I don't normally wish ill upon others, certainly not by group affiliation or by association. But this guy as an individual? If it's his time I won't shed a tear over it. Reminder: there are still hundreds for sure and possibly thousands of Americans STILL in Afghanistan that this sc*mb*g abandoned to death, slavery, torture, rape, and other abuses and he doesn't give a damn. I’ve resisted getting The Shot thus far, but with all this evidence of tremendous efficacy and benefit, guess I’ll have to run out and line up for the first, second, boosters 1,2,3 etc. Particularly since can’t find monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine. The excuse behind the DoD mandatory jabs was to maintain readiness of the force. If the implementers of said policy are now down with COVID, to include SECDEF Lloyd Austin (jabbed w/ boosters), then so much for credibility of the rationale. Anecdotal evidence that I’ve personally witnessed (service members still getting sick with COVID) undercuts DoD’s medical/readiness argument for the mandatory jab. Therefore if the medical reason falls flat in face of the evidence, then the push for the mandatory jab is entirely political. Flush the ranks of those who refuse the jab in order to retain a compliant—yet increasingly ineffectual—force.

So, the NHL hockey players were 100% vaccinated. 73% have tested positive for COVID 60% have tested positive in the last 5 weeks. What we are being told is the shots will not prevent you from still getting COVID, but it will reduce the impact of COVID. Which sounds nearly identical to what I'm told when getting the annual flu shot, right? I will take a reduction of impact from COVID any day compared to what some have had to endure. Lastly, my BIL works at a local hospital, and he said their morgue is filling up (not a large hospital so don't know how much capacity they'd have), but the folks coming in with Omicron are being sent home to complete their recovery.
