COVID-19 may be a novel virus, but it is proving itself a virus nonetheless by doing what viruses are wont to do — surviving. And in order to survive, a virus can’t afford to keep killing its hosts. It adapts. It weakens in ferocity as it increases in transmissibility. Mankind’s curious nature has produced many a vaccine to help halt a viral event. Smallpox comes to mind. The COVID vaccine hasn’t produced that success yet, although as this particular vaccine technology advances, it will surely get there in the future.

Wrong Kira. This never has been about health. This has always been about controlling the population, something democrats just love. Now we are finding out that all their control methods are actually hurting people in big ways. I cannot wait for the dance to begin, the one where they do the democrat two step shuffle, trying to back out of their corner.

In the history of mankind, smallpox is the only human virus that we have managed to eradicate and it took almost 200 years of vaccinations to do it. We almost managed to eradicate polio after only 70 years of vaccinations, but cases keep popping up in Afghanistan and Africa. The big difference between smallpox and polio, on the one hand, and Covid on the other is that either contracting or being vaccinated for smallpox or polio gives you lifetime immunity, contracting or being vaccinated for Covid does not. I contracted Covid in 2020, was vaccinated last year, and contracted it again last month. My experience is not at all rare. The SCIENCE is now undeniable that we will never eradicate Covid through mass vaccinations. It is now indemic like the flu or like the strain of Covid that causes the common cold.

"although as this particular vaccine technology advances, it will surely get there in the future. " Kira's confidence seems to lack basis. I'm increasingly inclined to suspect that this particular "vaccine" technology has been a Red Herring in the mission to defeat the viral foe. It's certainly been shown to have very limited effectiveness, and only for a short time at that.

covid vaccine is not a vaccine. It's a flue shot. Has anyone ever had in the last few years, a polio booster shot. or a smallpox booster shot. No. because the original shot is a VACCINE. Both vaccine took years to perfect. Polio vaccine was tested for 5 loooong years. flu shots are a crap shoot. No one knows if the shot that one is getting is the correct serum. Covid and the flu are viruses There are no "vaccines" for a virus. And if this shot really worked, why are the ingredients of the shot not being made available until the year 2075. somethings wrong with that!

Communism is always about compulsion. Welcome to the Socialist Republic of the USA. Great fun having the government tell you what to do about every small detail of your life. They know everything about you. Your work, earnings, healthcare visits and electronic charts, your vaccinations, and your political leanings. They control it all.

This is from a news article in the country I live in from a few days ago. It refers to relaxation of measures, particularly those against the unvaxxed who have been unable to enter hospitality venues (restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, hotels, etc. since mid December 2021). "Even though Voniatis did not spell it out, such relaxations on the vaccine-free are not likely any time soon however, since the relaxation of restrictions for that section of the population would remove the government’s leverage on the non-compliant to get jabbed." So there it is in black-and-white - the unvaxxed are non-compliant according to the government. The article has since been updated and this statement has been removed. It should be noted that approx 80% of the adult population here has been vaccinated, many with 3 doses.

Why bother with improving the “vaccine” in the future? In truth, omicron is so weak that we don’t even need any shots now. And the virus will only weaken in the future. But we’re not supposed to know that.

The tally for how much the federal government spent to combat COVID-19 is now estimated to be $5 trillion. It is more than the combined costs of World Wars I and II. The left is celebrating that politicians in Washington saved us. Really? From what exactly? Two years later, it is time for an honest assessment. Could things have worsened for the country if the government had spent nothing and done nothing? What would have happened if we had not shut down our businesses? Our churches, schools and restaurants. Our parks, basketball courts and playgrounds. Would the public have made worse decisions regarding protecting its health

Veteran, 76-year-old rocker Neil Young was bad enough. Seventy-eight-year-old Joni Mitchell soon followed. In yet another “devastating blow,” 71-year-old Peter Frampton came next. Oh noes, how will Spotify survive? But now, in what might prove to be the death blow to Spotify, the ex-royals of ex-royals — attention-craving Harry and Meghan — have announced that they too will join the Joe Rogan protest and boycott the audio streaming and media services provider. But first a bit of background. The left has long accused Rogan, host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” — the most popular podcast in the world in 2021— of spreading COVID “misinformation” and “anti-vaccination rhetoric,”

The media cannot stand the fact that the narrative about the Canadian trucker convoy protest has gotten away from them and you can see how they feel about it by taking a look at how MSNBC is reacting. The trucker convoy protest has been making its way through Canada’s capital city of Ottawa and has become the largest in history spanning an astounding 45 miles. At the center of the protest is the message that Canadians are rejecting the government vaccine, mask, and lockdown mandates, and the desire to be treated as free westerners, not subjects of a single man and his leftist whims.

Joe Biden began his presidency with a promise to advance equity, which means favoring some races and ethnicities over others to shrink outcome disparities. Like many of his fellow liberal Democrats, Biden is tethered to the belief that black upward mobility won’t happen without coddling and special treatment from the government. Donald Trump’s record complicates such claims. One of the most underreported stories of the Trump presidency is the extent to which black economic fortunes improved. The mainstream media presented Trump daily as a bigot whose policies would harm the interests of racial and ethnic minorities. Meanwhile, black economic advancement occurred to an extent unseen

Some experts have suggested that the omicron variant of COVID-19 could be the beginning of the end of the pandemic. In addition to its relatively low case fatality rate, cases overall are declining. Don’t jump for joy just yet. Just because COVID may be coming to an end soon doesn’t mean mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and other COVID restrictions will simply disappear. I hate to be cynical, but considering how leftist government officials have proven themselves unwilling to give up their COVID-era control over people, it seems likely that “life will find a way” for them to continue indulging their lust for power.

Generally speaking, I am not a fan of polls. For one, I’ve never been polled by anyone. For another, the number of people being polled often strikes me as too small a sample from which to draw broad conclusions. Also, those samples more often than not tend to oversample one group, Democrats, let’s say, over another group, which again leads to questions of accuracy. Bottom line, I don’t trust ‘em and tend to ignore them in preference to the only poll that actually counts, the election itself. I’ve often asked myself, what would I do if I were to be contacted to participate in a poll.
