President Biden on Thursday said his search for a nominee to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Stephen G. Breyer is focused on four Black women. He started the search with at least a dozen Black women on his list. “What I’ve done is I’ve taken about four people and done a deep dive on them, meaning thorough background checks to see if there’s anything in their background that would make them not qualified,” Mr. Biden said in an interview with NBC News’ Lester Holt. The president described his shortlist of nominees as “well qualified.” “They were honor students, they come from the best universities, they have experience,

Questions to the nominee:
What makes you think that because you are black and female that you are the best person available to decide what the Constitution means?
Why do you think someone who is not black and female was not worthy of being nominated for the position?
Is it only because you are black and female that you are here before us?
What part of the Constitution requires someone to be black and female for them to interpret it?
Etc.

"About" four people? He's not sure? What am I saying, of course he's not. Is that "deep dive" as good as the one he did on kamala?

Capabilities aside, the nominee will always be known as " the token".

Black women have been such an outstanding success as DA's and prosecutors. What could go wrong?

Is it legal to consider a candidate for a federal position based solely on gender and race? I thought that was unconstitutional per the 14th amendment to the constitution, which the SCOTUS is sworn to uphold. It is hard to decipher what the law is with Democrats saying anything they don't like is broken, and the Republicans declining to demand the law be enforced against Democrats, leaving the Democrats to do as they please.

You must be black and female, to be considered by President Ice Cream as qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice nominee.

Did BLM do Joe’s deep dive for information on these women? The fact that the old coot has based his primary qualification on sex and race, makes it unconstitutional on its face, but when did Democrats give any credence to the Constitution? They are lawless thugs perverting justice and the Constitution as they see fit. The entire lot of them are anti-American zealots driven by their insane perversions and goal of total transformation of this country. This whole administration stinks of Obama.

The Supreme Court is no place for "Affirmative Action"! Can anyone argue that point? Anyone?
It has most certainly failed at the Dept of Defense.

Oh, yes. Kamala is a good example of a "qualified" black woman. You sure know how to pick them. I have a couple of suggestions of really intelligent qualified women: Condoleza Rice, Carol Swain, Candace Owens, or maybe even Winsome Sears.

How embarrassing for those four women to be singled out by their lady parts and skin color.
Undoubtedly, this shame will cause bitterness and hatred against those on the court who were selected on merit and the content of their character. Michelle Obama didn’t mean to admit this, but she wrote about how hard it was for her, a mediocre intelligence, to go to an unearned spot at Princeton. She struggled to keep up with the students who belonged and just could not cut it.
Such is the fruit of affirmative action.

Imagine the "behind the door" political battle going on right now among the Democrats! THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE, so there is probably a lot of dirt on each of the candidates coming to the surface and the real question is how deep it can be buried. Since the amount of dirt to hide increases with the amount of public exposure, some mystery candidate with minimum experience is the most likely choice. No matter, leftist justices all vote as a bloc so if there is at least one who is capable of submitting opinions then the rest don't need any qualifications.

The same Democrats who expressed outrage about a supposed secret Republican "litmus test" on where a nominee stood on killing unborn babies have no qualms whatsoever about a kraft paper test for skin tone or a DNA test for sex that's admitted right up front. That's because they're the party for thinking people.
