President Joe Biden’s top science adviser, Eric Lander, bullied and demeaned his subordinates and violated the White House’s workplace policy, an internal White House investigation recently concluded, according to interviews and an audio recording obtained by POLITICO.
The two-month investigation found “credible evidence” that Lander — a Cabinet member and director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy who the White House touts as a key player in the pandemic response — was “bullying” toward his then-general counsel, Rachel Wallace, according to a recorded January briefing on the investigation’s findings.

Isn't that more-or-less a requirement for Democrat big wigs to be jerks and bullies to their subordinates?

I recall on Day 1 of the Regency FJB said he would fire anyone on the spot who mistreated anyone else - no ifs, ands, or buts.
I’m sure he has forgotten that pledge- after all the word of a Biden ain’t worth the air it’s spoken on.

yes, #1, and i have a rather half-baked theory about that, now looking quite credible,,,, as ' fauscism'.
leftoids lust for empire-building but are too mediocre, untrustworthy, and lazy for such endeavours in the real world.
.
therefore, they fetch up in gov ;t offices to garner $ and power-- by terrorising the workers out, and bringing their craven minions in.

Yeah, I remember "Circle Back" saying the same thing in one of her first press briefings, #4. It won't happen, though. Dems are allowed not to follow through on the pronouncements they utter.
While they like to sound "virtuous" they are never expected to actually be virtuous.

So, if this is true, then Brandon should be immediately and from this point forward called out as full of crap.
It should become a steady public drumbeat that ends only when he's gone. And not one day before.

If it's true, who cares; if it isn't true, who cares?

It seems every time there is a Democrat in the White House, the staff (both household and government) are treated like servants and disposable trash. The Clintons, the Obamas and now the Bidens come to mind.
Republicans ... From Nixon, Ford, Reagan, the Bushes (43 & 41), and Trump all treated their staff with respect. Sure, if somebody dropped the ball (especially on the west wing side), there might be something to say about it, but every story I've heard about mistreatment of WH employees usually came from the Dem side of the aisle.
And the stories about Congressional Dems ... well. I remember one story I read. It was while Congress was on recess and members are back in their districts. Offices and hallways are pretty quiet. A Rep. congress staff gets a knock on the door. It was the Dem. staff of a well-known lady Congresscritter asking if they had a knife they could borrow to cut a birthday cake for one of their staffers.
Lending the knife, the Rep staffer said, I'm surprised you don't have a knife in your break room. To which the Dem staffer said, "Well, with Rep. X , having sharp knives around probably isn't a good idea).
