Jennifer Sey, former USA gymnast and the brand president of Levi's has revealed she has been fired for repeatedly speaking out against draconian COVID restrictions in schools, and turned down $1million in severance pay that she was offered on the condition she wouldn't publicly share why she had been ousted. Sey, 52, has repeatedly spoken out against school shut-downs and mask mandates since the start of the pandemic.(Snip)She stopped speaking out in November, after being told she was on track to become the next CEO, but says she told last month it was 'untenable' for her to stay because outside detractors put pressure on the company to fire

Levi's hasn't gotten a penny from me or mine in over 30 years, when they went political and started manufacturing outside the USA, but I'd stop buying their products all over again if they could.

I did also #1. How could she conclude anything in Denver is normal?

Same as #1. As a kid, up until the 90s, I wore Levis exclusively. When they went all pro-homosexual, I stopped buying. I HAD been using Carhart jeans for years, now will be seeking another brand as Carhart is now just the same sort of insane leftist crap as Levis.
Maybe Wrangler.....
So, the rich MUST have the children poisoned with these mRNA shots. Willing to keep her quiet to the tune of $1 million. They really do want us all dead.

As a kid born in the 1940's I wore button fly 501 Levi's daily - but when they stepped on their dick in the early 2000's with all the political crap, I kicked them to the curb and never looked back. F Levi Strauss & Co.

wore Levis all my life...until they declared war on the NRA/2nd amendment.
Wear Wranglers now.(George Strait/Classic/original cut)
"Back in the day", you could go get measured at the Levi's Home Store in SF, and they would make you jeans to your exact measurements, same cost. Needed more? Just send a letter or phone in the order, be ready in a couple weeks..

Wondering if there are any lawyers out there willing to sue Levi. Wrongful termination would be a place to start then maybe hostile work place and throw in discrimination. Could be quite profitable.

They make the worst fitting jeans ever! I only wear Wrangler! The only Jean to wear with cowboy boots! It’s what bull riders wear and that is good enough for me! Yee Haw!!!

The Levi brand made it clear some years ago that it considers homosexual behvior as normal. A wrong statement and a simply wrong idea. Let them go. Buying a pair of pants elsewhere is not difficult.

I reluctantly did the same as #1, but about 20 years ago. I liked their jeans best; but their socio-political activism became too hard to dismiss. Shut up and sew jeans...

Buy the jeans. Take tags off (but save for returning). Return the jeans for full refund. Over and over and over.

Stopped buy Levi jeans years ago. I've been buying my jeans from LL Bean for the last couple of years. Good quality, and they fit well.

I can’t remember the last time I even owned a pair of jeans, but I know for certain that they weren’t Levis.

I have been buying Levi jeans almost exclusively for the last 55 years. Never again.

I quit Levi’s decades ago when they went all gay and gun control. Been wearing Wrangler pro rodeo since. Much better jeans, half the price.
And I feel good about my purchases.

This is good to know. There are alternatives to Levi's: Lee Jeans and Wrangler's. Wranglers is the true cowboy jeans. Of course there's all kinds of designer jeans. When I have a choice, I do make brand decisions considering the corporation's values and support of freedom of expression.
Mussolini, the "father of facism" is quoted as saying: “Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power”. It is not a stretch to claim that corporations that do not allow freedom of expression are, in fact, facist.

Well the brand gives you a subtle warning with the fact that their name (Levi) is an anagram for "Evil" and "Vile". Given their current proclivities I'm surprised they haven't put a zipper on the butt of their jeans.

Another ex-Levi's Wrangler fan here, but from back in the 80's, when Levi's doubled in price. I'm cheap, though. I buy the Rustler subbrand. Six at a time. On sale.

FTA: "She was told to stop making public comments about the lockdowns and was branded 'racist'"
Public school lockdowns had a disparate impact on minorities. When the teachers' unions shut down the public schools, the rich, upper-middle income, and even most middle income families could afford to send their kids to private schools that remained open. A disproportionate number of minorities are low income and could not. So, people who support lockdowns are the racists.

Levi's has gone all WOKE. Their latest all woke ads resemble the united colors of Benneton ads featuring every race and color running wild saving the planet "buying better". Apparently buying Levi's will save the planet. Whatever..... They are expensive, ill fitting jeans for young people of color. As part of saving the planet, you must submit to the COVID mandates. If you don't, you don't fit the Levi's profile.

A lovely woman in a Montana jeans store told me that real cowboys no longer wear Levi’s because of the seams in the legs. (There used to be just one seam down the outer leg) She said real cowboys wear Wranglers. I’m sure that at least one LDotter wants to be a real cowboy….
