Why Biden Will Pick a Radical Replacement
for Breyer

Original Article

The Democrats are facing a grim November if they can’t find some way to energize their increasingly disillusioned base. Consequently, they regard the retirement of Justice Stephen Breyer from the Supreme Court as a golden opportunity to rekindle enthusiasm among their voters. President Biden, having already committed to replacing Breyer with an affirmative action hire, is all but certain to nominate a far left radical in order to provoke a confirmation brawl with the GOP as the midterms approach. The Republicans, however, have little to gain by trading punches in such an altercation. They would be wiser to employ a “rope-a-dope” strategy.

With Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) out recovering from his stroke, (all best wishes there) it seems to be a 50-49 Republican Senate so, Why should the Republicans help pResident Asterisk get anything done?

The Republicans need to fire up their base too, you idiots!!!! Whenever a conservative nomination is made by a Republican president, the Demon-Rats attack with every dirty trick and question in the book!!! The Demon-Rats are going to brand the Republicans as "racists" before the first question is asked. So fight back for a change and put them on the defense for a change!!!!! It's time for the Republicans to fight with that same passion!!!! I am so tired of the Republi-Can'ts "playing nice" for political expediency. Show some spine!!!

You really need to start referring to him as "Biden" because it's whoever is pulling his strings that's making the decision. This is the most amazing fake presidency ever perpetrated. Not just that they pulled it off but that they can keep up the pretense this long.

If Biden is told to pick Childs, she will be confirmed. Jackson on the other hand may spark a Kavanaugh like hearing. The Republicans are tired of the race card being played and they should ignore and and all racial slurs. IMHO Kammie does not have the aurthority to case the 41st vote on a confirmation, so it could get wild.

Republicans have been playing rope-a-dope since FDR and so we have totalitarian socialism. The GOP needs to be extinct so that a fighting party can emerge that will destroy every attempt that the left makes to advance their agenda.

Four blue states preparing to ditch mask mandates 4 replies

Yesterday, Allahpundit pointed out one of the early cracks in the blue wall of support for mask mandates, particularly in public schools. New Jersey’s governor seemed to be ready to throw in the towel and stop fighting public sentiment on the issue. Well, shortly after that, the push to put an end to the mandates appeared to start spreading faster than the Omicron variant. Three more blue state governors joined Phil Murphy in saying that mandates would be coming to an end either this month or in March. Oregon, Connecticut, and Delaware jumped on the bandwagon, with the governors of those states sounding suspiciously like the protesters

President Joe Biden will launch a slate of new actions Thursday aimed at combating rising crime and gun violence in major metropolitan areas across the country. Biden will announce the new programs during a visit to New York City on Thursday with Mayor Eric Adams and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul."The President is committed to serving as a strong partner for communities on the frontlines of the fight against crime. That’s why his American Rescue Plan gives cities and states historic levels of funding that they can use to put more cops on the beat, and invest in community-based violence prevention and intervention programs," the White House said in a statement.

The rush to blame every instance of hate on the right is hardly a new phenomenon. Things are so absurd that we’ve even seen the rise in black-on-Asian hate crimes attributed to Donald Trump saying “China virus.” You know, because minority groups in New York City and San Francisco are renowned for taking their political cues from Trump. Still, despite more noose hoaxes than one can count, the left can always be counted on to jump to conclusions, and those conclusions usually involve pointing the finger at MAGA. That happened again recently after commuters noticed a series of hand-drawn swastikas on the outside of Union Station in Washington, DC.

If you’re a Democrat, things are going very, very badly for you. And it’s not going to get better. According to a recent McLaughlin and Associates study, 65 percent of likely voters believe that the United States is on the wrong track. That’s hardly surprising considering the multitude of poor decisions the fascists in charge have made since taking power. The McLaughlin study also showed that Joe Biden’s approval rating has crumbled to 41 percent, which is high compared to Quinippiac’s 33 percent. NBC poll numbers were so bad that noted corporate propagandist and regime cheerleader, Chuck Todd, who masquerades as a journalist for that network

The National Governors Association (NGA) held its winter meeting in Washington, D.C. on January 28 – 31. It was the first time in two years the group of the country’s governors met in Washington because of the pandemic. The bipartisan group found two areas in which to agree – it is time to move ahead with living with COVID-19, and Joe Biden receives failing grades for his performance in office. Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, a Republican, is chair of the group. He told the White House that governors want the CDC to provide clear guidance on ways for states to transition from pandemic to endemic status.

There’s been a rather weird dance going on among Democratic elected officials around the country this winter in terms of how to frame their message in terms of COVID mandates. It seems to have slowly dawned on them that people are fed up with both the pandemic and the restrictions that have been imposed on them, with significant majorities of people just wanting life to “get back to normal.” But at the same time, many officials are frightened out of their wits that they will be blamed if they “don’t do enough” and even a single additional person dies from COVID.

These days, the Biden White House talks a lot about the border. At press briefings, there are many questions about the border. But it's the Russia-Ukraine border. Meanwhile, the situation on the U.S.-Mexico border is deteriorating daily. Two new developments. One, we are learning more about the administration's covert effort to relocate thousands of illegal border-crossers — single, adult males, not families — into the nation's interior. We'll talk about that today. And tomorrow, the second development — new information about the changing makeup of the thousands of people crossing the border illegally each month. First, the relocation effort.
Biden’s Inert COVID-19 Strategy 5 replies

A growing number of public health experts have recommended that the Biden administration update its COVID-19 strategy. It is increasingly obvious that an approach based on the President’s pledge to “shut down the virus” will fail. The emerging consensus among epidemiologists is that elimination of the virus is unlikely and that it will probably evolve into an endemic malady, like influenza, that circulates in the population at a relatively manageable level. This consensus has been largely ignored by the Biden administration because updating its approach to COVID-19 would mean relinquishing the political power associated with the perpetual “public health emergency,” and replacing several incompetent public health advisors.

They are a versatile fashion accessory and a staple in every woman's wardrobe. But now researchers say wearing ladies tights on your face could slash your risk of getting Covid. One of the criticisms aimed at commonly worn face coverings is that they do not fit tightly enough to significantly block viral particles from being inhaled or exhaled. As part of a new study, Cambridge University experts reviewed a variety of DIY hacks people have used to make masks fit better, including using rubber bands or tape. Curiously, they found the most effective tactic was to wrap pantyhose around the bottom half of the face—on top of a mask.

'Especially now that people have more capacity to move where they want, that will be a higher priority for some,' he added.
