Anthony Fauci has been wrong

Dr. Anthony Fauci has a good bedside manner with the public, but he has been wrong about everything I have interacted with him on. In late January, when I was making the case on behalf of the president to take down the flights from China, Fauci fought against the president’s courageous decision — which might well have saved hundreds of thousands of American lives. When I warned in late January in a memo of a possibly deadly pandemic,... was telling the news media not to worry.

Comments:

Everyone is talking about this. It's short and just points out some well acknowledged failures.

Good for Mr. Navarro. I think he just expressed, in writing, what a lot of us have been saying about Fauci! Every time it looks like we're getting ahead of this Virus, out comes Fauci to shoot us down. Looks like he's working with the Democrats to keep this country down as long as possible so that Trump won't win the Election! JMHO

FTA : "However, several of Navarro’s criticisms of Fauci — on the China travel restrictions, the risk from the coronavirus and falling mortality rates — were misleading or lacked context. As such, Navarro’s op-ed did not meet USA TODAY’s fact-checking standards." USA Today claiming someone does not meet their " fact-checking standards " is like Jeffrey Epstein claiming he rejected females that "did not meet his age standards".

"good bedside manner with the public"???! My gut reaction to Fauci talking is similar to my response when I see Peter Strzok. My mind immediately says, "There is a WB (weasel bureaucrat)!" (I just reread the book 1984, which was very depressing by the way. On page 205 George Orwell wrote in 1949, "What kind of people would control this world....bureaucrats, scientists, technicians...journalists and professional politicians.".....intent on crushing opposition."

Yes, precisely. It's obvious to anyone who's watched Dr. Ouchie over time that he trims his sails to the political winds. He has been utterly unreliable and thoroughly dishonest. It's also obvious that USA Today has been attacked by a band of eWokes who have demanded a virtual retraction in the form of a disclaimer. Before an op-ed, for Pete's sake. Apparently we need permission to have opposing views these days, and news organizations need to publish apologies for running them. Without freedom of speech, there is no freedom. It's time for all of this to stop. I can only hope President Trump annihilates them in November and will work towards that in every way I can.

He was wrong about HIV in 1986. I heard him, in person. refuse to condemn anal sex. And anal sex is the principal means of transmitting HIV. He was slow to respond to the HIV problem. And he responded incorrectly. The same is true in 2020. He loves the sound of his own voice. But he brings nothing to the party.

I read somewhere Dr Fauci referred to as Dr Falsey.. I believe this is most accurate- he was placed there to obfuscate, misdirect, and fight against Pres Trump. Go back to the HIV years- Dr Falsey was part of the misleading narrative then too.. Time to dismantle the CDC- or put it back in hands of non govt group..

LIstening to Fauci now is like hearing fingers on a chalkboard...BTW, does anyone recall how Dr. Birx came out (I think in April, could've been May) and said she didn't trust the data she was getting from the CDC? Ever since she made those comments, we've seen less and less of her...I find that so interesting. Actually, I can't recall the last time I saw her on tv.

I have not hired Dr. Fauci to be my doctor, nor the governor, legislatures, Congress, CDC, WHO, county judge, mayor, police chief, sheriff, CEO's, store managers, or Karens. I am not sick, nor is anyone I work with, or live with sick, and none of us has hired a doctor, so we all wonder why we are being asked to stay home, or mask up. For those that are sick, please engage a doctor, and leave the rest of us out of it.

Fauci and Birx were part of a political theatre act from the beginning of this "crisis" that included PDT, VP Pence and a host of solemn-faced others we saw daily lined elbow to elbow without masks exhorting the public to practice social distancing and to wear a mask. Who orchestrated this day-after-day briefing nonsense? Who controlled the message? This is what gave legitimacy to the governors and others shutting down local economies and control the public's daily activities. Fauci and Birx were the gold standard of information, elevated by the President of the United States, sharing his bully pulpit. And now we have the results.

Yes, Navarro and Trump are definitely playing good cop/bad cop on this one. #4, I think that 1984 was one of the most frightening books I ever read. Between that and Atlas Shrugged, Orwell and Rand had the socialist mindset and SOP down cold. To read either one of them today, you would think you were reading an article in the NYT or Washington Post.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is begging wealthy New Yorkers to return to the city to save it from economic ruin while fighting off calls from other lawmakers to raise their taxes, a move he fears could permanently drive the top 1 percent out of the city. Thousands of New York City residents fled Manhattan and Brooklyn earlier this year when the city was the COVID-19 epicenter of the world. Many flocked to their second homes in the Hamptons or upstate, while others rented or bought new properties, abandoning their expensive city apartments. Now, six months on with no end to the national nightmare in sight, many are laying down permanent roots.

Kneeling for the national anthem at sporting events used to be the occasional episode of player activism protesting the United States as an evil racist empire. Amid the new 21st century woke revolution however, kneeling has become a key signifier for players and teams to declare which side of the culture wars one sits on. It’s those who love America versus those who hate it, the latter of which despises the American flag and all that it represents as a relic of white supremacy that must be condemned.

Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, signed an executive directive on Wednesday ordering state employees to undergo “implicit bias training.” Executive directives allow the Michigan governor to establish procedures or basic policy for employees of the state’s executive branch. According to the directive, current state employees will be required to undergo “implicit bias training” by the end of this year, while new employees must complete the training as part of the hiring process. While various bias training initiatives have been implemented by government offices in recent months, some research shows that the impact of these initiatives is negligible. Whitmer’s directive
