The 1/6 Select Committee Witch Hunt

Original Article

For quite some time, Congress has ceded its constitutional power to legislate to the unelected administrative state -- at least when Democrats are both the congressional majority and hold the White House. Now, having ignored its true function, it seeks to expand its mandate to judicial powers. The Select Committee set up by Speaker Nancy Pelosi to investigate the January 6 riot has obviously determined that its mandate does not require a legislative purpose: It will act as a judicial branch, ...

Of course this should be a must-read. What could be more important than exposing this seizure of power, this coup, by Pelosi and her minions? Glenn Greenwald points out that in the 1950s the House Committee on Un-American Activities also acted in a judicial capacity it had no right to, and the Supreme Court eventually recognized that fact. I have a personal stake in this, as my father, who had been a Communist, was grilled by that committee and consequently lost his teaching job. Our family went through some hard times. I don't excuse him; being a Communist *is* un-American. But my father didn't bring his political views into the classroom, and HUAC was taking powers that rightly belonged to the Department of Justice. This committee is doing even more shocking things. As Glenn Greenwald writes: And just as was true of the 1950s House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) that prompted those Supreme Court rulings, the 1/6 committee is not confining its invasive investigative activities to executive branch officials or even citizens who engaged in violence or other illegality on January 6, but instead is investigating anyone and everyone who exercised their Constitutional rights to express views about and organize protests over their belief that the 2020 presidential election contained fraud. Indeed, the committee's initial targets appear to be taken from the list of those who applied for protest permits in Washington: a perfectly legal, indeed constitutionally protected, act.

Without a doubt, who are the first ones to make rise of McCarthyism when under investigation? It’s a rhetorical question folks. But this committee is doing exactly what the McCarthy Committee did back in the fifties. Back then, they were going after Commies. Today, it’s Trump. We are going to need strong Conservative leadership to straighten out this country. Primary RINO’s and vote in conservatives. We don’t need to hear other opinions because we’ve heard them all before and reject them.

This is a tyrannical power grab by the Left, trying to take over this great nation. They accused Trump of stealing the 2016 election and used that accusation to execute a witch hunt that remains in progress today. Then they accused anyone who believes the 2020 election was stolen of insurrection. Now they are already making statements that 2022 will be stolen, unless their "voter rights" bill is passed, the bill that simply legalizes the crimes they committed to steal the 2020 election. They are in a WAR against conservatism and constitutional Americanism, and boldly imposing tyranny on our Republic. Republicans in DC better wake up!!!

The democrat party, which includes the DOJ, FBI, deep state and the left media, governs for the democrat party. They are all democrat operatives, from Biden on down, and with this power, will go after every republican if they can. They are there to strengthen the party, not necessarily to make things better for the country and all it's people, which is the way Trump governed. It's amazing that there are a lot of people that still support the democrats. These are mostly the ill-informed and dyed-in-the-wool that will always vote for democrats, without thinking.. The democrat party is the demented party.

Well if the wimpy Republicans do gain majorities in Congress after the November 2022 election any have any guts you have to believe that some Democrat operatives and politicians who operated outside the law in relation to that unconstitutional committee will end up in jail and as the defendants in a lot of civil suits. When you get to the bottom line on the past January 6th riot at the US Capitol building that caused damage to that historic building and injuries to police officers, the question should be, who was ultimately responsible as the highest elected official in Congress for the physical security of that historic building and the ineffective number of Capitol Police Officers on duty at the time the riot took place? Clearly someone was totally incompetent regarding those factors that should have been considered and dealt with appropriately as it was public knowledge that a massive political demonstration consisting of hundreds of thousands of people, and political protestors, from outside DC was scheduled to take place in the area of the U.S. Capitol building on that date?

Conducted in New York and California between May and November of 2021, the study also found that natural immunity offered even “greater” protection “after the highly transmissible Delta variant became predominant,
