Russia says it is WITHDRAWING some troops

Russia says some troops are being withdrawn from the Ukraine border and sent back to their home bases in what could be the first sign of a climbdown by Putin - or another of the strongman's deceptions ahead of an attack.Moscow's defence ministry said today that units of the Southern and Western military command - which covers occupied Crimea and the Ukraine border region - are being loaded on to rail and road transports and moved away having 'completed their tasks' after training drills. But that message stands at stark odds with briefings out of Washington overnight that Russian troops are actually being moved closer to the border -

Seems like I remember the Russians sending all kinds of aircraft screaming at our bases in Germany back in the '70s. Our response was to scramble our planes to intercept them. Just before they engaged the approaching aircraft, the Russians would break off and head home. Probably laughed the whole way home. The next day we did the same thing to them. Training mission, don't you see? Really expensive. Scrambling fighters is not cheap or easy.

"Is it just another one of Putin's deceptions".....how about this...Is it just another one of the Biden regime's deceptions? This week Durham released some information indicating that Hillary Clinton and her campaign spied on Trump before and during the election as well as while he was president with the full knowledge of Obama and Biden. This is very bad for the current regime and a little "wag the dog" episode like a Russian invasion of Ukraine is just what Biden needed to take the focus off the treason committed by the democrat party and their enablers in the left wing media. It's a classic head fake.

Putin has successfully taken two big bites out of Ukraine, and invaded and keeps about 1/3 of the tiny country of Georgia. Putin does what he thinks he can get away with.....and he has gotten away with this sort of illegal, military three times so far, why not another? Nothing that Demented, Stupid Joe says or will do now makes a difference. In some ways, similar to Hitler's early 'conquests', and the USA and European powers did nothing then, too. Giving the Ukrainians effective anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles, which was done at some level recently, MAY have a deterrent effect. Nothing else that the fool in the White House has said or done has been of any significance. I'm not sure what the quantities of missiles supplied were, hopefully adequate numbers to turn many Russian tanks and aircraft into burning wreckage.

Map in the article shows the Ukraine in an economic vise because it is surrounded by Russian army and naval forces. Which may mean that Putin does not have to invade in order to drive the country to its knees. Without the ability to import manufactured goods and consumer products while prevented from exporting its agricultural products, how does a poor country like Ukraine survive? And if commercial airlines continue to curtail their cargo flights into/out of Kiev, Putin’s siege of Ukraine could result in capitulation without an invasion. What Putin gains from turning Ukraine into a territory little different than our Puerto Rico remains to be seen.

Here’s a quick quiz: How do we know the new developments in special counsel John Durham’s investigation are important? Answer: Because the New York Times and Washington Post claim they aren’t important. Big Media’s messengers for the Deep State are nothing if not consistent. For years they sold the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax as the greatest story ever told. And now that the entire story is being unmasked as a figment of Hillary Clinton’s presidential ambition, the same suspects insist there’s nothing to see here. Move along, they say.

Saget was found dead aged 65 of a brain bleed on January 9 in his hotel room at the Orlando Ritz-Carlton. His death was ruled an accident with no signs of foul play. Members of the leftist media have been working overtime in an effort to minimize and discredit the shocking new revelations from special counsel John Durham’s probe into the origins of the Russia collusion hoax that Hillary Clinton was allegedly behind a spying operation conducted against former President Donald J. Last week’s court filings by the intrepid “bulldog” federal investigator have sent shockwaves through the political establishment as they appeared to confirm Trump’s claims that he had been illegally spied on by forces working for powerful Democrats seeking to sabotage his historic presidency.
