirements. Too bad. If they want to play it that way then they don't get to vote. Of-colors is where Democrat election fraud is centered.

" ... Voting rights activists ... " those are the only words in this whole paragraph that mean anything - of course "voting rights activists" will express "fears" that the "new stricter voter ID requirements" are not going to allow the illegals and other such members of the population to vote when they have no right to vote - the commie "voting rights activists" are going bonkers because people like us are fighting back and are pursuing their legal rights which are given to us by our Constitution.

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with voter disenfranchisement-- Its called "follow the directions". Those who screw up will be notified on what happened and how to fix it and will be allowed time to take care of the problem. Sort of like the kid in math class who did the odd problems when the assignment was to do the "even" ones! By having the right information on the application, there is security in know the voter is actually ON the voter rolls. A wife cannot get a ballot for her husband, HE has to get one for himself-- another check on preventing ballot fraud the ballot by mail applications!

Washington—Federal safety regulators say they will retain power to approve Boeing 787 airliners for flight rather than return that authority to the aircraft maker, which hasn't been able to deliver any new Dreamliner planes since last May because of production flaws. The Federal Aviation Administration said it told Boeing of its decision Tuesday. The FAA said that once deliveries of 787s resume, it will perform final inspections and retain power to clear each new plane until it is confident that Boeing’s quality control and manufacturing “consistently produce 787s that meet FAA design standards.” It also said Boeing must have a plan for handling planes that need reworking.

Ukraine has been under constant attack from Russian and Kremlin-backed hackers since Moscow's 2014 annexation of Crimea. Cyber espionage, damage to databases and servers, disruption to power and communications and disinformation are all now routine weapons in the Russian armoury. Lyme disease could become a thing of the past as scientists believe they may soon be able to stop ticks transmitting the bacterial infection. US experts have found a way of editing the genes of the spider-like creatures, which feed on blood. It opens the possibility to researchers being able to alter parts of a tick's DNA that helps them carry and transmit the disease-causing bacteria. And the discovery could pave the way for genetically-engineered ticks, which are unable to spread illness, to be released into the wild. A similar tactic has already been used on mosquitoes as part of trials to cut the spread of malaria

Wholesale inflation in the United States surged again last month, rising 9.7 percent from a year earlier in another sign that price pressures remain high at all levels of the economy. The producer price index for final demand, which measures inflation before it reaches consumers, jumped 1 percent last month after climbing just 0.4 percent in December, the Labor Department said on Tuesday. Companies facing higher wholesale and raw materials costs have shown no hesitation to pass along the higher prices to consumers, and the latest data suggests that further increases are coming at the retail level. At least 130 congregations have quietly walked away from the United Methodist Church in a schism over the denomination’s planned acceptance of same-sex marriage and homosexual clergy. The breakaway congregations are keeping their church property thanks to a “conscience clause” enacted by the group’s legislative assembly in 2019. The United Methodist Church General Conference, the church’s governing body, is expected this year to approve a separation plan that would create two denominations: one affirming bans on gay clergy and same-sex marriage, and one permitting homosexual clergy and same-sex marriage.
