Clearly, election night this coming November is not shaping up to be a good one for Democrats. The historical trends alone all but guarantee they lose the House of Representatives, and the contemporary trends are no better, pointing to a large Republican wave that could also decisively shift power in the Senate. Yet, in the midst of all that darkness for Democrats stands the state of Georgia. Sure, they are probably going to get beat in Florida and Arizona, but Georgia is supposed to be different. It’s trending the opposite way, representing an oasis in the political desert for a party that will be thirsty for a big win in November.

The one massive problem that Tuesday’s primary brought was massive lines, with people waiting for more than four hours in some places to vote.
Both Republicans and Democrats agreed that what happened Tuesday was a big problem, but they don’t agree on who to blame.
“As we watched what unfolded today, we knew that we were in the midst of a disaster,” said voting rights activist and former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.

Every crisis has a self-reflection point. Six weeks into the coronavirus pandemic, we now have data and information available. We have seen the face of the enemy. Tragically, lives have been lost to the virus, but many victims have survived, and even more Americans have remained healthy through it all. It is time to begin examining what we have done and whether, with the benefit of hindsight, we were right to do it.

Political commentator Geraldo Rivera said that Vice President Kamala Harris would be “terrific” on the Supreme Court on Fox News’ “The Five” Wednesday.“She [Harris] could be a terrific Supreme Court Justice, an appointment for life. Lancaster Online reported Tuesday that agents with Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, (ATF) seized firearms from an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania’s Leacock Township.
The seizure of the firearms occurred earlier this month.
Lancaster Online indicates the ATF’s action revolved around the farmer, Reuben King, allegedly selling firearms without a license.
King admitted that he had sold some firearms, but stressed that they were mostly long guns that other Amish could use for hunting. He noted that he sold some to non-Amish too.
He added, “I was not dealing in handguns, positively not.”
