President Biden's approval rating dropped to 41 percent in the latest Pew Research Center survey as the president hemorrhages support with key voting groups.
The Pew survey, published Tuesday, found Biden's approval rating was down from 44 percent in September and significantly lower than the 59 percent approval rating he had in April.
"Biden’s job approval numbers have declined across most demographic groups since September," the survey found.
The Pew survey found Biden's approval had dropped by 7 percentage points

The coming midterm elections are not looking good for Democrats. In fact, short of some kind of divine intervention, Joe Biden’s party is going to get absolutely boat-raced. It could stack up to be a wave election that makes 2010 look like child’s play, and I don’t say that lightly.
In the midst of that hostile environment, numerous Democrat incumbents have announced their retirements, which is usually a sure-fire sign of coming doom. You may recall all the articles from 2018 noting how Republican retirements were a very bad sign. Indeed, they did precede a blue wave, and the reverse is now occurring in 2022.
Just how bad are things?

For the first time in my life, I have a strong feeling that the infanticidal regime established by Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton and reinforced by a bevy of stupid and strictly results-oriented decisions might be on the verge of repudiation by a clear majority of the Supreme Court.
There are two major abortion cases before the Supreme Court. One case, arising from Mississippi and called Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, bans abortion after the 15th week for all intents and purposes. The law has been in litigation since enacted, but six justices seemed

New York’s indoor mask mandate for schools and other public locations will remain in effect after an appeals court judge granted a stay on Tuesday, temporarily blocking a ruling from a lower court that struck down the mandate one day earlier.
Justice Robert Miller’s ruling on Tuesday effectively allows the mask requirement to temporarily go back into effect while the state files a formal appeal of the Monday ruling. Another hearing is scheduled on the mask mandate for Friday morning.

Following the fatal shooting of a police officer in Manhattan last week, Mayor Eric Adams on Monday unveiled his new strategy to combat rising gun violence in New York City, starting with the deployment of an anti-gun crime unit next month.
“We will not surrender our city to the violent few,” Adams said.
The city will launch a reinvented version of the plainclothes anti-crime unit, which was disbanded amid the civil unrest prompted by the murder of George Floyd, to emphasize fostering community trust in law enforcement rather than the aggressive crime-fighting tactics that had provoked protest from Black Lives Matter.

News reports on Monday, January 24 state that President Biden has begun to put US troops on high alert that they may be deploying to Eastern Europe and that US troops will be symmetrically deployed to the west of Ukraine opposite Russian forces, thus surrounding the beleaguered nation on both sides.
Nine hundred miles east of the Cold War’s Fulda Gap, Ukraine has become the 21st Century version of the contest arena for the latest test of wills in Europe’s long history of power struggles between the children of the Caucuses.
As of this week, the United States and the European Union are in a race

Up to 8,500 US troops have been put on heightened alert for a possible deployment to Eastern Europe as Russian troops mass on Ukraine's border, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said Monday.
But, sources have told WRAL News' Fayetteville reporter, Gilbert Baez, that Fort Bragg troops will be going to Europe. The public affairs officers for Fort Bragg's 18th Airborne Corps and the 82nd Airborne Division said the White House will have to confirm any deployments.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin issued the prepare to deploy orders at the direction of President Joe Biden. Kirby said no final decision to deploy the troops had been made.

Remember when we were all assured that Joe Biden was a paradigm of decency? Unlike the bad orange man, he would never lose his temper and launch a gross attack on the free press.
Well, that’s how the story went anyway. In reality, Biden has continuously shown himself to be a thin-skinned man-child who can’t take even the slightest hint of criticism. Today, that boiled over into an expletive-laden attack on Fox News’ Peter Doocy.
Gird your loins, because you are about to witness an event that would have CNN’s Jim Acosta in tears if it involved Donald Trump.

A New York State Supreme Court judge on Monday ruled that Governor Kathy Hochul’s mask mandate for schools and other public locations is unconstitutional.
Judge Thomas Rademaker found that the governor and the state health commissioner did not have the authority to enact a mask mandate without the state legislature, given that the governor no longer has emergency powers.
The mask mandate has been in place since mid-December, when the state saw a surge in the highly transmissible Omicron variant.

The Supreme Court announced on Monday that it will take up suits challenging the consideration of race as a factor in college admissions.
The Court will hear challenges by non-profit Students for Fair Admissions against Harvard University and the University of North Carolina, alleging both schools discriminate against Asian applicants. Arguments will likely be heard in spring of this year, with a decision by June.
A federal judge ruled in favor of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in October 2021 following the SFA lawsuit, while a federal appeals court rejected SFA’s suit against Harvard in November 2020.

As you likely recall, one order from the flurry of executive mandates that Joe Biden issued immediately upon taking office was the cancellation of construction on the Keystone XL pipeline. No big deal, right? I mean, who needed that crazy pipeline? Well, as it turns out… we did. As the country recovered from the shutdowns and commercial vehicular traffic started growing back toward pre-pandemic levels, the oil and gas industry kicked back into gear as demand increased. But under the new White House policies, supply hasn’t been able to keep up with demand and that situation inevitably leads to two predictable results. First, gas prices

Are you ready for some more of that foreign policy “expertise” Joe Biden is supposedly famous for? As RedState has reported, tensions between Ukraine and Russia are nearing a boiling point, with the latter possibly invading at any moment. On Saturday, the State Department moved to evacuate all embassy personnel and their families.
Now, the call to leave the country has extended to all Americans. Unfortunately, because absolutely no lessons were learned from Afghanistan, the Biden administration isn’t planning on offering any help. In fact, they basically told Americans still in Ukraine to go jump in a lake.
